To calm them down, Sylvan releases a statement and posts it in their internal page that their boss overslept and needs to rest for the day. He also instructs them through a letter that if there's any important thing to be discussed they can call his office.
His open letter has somehow able to calm the employees enough for them to continue working and fulfilling the tasks entrusted to them.
Back at the couple's house, Yve has just woke up from her sleep by the sound of her hungry stomach. She heads directly to the kitchen and cooks a simple and easy to prepare dish to ease her hunger. Chrysthe comes in and informs her of what happened that morning. He also asks her if she wishes to go to school today. Yve's low energy is very noticeable to Chrysthe. From then on, he concludes that something is definitely wrong with the couple.
"Hmm… please go ahead and call Sylvan. I like to go out today." Yve instructs Chrysthe.
"If I may ask, where do you want to go today?"
"No need to make the necessary arrangements. I will drive myself and pick up Nyelle on the base. We'll have some fun a little."
"But Young Madam, we need to observe the perimeter all the time."
"Chrysthe, I need some time alone with my friend. I'll have Eybelle personally guard us and her men can follow us from the shadows." Yve plans out her security so as Chrysthe will have no other reasons for objections.
"Then, I'll call Eybelle and inform Slayne of what you just ordered."
"Thank you very much, Chrysthe."
Chrysthe leaves her alone to make the necessary arrangements. He also called his Boss regarding Yve's plans for the day.
"Let her do whatever she wants but you will replace Eybelle's position and have your men follow you around to have a better team work." Vince orders.
"Will do that, Sir!"
Listening to Chrysthe's report earlier, Vince is regretful of the things he did this morning. He gave in to his needs and forgot how Yve is easily scared. He should have been contented with the baby steps that Yve has been taking. Yet another part is asking him that if he will not act now, when will he be? Until when does he need to wait. His opinion on the matter is divided.
Vince decides it will be pointless to stay at the office without accomplishing anything because his mind is elsewhere. Left with no other choice, he leaves the office to look for his cousin, Edward for some brotherly moments.
Back at the house, Yve is getting ready to leave the house as Eybelle is patiently waiting beside the car. Nyelle is already waiting for them in the base after receiving Slayne's call.
"Slayne, shouldn't Yve be going to school this afternoon? I wonder why she wants to go out now?" Nyelle asks Slayne.
"She called in absent today for both work and school?" Slayne answers shortly.
"WHY?!"
Nyelle worriedly asks Slayne for more details. However, Slayne is hesitant to share anything as he doesn't have any solid proof. He also thinks that Yve might reveal the accurate information to Nyelle later.
"I'm not really sure why, Nyelle. It would be better to ask her yourself later."
Nyelle can only nod in agreement.
'I'll make sure to ask this friend of mine. What is bothering you so much?' Nyelle asks an imaginary Yve and takes note of this for their important conversation later.
Soon after, the time has come for Yve to pick up Nyelle at the base with Eybelle sitting in the front-seat. Nyelle instantly notices the look on her friend.
'Undeniably, something is really wrong. SkyMu is doing well and is constantly the talk of the town. Her studies, I'm not sure but with hard work she can pull it off. Now, this might be her love life then.' Nyelle makes the conclusion as she gets inside the car her best friend is driving.
"So, Yve where do you want to go?" Nyelle happily asks her friend.
"Hmm for now, I want to go to the vacation house."
"Vacation house? There are no new vacation houses in the list of your properties, Young Madam." Eybelle asks as she tries to recall the list they gathered before.
"It's actually the only property I asked from my stepmother in return for leaving Vince behind before." Yve calmly answers.
"Yve has a lot of important memories in that vacation house, happy memories with her parents." Nyelle describes further.
"But Eybelle, please keep this place a secret. Reveal it only when needed, okay?" Yve requests of Eybelle.
The latter instantly understands and promises to keep this topic off the records. She will inform the team that she's swore an oath of secrecy on the location.
The drive goes on for a while until they pass the cityscapes and nature is in view with all the trees on the right side and beach on the left side. It's entirely in an opposite direction from the base. Eybelle is quite worried that they might be going outside the city border. With few guards following behind them, it will still be tough for Eybelle to protect the ladies important to the top 2 people in command.
"Are we going to cross the border, Young Madam?"
"Nope. But we will be close to the border. I hope you don't mind."
"Not at all, Young Madam. I hope you will let me survey the house before you get in and the area afterwards." Eybelle bargains a request for their security.
"Of course." Yve readily agrees and with that the drive turns to silence. A silence that makes the air inside suffocating which is a clear indication that something is wrong with Yve.
"Yve, how about food? Why don't we go to a convenience store?" Nyelle asks trying to disrupt the noise.
"No worries. I have prepared the ingredients here as Eybelle and I went to a supermarket earlier before picking you up."
"Oh, I see."
Once again, nobody is saying anything inside the car. Yve is just too focused on the road, while Eybelle is wary of their security.
