The System of a Vampire Chapter 125 - Attending Classes pt2

Draig had shown great interest in becoming a Head Hunter Deva, these were the Deva that could roam about freely and slay Demons before turning in their corpses for money. It wasn't as profitable as being a Deva enlisted with a Dynasty but it still allowed more freedom which is somethign Draig liked about the job.

The Dorm Leader however just couldn't believe that someone like Draig could even exist, who would want to spend their days as population control for Demons. He felt that the Feratu didn't understand that he would be forced to constantly battle Demons if he wanted to make a living at it, however he knew that he couldn't convince the Feratu. Hell he couldn't even force him to do anything.

While the Dorm Leader was lamenting his troubles Draig was going to check out the so called campus, it wasn't hard to find as it was obviously the most rickety looking building at the base of the mountain.

'You must be joking' thought Draig as he looked at this small campus that couldn't have been bigger than even the smallest of Guild Buildings. Staring at the wooden building that looked as if it was made from recycled materials the Feratu couldn't help but sigh.

However he had made his bed and now he must lay in it, with that thought Draig walked to door noticing that there wasn't anyone around until he walked inside and found that besides a few low end Deva there were very few students. His appearance had attracted the attention of these people causing some curiosity as they had never seen him before.

Though he left soon after finding the place to be nothing but a sham for anyone attempting to be a Deva.

"Who was that" asked a blonde haired girl looking towards her two friends.

"Oh do you have a crush Ami" chuckled a bubbly girl with green hair.

"Shut it Haruhi" growled Ami

Off to the side the third member of their Trio sat quietly staring at the door Draig had left through.

'What an odd Sword' thought the girl distractedly her sloth like aura apparent from just looking at her.

"Fumi? Hey Fumi, are you listening" called the one called Haruhi getting the girls attention as she looked towards her cheerful friend.

"Yes. . . ." asked Fumi her half lidded eyes focusing on the girl.

"What do you think about that guy" asked Haruhi with a tilt of her head.

"I .. don't know. . ." answered Fumi as she started laying her head back down.

"Should we investigate" asked Haruhi with a smile causing Ami to look at her oddly.

"Why would we want to investigate some random guy" asked Ami as she crossed her arms under her generous buxom.

"Because. . . He's new" smiled the bubbly girl.

Ami just shook her head as she looked towards Fumi who seemed like she was about to fall asleep, she thought about it for a bit. It wasn't like the teachers here were doing anything and it was better than just sitting around waiting for nothing.

"Fine ... let's follow him" stated Ami causing Haruhi to smile in a knowing way.

"I knew you had a crush" laughed Haruhi as the duo shook Fumi and told her their plan.

While this was happening Draig had just exited the building and was intent on leaving when he saw a student with a cruel smile waiting at the entrance.

"Halt, you know the drill. Pay the toll or you can't leave the campus" smirked the youth with a sash over his right arm displaying his position.

"Disciplinary committee" stated Draig causing the youth to laugh.

"I'm so glad that you can read, now back to business. Pay the toll or suffer the consequences" stated the Youth.

"Get lost, I am in no mood for your childish games" sighed Draig causing the youth to lose his smile.

"What was that, are you defying the Disciplinary Committee" asked the youth as his hand came to rest on a chain link sword.

Draig saw this motion and narrowed his eyes, he didn't wish to bother with this person but he wouldn't bow his head for the sake of this idiots delusions.

"I will give you one more chance mortal, move aside or I will take action" stated Draig which seemed to amuse the youth before him.

"You unaffiliated trash sure are getting cocky, since you want to play it this way then let's see what it looks like when you take action" chuckled the Youth as he drew the odd sword and a series of chains strung into a web manifested above him.

Draig narrowed his eyes and drew his Rapier causing the youth to laugh.

"What is that, ha ha. You really want to battle me using that flimsy little thing" roared the youth unable to contain his amusement.

As he spoke a brush manifested above Draig before imposing over his Rapier, taking an elegant stance Draig suddenly dashed towards the youth surprising him at the decisiveness of the move.

"Bad idea" smirked the youth as he swung his sword and the blade made from chain links seemed to extend outward causing Draig to duck under the strike before tapping the chain with his Rapier placing a subtle mark upon it.

The youth kept swing wildly causing the Chain link sword to continue extending creating a whirlwind of chains to lash at everything in sight leaving deep gouges in the ground and walls but Draig seemed unamused by the tactic as he dashed forward Rapier pointed directly at the youth unimpeded by the wild attack of his Chain link Sword.

The youth in question saw this and made an attempt to jump back thus stopping his attack which was a terrible move, this opened up the path for Draig allowing to dash forward quicker and plant several quick stabs on the youth's body causing him immense pain but there was no blood from the wounds causing him confusion.

"We are done here" stated Draig smoothly causing the youth to get back to his feet and glare with murder in his eyes.

"It's not done until I've eviscerated your arrogance" growled the youth until he suddenly found a symbol alighting on his chest forcing his limbs behind his back in a painful manner forcing him to yell out.

"If this is all the ruthless Deva of the Disciplinary Committee have to offer then I am severely disappointed, you didn't even scratch me let alone injure me" sighed Draig as he was aware that the only thing that had saved him from suffering at this youth's hands was the fact he had a superior physical ability and he cheated a bit by doing a partial transformation on his legs so he could finish it quickly.

Unknown to Draig who was distracted by the writhing youth on the ground the trio of ladies were watching him in interest.

"Told you it was a good idea to follow him, look at what he did to that jerk Tsukuba." smiled Haruhi with a righteous look.

Fumi on the other hand was looking at Draig with her eyes open fully for once.

'Cool. . .' thought the girl while Ami was just staring at Draig's imposing demeanor as he spoke.

'Is he a new faction leader' wondered the girl as she felt that it would be useful to align with someone who could handle a Disciplinary Committee member so simply even if it was only the bottom of the bucket.

"Too bad Tsukuba's brother is gonna kill him, he seemed really cool" sighed Haruhi reminding the remainder of the Trio that this wasn't over with just this.
