This Time You Are Mine 65 I am alive!

It was finally the time for the meeting in the Stones Enterprises' main building. Vince and Edward together with the rest of the board members are already present. Now, they're only waiting for Amira and Airis. As Vince is busy reviewing the papers he had gathered, Edward handed a piece of paper to him.

"What is this?" Vince asked Edward while looking at the paper.

"Read it. It's my ultimate weapon. But I promised Yve that you can only use it when needed.

Vince took this chance to open read the contents of the paper. This was truly the greatest weapon. But, most of all, he was shocked to see that Yve voluntarily signed this paper.

"Is this really true?" Vince asked Edward.

"Do you think that I would falsify this kind of document?" Edward asked Vince but with a slightly annoyed tone. Edward can't believe that Vince doubted him. Vince noticed this and immediately tried to appease Edward.

"It's not that I doubt you. It's just something unusual for Yve's side. When did she sign this paper?" Vince asked Edward.

"When she became the president in-charge of SkyMu. She asked me for this paper just in case there will be day you might need this." Edward explained as Vince was lost in his thoughts and continued to stare at him in disbelief.

"I never thought that there will actually be a day you will need this." Edward said.

After he finished his explanation, Amira and Airis arrived at the conference hall. They looked so confident that Airis will get back SkyMu because of Yve's condition.

At the hospital

Slane has now arrived in the room and is giving Chrysthe the run through about the medicines.

"So, do you get it now, Chrysthe?"

"Yes! You're really amazing, Slane! When I tried to read the medical records on my own, I had no idea. But when you explained it to me, everything looked so easy."

"Well, a medical record is a detailed explanation of what happened to the patient. I just focused on the medication since that is what you should know."

"You're really the best!" Chrysthe wrap his arm on Slane's shoulder.

"Isn't she supposed to wake up any moment from now?" Slane asked.

"Yeah."

"I think we should sat beside her bed to be on standby. After all, Primo might be late because he has an important meeting to attend to." Slane said.

"By the way, Slane, Primo ordered me not to call him Primo when in front of this girl. I think that is applicable to all Team Alpha members." Chrysthe informed Slane as both of them look for their respective chairs. They carried it and placed beside Yve's bed.

"Chrysthe, she's beautiful, isn't she?"Slane remarked as he analyzed Yve's facial feature.

"You bet she is. But wait!" Chrysthe said and stared to Slane with a questionable look.

"Wait, what?!" Slane asked.

"Do you like her?!" Chrysthe asked.

"You really let your imaginations run wild, don't you? I just praised her for her looks, then you put malice into it. I don't even dare like the woman that Primo likes." Slane explained.

Then they were interrupted by a mutter. They looked at the direction, it leads to and saw that the lady lying on the bed is about to wake up.

"Vi--n--c--e" Yve tried to say as she open her eyes.

The two men stood up in response.

"I will call the doctors. You stay here, Chrysthe." Then the man rushed outside the room while the other stayed beside her.

He introduced himself, "My name is Chrysthe and that man who ran outside is Slane."

Chrysthe saw that Yve is trying to cover herself and is now looking so afraid. So in his attempt to calm Yve, he further explained.

"We are sent here by Mr. Vincent Gray to protect you."

"Vince?! Where is he?" Yve asked.

"He is in...." But before Chrysthe can reveal Vince's location, Slane came back with a group of doctors and nurses. This surge of medical experts has a different effect on Yve as she is looking for Vince.

"You! Please tell me where is Vince..." Yve pleaded Chrysthe.

"Ms. you need to calm down." The nurse told Yve as they all try to settle her down.

"NO! I want to see Vince!" Yve said.

Chrysthe felt sorry for Yve but he also know that the doctors are only doing their job.

"I will call Mr. Gray for you. But right now, he is in a very important meeting. Why don't you let them take a good look on you?" Slane asked her with sincerity in his eyes.

"But...."

"If he is available, I will give the phone to you so you can talk to him. How about that?" Slane bargained further.

"Okay. Deal." Then Yve finally settled down. The doctors can do their job while Slane went to the balcony to give Vince a call.

at the Stones Enterprises' main office

"We should change the leader! SkyMu is not stable enough to lose its leader." One of the board members said.

"My daughter, Airis, is ready to take over once more as long as it's settled." Amira said.

"WAIT!" Vince intercepted.

"What do you want to say, Mr. Gray?" Amira asked.

"Well, since she's my wife, I think there will be no questions about my qualification if I will take the reins temporarily."

This statement brought another discussion inside the conference room. It is an unexpected move. Suddenly, Edward's phone vibrated. When Edward saw the caller ID, he whispered to Vince.

"Go ahead. Answer the phone and give me an update. It's Slane after all." Vince ordered.

"Okay." Then Edward excused himself.

Outside the conference hall, Slane had informed Edward of the good news as well as Yve's request. Edward fully understood the situation but he isn't sure if it's going to be fine. So with Slane still on the line, he went back inside and informed Vince.

"Give me the phone, Edward."

"Hello? Please the phone to Yve." Vince ordered the Slane on the other end.

Yve's name silences everyone in the conference room. They began to look at Vince awaiting the reality of this situation.

"Hello?" As soon as Vince heard Yve's voice, he turned the loudspeaker feature of the phone on.

"I'm here at the conference room."

"Are they talking about replacing me?" Yve asked.

But nobody answered. This question brought amusement to them as they never thought that her guess will be on point.

"To the person, who did this, sad for you, I'm still alive. There's no need to replace me. I'm sure Mr. Gray has thoroughly studied my plan. He can report the ongoing plans but as for the future ones, I will be modifying it further to avoid any unexpected surprises." Yve stated.

After which, Vince turned the loudspeaker off and put the phone near his ear.

"I'll be right there as soon as this is finished."
