This Time You Are Mine 323 Investor's Dinner 1

Yve's busy morning ends with a delicious packed lunch prepared by her husband. Remembering how her husband felt insecure with her busy schedule, Yve thinks of giving him a phone call right after eating.

"Hey, what's up?" Vince answers the phone call after one ring.

"Have you eaten your lunch?" Yve asks him in a whip of a moment.

"Not yet. I just finished a meeting and I took my seat when you called but I'm about to. And you?"

"I've just eaten. I'm only waiting for Sylvan so that he can drive me to school."

"By the way are you ready for the meeting with the investors later?"

"I did prepare for it. I'm just afraid of what they'll say with the plans I have for the company. I sincerely hope they will invest in SkyMu. This will help the company flourish greatly."

"I know you'll do well tonight. Don't worry too much. I'll be there with you." Vince assures Yve when he sensed doubt from Yve's voice.

"Thank you." Their conversation suddenly needs to be put on hold as Sylvan comes inside her office.

"Young Madam, I'm sorry to interrupt but it's time to go now."

"Thanks Sylvan. Can you go get the car? I'll see you in the lobby."

Instead of saying anything, Sylvan bows and obeys Yve's instructions.

"So our lunch time conversation is over. You should go now and focus on your school works." Vince smiles from the other side of the line and Yve knows it without hearing any laugh from the former.

"Okay, I will. See you after class."

"Sure! Tell Sylvan I'll pick you up from school."

"Okay."

With that, Yve heads down to the lobby where Sylvan is indeed waiting for her in the car.

At school, students are getting busier day by day and this afternoon isn't an exception. There are no classes as the professors are giving them the time to work on their projects. This time though, Yve and the rest of the team pays one of their professors in his office.

"Come in." The professor signals them to come in.

"Good afternoon, Professor." Yve greets him with her team mates just a step behind her.

"Oh, to what I owe a visit from your group despite one of the busiest seasons at school?"

"We have finished the group project you asked us to create. So we are here to submit this." Yve smiles in response as she places their project on top of his desk.

"That's pretty quick. I think this is the first group project you made. I'm honored." The professor smiles and is about to read the contents when the rest of the girls from Yve's group stop him.

"Sir! Can you please read it once we're all out of here?" One of the girls pleads.

"Why? You did your best for this project, am I correct?" The professor asks them.

"Of course! But it's particularly the reason why I think I am scared as well." Another girl answers.

"Okay. I can grant you that simple request. I'm sure that I will find this project very interesting to read." The professor smiles and closes the folder.

"We'll be on our way, then professor."

The professor smiles before saying, "See you during the major exams then."

After submitting their first group project, they head to the library to work on to their next project.

"Here is our share of the survey sheets filled with answers."

"Thank you. As for Yve and I, I think we can have them and ready for analysis and evaluation tomorrow." Lester assures the group and earns a nod from Yve.

Moving on from that topic they continue from where they left the third project of. Same as their previous meetings, each member has their respective task so their room is pretty quiet but harmonious. They talk to each other to ask suggestions and feedback from one another and are open for objective criticism.

On the other hand, Jenny is alone working on their group project in one of the expensive, private restaurants inside the campus. She has been typing on her laptop while eating delicious dishes from different kinds of cuisine when her group mates finally appear; Jenny seems a little bit tired already.

"Thank you for coming. Have a seat here first." Jenny shows them the seat and calls on a waiter to cater their needs.

"Jenny, if you're worrying about us stopping to cooperate, there's no need."

"No. I do believe that you will continue to work. This is just an apology for what I did earlier."

"…" Her group mates look at each other using which seems like they're asking for further elaboration.

"I'm at worst every morning, especially when someone or even something interrupts my sleep. I'm really sorry about that." Jenny sounds quite sincere this time.

"Thank you for the apology."

"We'll accept it, then. Thank you for the apology and the food, Jenny." One of the girls replies and takes a cupcake piece.

"Here is the file I promised earlier." The girl who got into an argument with Jenny hands over some papers.

"Thank you. Please enjoy the meal while I go over these files. I actually have some ideas of my own as well." Jenny's tone is indeed a lot better than this morning to the delight of her group mates.

With the free afternoon feast and a calmer Jenny in front of them, their afternoon seems to be far more productive and peaceful than this morning.

Just like that both Jenny's and Yve's afternoons are both filled with school project meetings. Yve sees Vince in front of the school building as they have agreed at lunch.

"Are you going on a date tonight, Yve?" One from group jokes around her to which Yve just smiles.

"I hope it would turn fine to be considered a date." Yve winks at them just in time for them to stand right in front of Vince who immediately snakes his arms behind Yve's waist.

"Vince, meet Lester."

"Hi." Both gentlemen offer their hand for a well-received shake.

"But of course, you already know him." Yve remarks as she proceeds with the introduction of the rest of her group members.

"Thank you very much for helping my wife with the projects." Vince compliments and offers a sincere gratitude to them.

"It's us who should be thankful for all of Yve's help, Mr. Gray." Lester answers in behalf of the team.

"Please, call me Vince. You're all close to my wife and call her by her first name. You can call me the same way." Vince humbles himself in front of Yve's classmates. Well his wife will be working with them in a lot of projects, so it wouldn't definitely hurt to know about them.

"Are you ready now?" Vince then turns to ask Yve the question.

"Yup." Yve nods in answer.

"I would love to talk to you but there's something we need to do tonight, maybe some other time then." Vince politely excuses themselves from the group.

"Of course, we understand. We're looking forward to the future chance. Take care!" Lester bids farewell to the couple and heads to his car while the rest of the girls walk away.

Vince and Yve get on their car as it zooms away from the campus.
