The one I've loved Chapter 11

The place where I was standing , it was silent yet a perfect bliss . I saw the moon was shining bright and the stars twinkling in the sky , the roads were empty with flickering streetlights and children were playing . I could hear the sound of breeze and the trees swaying in a rhythm , it made me feel euphoric .

I was startled by hearing a voice from behind , it was a voice which makes my heart flutter . And in that silent night hearing his voice made me feel like a morning coffee which was deep and addicting .

I knew who it was , I turned back and looked at Austin . He wore a white shirt and a black jeans , his thick black and light brown hair was shining as always .

Holding two glasses of orange juice, he stood near the door .

What are you going to give the kids this time he asked me again while walking towards me and giving a glass of juice .

I came back to my senses and I replied with a "aahhh? " . As I was surprised to his question .

I thought to myself ,if he saw me giving Justin's cake to the kids or if Justin told him as no one was there when I looked around that time .

He said that he saw me that day .

I turned my head towards him ,looking into his eyes I asked him with curiosity " ww . . whenn?"

" you are curious, aren't you ?" he said and chuckled .

No . . . yes ,I mean . . . how did you . . .

" On Justin's birthday . . . . I was standing right here and saw you giving his cake to the kids ," he said before I could complete my sentence and took a sip of juice while looking at the children .

Of all the people why should it be him , I thought .

Pausing for a moment ,he continued . Justin called your name out loud enough for me to hear while running towards you to save his favourite cake which I ordered especially for him . And that is how I got to know your name, he said and looked at me with a smirk .

I closed my eyes out of embarrassment and apologized .

He took another sip and asked me why was I standing alone in the balcony diverting the topic .

I was bored inside and thought of coming here ,I said .

He replied with an okay .

As the wind blew through my hair , I tucked it behind my ear .

Beautiful , I heard him saying and when I looked at him I saw him looking at the stars .

Indeed , I replied and finished my juice in one gulp .

He was looking only at the stars and admiring them while I was looking at the stars and at him .

We didn't talk for few minutes , I broke the silence asked him if he liked his new school .

Yes, he said with a grin and drank the remaining juice .

Do you have any close people other than Justin , I asked .

Are you asking about best friend or crush , he asked me looking into my eyes .

Both , I replied without breaking our eye contact .

That night I finally spoke to him looking into his eyes . Even though It happend when I was in my eighth standard and wrote my diary when was in tenth standard , I was able to remember every single minute of that night and I still do , because that night was special to me .
