"Ahh so I was not mistaken . Your Master is a legend . " he replied with a silken smile, offering to help her to her feet . Kyera shook her head and offered a soft, sad smile . Her eyes moved to trace the lion's body beside her .
"I best stay here in case he has any trouble . " She reasoned politely . He went to speak when a little girls squeal of delight was heard . Kyera turned her head to see a little girl running toward her . Lavender and grey ribbons fluttering in the wind behind her like streamers in the wind .
"Warrior Lady Kyera!!!" Raina called out to her, carrying the little fairy in her silver cage . The iron having been changed out for the creature's comfort . The little girl's excitement made her forget about the little life she carried . That smile was infectious and Kyera found herself grinning as well .

"My, my little Princess, don't run . " Kyera called out to her with a chuckle . The palace was well made and the paths were well kept but little rocks and children's steps could easily cause a calamity . Obediently, the child slowed down and beamed at Kyera . They were eye to eye with Kyera on her knees .
"Oh… yes . My apologies . " Raina stumbled over the word a bit but offered another adorable smile to go with it . The excitement in her eyes made her absolutely glow . Black hair falling in intricate curls around her cheeks .
"You know the Princess?" Alexi asked raising a smooth eyebrow at his Niece's quick obedience to this woman . Kyera nodded looking up at the Second Prince from her knees . She was going to respond but a little voice interrupted her .
"Lady Kyera rescued me from bad men the other day . " Raina said matter of factly, her little face shyly embarrassed from needing to be rescues . The little fairy in the cage gripping the bars to steady herself from the bumpy ride . It had stopped breathing and was staring at Kyera, its eyes fixed unblinkingly at her . Kyera looked at the little thing in the cage . She recognized it as a lotus fairy right off and was fairly sure she knew why this little one was in a cage .
"Ahh so your the Warrior who risked everything to protect our princess, but then turned out to be a merchant?" he asked looking her over in a new light . Both a studier of the healing Magics and being a accomplished crafts woman was impressive in a world where women were more accessories than assets .
"Mmhm, Grandma likes her trinkets . " Raina added with a grin . It was a tidbit of information she had picked up when her father decided to inquire further into the Tigers Trinkets from the village .
"I am glad to hear that . However you seemed to be on a mission… could it be you may have brought someone to help me, hmm?" Kyera asks coaxingly, looking at the little bird cage .
The intricate silver bars made a beautiful elegant cage for the fairy caught within . Little details were etched and painted across the surface like magic energy twisting and swirling from the top . A single iron bead on the top was enough to negate the fairy's powers and ironically is where the magic flourishes on the metal traced back to . Raina nodded handing her the cage .
The fairy quivered in fear watching Kyera closely . The tigress could sense the thoughts of the fae . The scent of her magic tainted with the anger of the shadows . It was a tale tell sign of which child had landed it in a gilded cage . This lotud fairy had broken the codes . Codes older than the fairy clan itself and ignored Kyera's crest . No wonder the little thing trembled . It was Kyera, not her father this fairy had betrayed .
"Please don't hurt me miss…" the fairy begged . "I didn't know… honest… I am sorry . " the fairy's voice twinkled and sounded like little tittering birds to the others but Kyera knew her meaning . Years of listening to the shadows had taught her the languages if many fair folk as well as a dew less savory species .
"Enough tittering . I need fairy water . Get it now or my father will exact my Justice . " Kyera warned not having time for this thoughtless groveling . "There were no words to make up for a dishonorable heart, only actions for a lifetime to repay a debt . " Kyera warned the creature and the little fae became somber and hopeful .
"Yes Mistress of the Shadows . " the fairy agreed . Kyera fixed her with a warning glance before opening the double doors to the cage by its little nobs . The fairy nodded, bowed and flew away as soon as the door was opened . Kyera watched without emotion, she was sure the little creature would return, and soon .
