At that time, Ronnie looked up in the direction of Virat's line of sight. Since he was standing and looked at a different angle, all that he could see was the setting sun's reflection on the glass walls of his company building.

'What is this man gazing so intently at?' Ronnie frowned.

He tapped Virat's shoulder. "Hey buddy!"

Virat shuddered and snapped back to his senses. He had never imagined Ronnie to have caught him staring at his wife. He paled instantly as fear crossed his face.

"Hey buddy! Relax! Aren't you the one who rescued my wife the other day?" Ronnie asked.

Virat forced a smile. "HahHaha! It's nothing Mr Ronnie Roy. I acted out of humanity. I'd do it to anybody.' He blabbered.

"But then, if it wasn't for you, I don't even want to think what would have happened to my wife. I was so worried about her the other day, that I left without even getting the chance to thank you properly." Ronnie pressed his lips together.

Virat's smiled. "I totally get it Mr Roy!"

He then smacked his head, stood up and extended his hand, "Mr Ronnie Roy, I'm Virat Mishra. Please sit down." He pulled out the chair opposite him.

"Oh! Are you an Indian? Thank you Mr. Virat Mishra!" Ronnie was pleasantly surprised. He shook hands with Virat and sat down.

"Yeah! I'm an Indian Mr Roy!" Virat shook hands and sat down.

He then gestured the waitress to take Ronnie's order.

"Good evening sir! What would you like to have?" She passed the menu to him.

Ronnie didn't check the menu. He just told her, "Dark coffee please!"

The waitress nodded and left.

Ronnie spoke next, "So, Mr Virat Mishra how is that you know my name? Have you benefit staying in London for a long time?"

Virat answered him, "I'm interning at ABC Corporation Mr Ronnie Roy. I haven't been staying here from a long time. I just came here a few weeks ago after finishing my Engineering degree. As for how I know you, you'd be surprised to hear it…" Virat let out a slight laughter.

Ronnie drew his eyebrows together with an amused look, "Oh is it?"

"Yes Mr Roy! Coincidentally, you were one of the Chief Guests at my University Convocation and I was one or the recipients of the degree. You yourself, gave me my degree certificate. But then, I never thought I'd meet you in person like this!"

Hearing Virat's words, Ronnie who was leaning back on the chair, came forward and exclaimed, "Oh my God! Don't tell me you are from A City's B university!"

Virat grinned. "Yes Mr Roy! I am for B University!"

"Such a small world!" Ronnie gushed.

"Yeah Mr Roy! I never thought we'd have such a strong connection between us!" Virat answered.

By then the waitress came with Ronnie's black coffee. She served him, bowed to him and left.

Ronnie took a sip of his coffee and thought inwardly,'I went in search of you to your University. Little did I know that you yourself would come looking for me. This is strange… I should try to extract as much information as possible from him. But before that, I've to take him into confidence.'

Ronnie then let out a laughter. "Indeed, I never expected us to have so many things in common! So, Mr Virat Mishra, how's work?"

"All good Mr Roy! Thank you for asking! I'm working on a project on Security at my company. Actually, I lost the love of my life in a disaster. Even for today, I just wish I could turn back time and know where she was so that I could go and rescue her before-...." He trailed off….

Ronnie took a sip of his coffee. He didn't read further into it. He thought that Virat's lover must have probably died in that disaster.

"Oh! I'm sorry to hear that Mr Virat Mishra! Indeed the universe is very mysterious. You lost your love at the same time when I found mine. If I'm not wrong, you must be referring to the floods which happened a few months ago right?" Ronnie asked

Virat's eyes darkened. He could feel his anger thrumming through his veins. He clenched his fists to swallow down his fury.

The words kept ringing in Virat's ears. It felt more like a twisting pain in his heart. In spite of all these emotions, his face gave away nothing.

For a few moments he didn't respond. So, Ronnie though he must be thinking about his lover.

After sometime, he regained his voice, "I'm sorry Mr Roy, you are right! Don't mind me asking, how is that you know about it?" Even Virat tried to probe Ronnie to get more information.

"Your Dean told me when I visited your University. That's how I got to know." Ronnie didn't divulge too much information.

Virat replied with an 'oh!'

Ronnie questioned him further, "Mr Virat Mishra, do you recognise my wife? She was a student of your college. She was in the same disaster we were talking about earlier."

Virat froze! His hand which was holding the tea cup was shivering.
