The Universe Conspired For Us To Meet Chapter 6

That small movement made her realise that she felt a sharp pain in her head which was wrapped with something tight . She tried to wriggle her legs and then tried to move her hands which was again wrapped with something tight . Unless she didn't try to move, her discomfort was limited to a generalised ache throughout her body . Except that her head hurt extremely and her throat felt extremely dry too .

Upon hearing Ronnie, the girl swallowed and forced a croaking whisper from her parched throat . "May I have some water at first please?"

Upon hearing her voice, Ronnie felt an intense wave of relief that she replied to him . He immediately replied, "Sure . Hang on for a moment please I'll get it for you . "

Then, Ronnie ran towards the water pot to get her a cup of water .

Meanwhile the girl thought, 'Why is it that I'm not able to recollect how i ended up here? Who are these people? Why am I here? What's wrong with me? Why does my body hurt so much? Why does that guy seem so affected by my condition here? . . . . '

She was stopped midway between her thoughts when Ronnie returned with a cup of water . She couldn't even lift her arm to drink the water .

Sensing that, Ronnie himself made her sit up by supporting her back against the wall and even kept a small pillow-kind of supporting structure for her back . He made her drink the water .

She said, "Thank you . But I'm feeling very hungry too . " This was followed by her stomach growling . She covered her face which had now turned red with embarrassment .

Ronnie flashed a smile and said, "Don't worry . Let me go and check if I can arrange something for you to eat . You can keep resting till then . "

The girl nodded without looking at him .

Ronnie walked out of the hut and went to the Chief's Hut . Auntie Mo had just then prepared lunch . It was their usual lunch which consisted of boiled potatoes which were dipped in ground spices .

He communicated to Auntie Mo that she is awake and hungry and that she needs food .

On seeing his actions, Auntie Mo understood that that the girl must be awake now . She hurriedly poured the contents into a bowl and gave it to him .

Ronnie bowed to her and said, "Thank you Auntie Mo," for which she gladly nodded with a smile .

Then he ran inside to give it to her .

Meanwhile, the girl was again lost deep in her thoughts .

Ronnie saw her pale face when he entered with the food . So to bring her out of her thoughts he said, "Here we go, lunch is ready . Please eat as much as you want . "

The girl immediately had a smile on her face on seeing food . He didn't wait anymore . He started feeding her . Before eating, the girl asked Ronnie, "How about you? Won't you eat with me? Where is your bowl?"

Ronnie was so happy to hear that . He thought, 'This girl isn't just beautiful to look at but she has an even more beautiful heart . Another reason for falling for this mysterious beauty . '

He didn't realise that he was smiling to himself . His admiration for her increased in leaps and bounds . He felt like a hopeless teenager stuck in love at first sight with a girl .
