The one I've loved 24 Greek God

We have Competitions held by Q.A.E.S in few days .Today , I was called by my English teacher during our first Class in the morning . When I went to meet her I saw Veronica and other two people standing in the corridor and waiting for our teacher who was in the staff room . I waved and smiled at Veronica and she did the same .

I went and stood beside her . I asked Veronica if she knew the reason as of why were we called by our English teacher . She shook her head and replied with a no . I gave a nod to her reply .

Austin wasn't present there . The last time I spoke to him was when I gave my speech .After the elocution competition held by my school management , I never spoke to him again , we only greeted eacthother with a smile and nothing more than that .

After sometime our teacher told us about the topics which we had to prepare for the competitions . Then I realised that the reason why she called us was to let us know about the topics and the dates .

While I was going to my class she called my name and told me to give details to Austin as he didn't come . I don't know why she called my name and told me to tell him , even though we both are in tenth standard we are in different sections .

She must have thought that I was in his class but then thankgod I got a chance to talk to him .

I went near his class and peeped through the window and saw that he wasn't in his bench , it was empty . I was depressed looking at that empty bench , I was happy that I could talk to him finally after months but looks like the universe doesn't want me to talk to him I thought and pursed my lips and was going back to my class .

What are you doing here , I heard Justin asking me . I turned back and was about to reply .

If I tell him the reason why I'm searching for Austin, he might tell me that he would give the details to Austin and tell me to go to my class .

I didn't want to tell Justin , I didn't want to loose my only chance to talk to Austin .

He snapped his fingers which brought me back to my senses and asked me again,"what are you doing here Jess ?".

"mmmm...well...I'm here for Austin ,where is he ? " I asked .

" In the library " he replied .

Oh , I'll see you later bye ,I said and left immediately .

I had a sigh of relief that he replied to me without asking me any questions .

I went to the library and looked at the people who were sitting there and reading . I finally saw Austin sitting at a corner near window and turning pages of a book .

I never thought that people could look attractive even while turning pages . His dark and light brown strands of hair which was shining as always fell on his forehead . The sun light which was falling on him made his face shine . He looked like one of those greek gods from ancient times written in the books . I hope god doesn't punish me for comparing him with the greek gods , I thought .

I was standing there shamelessly forgetting where I was . I slowly walked towards him admiring his handsome face. I never thought that he would look attractive while reading too .

Wish I could see him like this for the rest of my life .

I wanted to call his name but before I did he raised his head and looked at me with his thick black eyes which made my heart beat faster . I didn't expect him to look at me a of a sudden .

We looked at eacthother , he moved corner of his red lips upwards slightly and gave me a warm smile and said ,"Hey ."

" Oh hey ," I replied .

" Do you want me to help you search for any book ? , " he asked nonchalantly.

He once helped to find mathematics text book in the library.

No , I didn't come to take books I said shooking my head .

Then what did you come here for ? ,he asked me .

For you ... , I replied .

He gave me a quizzical look .

I ...mea..nnn , I came here for youuuu ....to give you the details about elocution , I said in a low voice and took a deep breath .

Ohhh ,he nodded and smiled .

Ma'am called me and told me to inform you about this since you didn't come , I said and looked at the table and saw that he was reading a magazine .

Thankyou for coming and telling me , he said softly looking at me .

I smiled and said that I would got to my class to which he nodded .

I left there without looking at him with a blushy smile on my face .

Even though we didn't speak much , I was happy that day . I was happy because I got a chance to talk to him atleast for a minute . I was happy because I saw him smile while I was talking . I was happy that I could look at him and admire him .
