The Story of Dusk 3 XIAO JUN

Riana who heard that name peeked from Ye Xiu's chest. It was indeed Xiao Wang Wei the man who led the army to hunt them down and killed every single soul from Xinghe. He was Xiao Jun's cousin brother, and now as his parents ascended the throne he was the newly appointed Crown Prince to replace Xiao Jun. Riana heard there was domestic issues about this matter within their Country.

"Master Ye Xiu," Xiao Wang Wei drawled when he called his name, "Is it appropriate to hugging your little disciple in front of many people?"

"Sadly, I don't consider them as human," Ye Xiu smirked and continued, "Including you."

A fiery burned in Xiao Wang Wei eyes as he shouted, "You are going to die!"

And with Xiao Wang Wei cue tens arrows hurled at Ye Xiu and Riana direction. The sound of arrows that pierce trough the rain was the most horrible sound in this dreadful night.

With Ye Xiu sword he cut all of the arrows that coming to his way, no need to say that their arrows were so powerful. After all the arrows were toppled down on the ground the bright white glow from Ye Xiu's sword qi lingered in the air.

However before Ye Xiu could catch a breath the second wave of the arrows was released. He did the same to them, however he was a bit slow when an arrow slipped behind him and stabbed his back.

The wave of arrows stopped as he crouched down on the ground, breathless. His internal energy depleted significantly, because he had used it for the battle with infantry and cavalry of Azura before. Ye Xiu glanced at Riana, blood still gushing out from her wound and she was pale like a dead person. If it wasn't for her short breath against his neck, he would think that he had lost her.

"Still talking big now Master Ye?" Xiao Wang Wei gave a disdain look to his cousin brother's master. He despised everything about Xiao Jun. Only the moment he was bestowed as a Crown Prince that he could show it freely.

Xiao Wang Wei's sword skill didn't come from Mountain Sui Sword Sect, because he didn't qualify to enter Sword Sect that year. Every year, Mountain Sui Sword Sect would received young adult at age 17 to be their disciple and only the best 10 people could register. Added to this fact, Xiao Wang Wei hated Xiao Jun more. It was a pride to be a disciple from Mountain Sui Sword Sect after all.

So, given the opportunity of the situation between the 2 countries now, Xiao Wang Wei came up with an idea of destroying this place and arranged an attack toward Mountain Sui Sword Sect, his Imperial Father very agreed with this. It was easy enough, based on the fact that mostly their disciple was coming from Xinghe Kingdom, Emperor Xiao Zi had given him authority for led an army to burn down this ancient martial arts training ground.

"I am sorry for your loss, please accept my condolences." Xiao Wang Wei bent down his tall body slightly and laughed maniacally. "Don't worry I will spread your love story. So everyone would know how deep your affection towards your little disciple!"

Xiao Wang Wei's laugh mixed with the sound of thunder behind him. He assumed Riana who didn't move anymore was done for good, added to Ye Xiu indignant expression it made him delighted.

Suddenly, between his laugh a blasted sound was heard followed by a deafening sound from behind Xiao Wang Wei. The moment he turned his back a bright white glow of sword qi hit his back, forced him to kneel down.

A black robe man dashed past the guard, his sword that was as light as the wind, easily paved his way as he landed lightly beside Ye Xiu's side. The rain was still pouring down when he came but it didn't hinder his movement. He glanced down at Ye Xiu stabbing back and pulled an arrow that stuck on his right shoulder.

In one glanced Ye Xiu knew who that person was, as a smile curled in the corner of his lips. "You came." Ye Xiu said.

"Forgive me for being late, Master." The man talked in regret when he glanced down to Riana state. "Is she…"

"She just fainted." Ye Xiu finished his words.

The man sighed of relief was muffled in his mask.

"We have to go as fast as possible. Riana's wound must be treated immediately."

"Let's bring Riana to the west wing. I will open the way."

Xiao Wang Wei who just stood up, roared. "Who are you?! How dare you to hit this Crown Prince!" His eyes squinted dangerously as he tried to figure out who was the man with the black robe and mask. He tried to see trough the heavy rain, but didn't have any idea.

The black robe man stared back at him before he moved to attack the archer at the roof in order to paved way for the two people behind him. Ye Xiu stood up and tighten his gripped on Riana's unconscious body as he leapt and followed the black robe man closely.

In no time the Golden Arrow Archers who was surrounding them toppled to the ground one by one while the remaining archers were pursuing them.

Ye Xiu and his rescuer's move were so fast, despite the fog and the rain, they didn't have difficulty to seeing their way under this rainy night.

Soon, all the pursuers were left behind. Even the shadow of Ye Xiu and the black robe man couldn't be seen.

After they shook off their pursuer the black robe man guide Ye Xiu and Riana inside the west wing of the temple. They walked silently, but it didn't make them became negligent instead in this silent hallway they put their guard in high alert.

Looking at the bleeding back of Ye Xiu, the black robe man initiated to took over Riana, however Ye Xiu shook his head. "I am fine." He didn't let Xiao Jun to touch her, instead he asked. "Jun, how did you come here?"

Xiao Jun took off his mask and sighed helplessly to his Master persistent, the rumor about the relationship between his Master and Riana wasn't only rumor after all.

The black robe man from before was Xiao Jun, Ye Xiu's disciple and also the former Crown Prince from Azura Kingdom before Xiao Wu Xie's father ascended the throne to replace his dead brother.

Xiao Jun's beautiful figure was so dazzling in this damp and dark place. He has a warm personality, it was the first impression when other people saw him. The most attractive part from him was his smile, his harmless smile would make people disbelieve if he was a leader of thousand armies.

They arrived at the end of the hallway. There was nothing there, only a white brick wall. Xiao Jun walked to his left side and kicked the lowest second brick from the corner 4 times, the next second 3 row of the bricks at his right was moving and left a gap that big enough for them to pass trough.

Xiao Jun let his Master who was carrying Riana went inside first before he followed. Inside the room he pulled down the second torch at his left side and the brick door closed.

Almost at the same time the door closed, all the torch along the wall inside the big room were lit up. It was a round big dome that each wall had bookshelves that was covered by curtain. In the middle of the room there was a round table that could accommodate 30 people.

This was a secret meeting room of Mountain Sui Sword Sect, only the higher up knew about this place. Across the room there was another secret door behind the bookshelves as an exit door.

Xiao Jun tore the curtain that covered a big bookshelf and laid it down on the ground before He help Ye Xiu to put Riana down on it.

"I knew that Xiao Wang Wei initiated this attack toward our Sword Sect. but, I don't have any idea how to contact you Master. People went crazy out there about destroying Xinghe Kingdom." Xiao Jun answered his Master previous question with a bitter smiled on his lips.

"Xiao Zhong was a wise sovereign who is loved by many people." Ye Xiu tried to dry Riana's body from soaking under the rain with the other curtain that Xiao Jun handed to him. "It wasn't Xinghe Kingdom who murdered your parents."

Xiao Jun stared at the way Ye Xiu wiped Riana wet hair, he was very gentle. His Master was put a lot of care on her wounded left arms as he tried to stop the bleeding with his internal energy.

Realized Xiao Jun didn't answer him yet, Ye Xiu raised his head only to found him was staring blankly at Riana pale face. "She will be fine." Ye Xiu mumbled softly. She must be fine!

"I know." Xiao Jun retracted his eyes from Riana's pale face as he crouched down across Ye Xiu, on the other side of Riana.

"You know she will be fine or you know the murder wasn't Xinghe Kingdom?" Ye Xiu tried to confirm his answer.

"Both." Xiao Jun sighed tiredly while he bowed his head, staring the ground beneath him. He wanted to help his Master to treat Riana, however knowing the relationship between them Ye Xiu wouldn't let him off if he insisted to touch his Junior sister.

"It is a deep conspiration…" Ye Xiu concluded.

"I know." Xiao Jun replied weakly.

Upon hearing his disciple dispirited answer he glared at him. "Raise your head young man! After 2 two years I don't see you, why are you become weak like this!?" Ye Xiu roared. He didn't like the way Xiao Jun behave now. His roared startled Xiao Jun as he abruptly raised his head and smile softly at him.

"Don't smiling at me!" Ye Xiu snapped at him and drew back his attention to Riana's wound while Xiao Jun was giggling.

Ye Xiu knew, this disciple of him wasn't an aggressive type. He was someone who appreciated a good strategy over fighting skill, but it didn't mean he was a soft hearted person. He could kill his enemy while smiling sweetly. In terms of fighting skill, he wasn't sloppy as well. After all, Elder Dam was his first Master before he entered the Mountain Sui Sword Sect.

"How is Xiao Tianyao doing?"
