Ronnie then released her from his embrace and wiped her tears and said, "It's getting late . We better go and sleep Jayne . " Then he slipped his arm around her shoulder and led her to the tent .

Once they got in, they saw four mattresses placed side by side on the floor . Da Nuru was sleeping on the mattress in the corner . Beside him was his wife on the next mattress . There were two other empty mattresses left for Jayne and Ronnie . So Jayne went and slept next to Da Nuru's wife and Ronnie slept beside Jayne .

Jayne and Ronnie were facing each other . They simply gazed at each others calm face . Since Ronnie was too tired, he fell asleep very soon . Jayne saw that his breathing got regular and he was sleeping like a baby . She ran her hands through his hair lovingly and thought inwardly, 'Indeed I'm so lucky to have found him . But I will also work harder to match up to his levels after going from here . '

Later even she fell asleep .

The next morning, Ronnie was the first to wake up . He opened his eyes and saw his sleeping beauty next to him . He kissed her forehead lightly . He checked his watch and it was almost six in the morning . Since it was winters, the sun was yet to rise and it was still quite dark . He silently got up trying not to wake up the others to find the General .

The temperature inside the tent was a little warm . But the outside temperature was too cold . Ronnie was shivering . Since he'd prepared well for the weather conditions, his jacket kept him warm

The General was already awake by then . He had finished his morning exercises and was doing some work in his tent .

Ronnie walked up to his tent and greeted him . "Good morning General . "

The General got up from his seat and wished him back, "Good morning Sir . The jeep has been prepared for our journey . You can quickly freshen up . We'll have our breakfast and leave . "

Then he showed him out to the washroom area . Ronnie freshened up and came inside to wake up Da Nuru first . After him, they woke up the ladies . Finally all of them were ready .

It was close to seven-o'clock by then . Then they all walked towards the General's tent with their bag . The General was waiting for them to get ready . Once he saw them walking towards the tent, he walked out .

They all went to the camp where food was distributed to all . They too joined the others in having the simple food .

Ronnie told Jayne, "Eat a little here . You can eat some good food later once we get back to the capital or at the airport . "

His genuine care made Jayne blush down to her feet . She smiled and agreed to him . These little couple moments they shared spread lots of warmth in her heart .

They ate the khichdi(porridge) that was served there . It wasn't so tasty but very much filling . They could survive with this until they reached the capital .

They four of them thanked everyone at the camp . Finally, they began their next journey towards the capital with the General and his subordinate driving the Jeep .

What they didn't know was, as their jeep left the small district towards the capital, another bus reached the small district .

In the bus was a tall, handsome, jet-black eyed man with sharp pointed nose . He was wearing an overcoat beneath which he'd worn a t-shirt and jeans . He carried a backpack . When one looked at him closely he seemed very tired after travelling for long .
