VINCE's POV

I am outside my own bedroom because after kissing me surprisingly, my Queen has locked herself inside. I've been trying to hold back this urge I have inside because I respect her. If ever, I wanted it to be in mutual agreement or because she said she wants to. I'm always ready….

But with what she did, heaven knows I've been dying to claim her, her heart, her mind and most of all her heart.

"Yve, please come out. Or can you open the door?" I pleaded.

"No! You will surely take your revenge on what I did." She replied.

"I promise I will not. Besides revenge is only committed by those who got hurt and wants the other person to experience the same. I was not hurt. As the matter of fact, I like it."

But I heard nothing from her and the door is still locked.

"To be honest, instead of taking my revenge, I wanted more. I wanted your lips in mine again."

"PERVERT!!" She shouted but she finally opened the door.

"But still you opened the door for me."

"Maybe I shouldn't."

Then she tried to close the door again but it's too late as I was able to get inside the room completely. Realizing that it was no use, she walked backwards as I take my time and walk forward towards her. Then she outbalanced and sat on the edge of the bed. I kneel in front of her and cupping her face in my hands, I asked her,

"What do you really want now, my dear Queen?"

I saw her swallowed her own saliva and feeling her face turned hot in my hands. On the other hand, I was feeling so nervous and I can clearly hear my heart beating like crazy inside of me. I hope she's not hearing it because it will be embarrassing.

She still hasn't given me any answer instead, she bit her lower lip. This action cut all the sanity left in me. I pushed her her head to mine. Claiming her lips.

As I was still waiting for her permission, I kissed her lips once, then twice until I finally got her permission. I also realized that I'll never have enough of this intoxicated feeling. I was everywhere up her back and over her arms and I decided to kiss her harder, deeper, with a fervent urgent need I've never known before.

YVE's POV

And he's kissing me. Once, twice, until I've had a taste and realize I'll never have enough. He's everywhere up my back and over my arms and suddenly he's kissing me harder, deeper, with a fervent urgent need I've never known before.

I like the feeling but I was also feeling a little scared by all this sensation as this was new to me. I tried to move, but it felt as if my body were tied down by invisible threads. His kiss is poisoning not just my body but my entire being.

I was still wearing my clothes but my bracelet and watch made a dry sound against each other. His tongue was long and strong and seemed to enjoy exploring my mouth. Following his lead I also did the same to his.

Just as I was about to be drifted away to another place, Vince was about to unbuttoned my blouse which brought me back to reality.

I am not yet prepared for this. Yes, I love Vince and I know I can trust him but I still have so many things to do and accomplish, especially taking back the Stones Enterprises. If ever I will give myself to him, it's because I know that I can fulfill my responsibilities as his wife and the mother of our future children.

"Vin….ce… please…. Sto...stop." I tried to say in between his kisses.

Then he stopped and said, "Why? You don't want to?"

"I'm not yet ready. I don't think this is the right time for this." I told him to which he sat down beside me and said,

"It's fine. I can understand."

I thought everything was fine but suddenly he stood up and went to the bathroom. I was afraid to call him because I might lose the little rationality I have. He said he can understand but still he went to the bathroom.

A few minutes later, he returned but I was still sitting the same way he has left me. I was afraid to confront him but then he stood in front of me and kissed my forehead. My heart was beating fast again.

"Can you grant one selfish request of mine?" He asked while looking at my eyes. His gaze was so strong and it was enough to convince me to ask what is it.

"What kind of request?"

"Can we share this bed tonight?"

And then it hit me. I have been staying in his place and sleeping in his room. But there is only one bedroom in his penthouse. Now where is he sleeping? Is it always on the couch in the living room?

I wasn't able to answer him immediately so he thought it was not fine with me. He was about to go out of the room but I called his name.

"VINCE!" He stopped walking but he didn't turn around. So I walked towards him and intercepted.

"All this time, where were you sleeping?"

"Ah.. about that. I was sleeping in the living room."

"Why didn't you said so in the first place? So that I can transfer there and you can have your bed back. This is your room in the first place."

"NO!!! What do you think of me?! Of course, I would want my bed but ensuring you're comfortable when sleeping is my top priority."

His explanation formed a smile on my face. I hugged him and said,

"Okay. But promise me one thing…"

Without breaking the embrace, he asked, "What is it?"

"Don't do anything while I am asleep. Okay?" Then I look at him with a face asking for a sincere answer from him.

"Of course. I will not do anything which you don't like or agree."

"Thank you, Vince."

"Anything for my Queen."

Vince hugged me one more time and we enjoyed that serene moment when we felt it was just us in this world.

Oh how I wish this moment never ends.
