The Story of Dusk 296 THE PERSON WHO MADE THE ANTIDOTE

"That's so fast!" Senja was surprised, she also stood up and wiped her hand from the remaining ointment. "What should we do?"

Gong Xu wanted to correct Senja's word, it wasn't 'we' but it was 'he' only, but seeing the worry in Senja's eyes he didn't say it.

"Let's think about that latter." Gong Xu brushed off the topic.

"I am glad to hear that…" Senja smiled.

Of course it would work, it was the inventor himself who had concocted it, how the result would be different?

"You make grandfather proud of you my child!" Elder Dam wrapped Senja into a big bear hug as his face beamed with happiness. He would never have thought, it was his own granddaughter who would help him in his critical condition like this. "Grandfather is so proud of you!"

"And here the antidote that L clan will distribute tomorrow." Xiao Jun put down a white bottle on the table, which contain the antidote for the disease.

"Thank you." Senja took the bottle and held it in her hand. "I will check what this antidote. I will let you know as soon as possible."

"Thank you for your help Young Miss Senja, sorry for the trouble." Xiao Jun said politely.

"Your words are too heavy Prince Xiao Jun." Senja replied humbly. "Oh, there is one thing that I want to let you know, the time needed for concocting the antidote is one full day, so I don't think we will be able to give this to the public the day after tomorrow, not to mention that this will be a huge scale of production."

Xiao Tianyao, who since the beginning didn't say anything about this kept staring at Senja, his eyes were fierce as if he was holding himself back.

"Not only that, I will need the help of many doctors to be able to produce a lot of antidote." Senja explain.

She said exactly what Gong Xu had told her and gave a few suggestions into the conversation before she excuse herself and went out of the room.

Senja was walking toward the direction of the library while holding the antidote that Xiao Jun had given her when Xiao Tianyao caught up with her.

"Who made the antidote?" Xiao Tianyao asked her directly without much of greeting, he stood right before Senja, blocked her way.

"Don't you know that I am the one who had made this antidote? Why do you ask?" Senja said sternly, she faced him defensively as she folded her arms around her chest.

"It's not you, young miss Senja…" Xiao Tianyao said firmly. "It's not you who made the antidote." His voice turned rigid.

"What do you mean with that Prince Xiao Tianyao?" Senja was squinted her eyes, now she got better doing this as she tried to not let herself to be intimidated. "Do you think I am not capability to create antidote like this?"

Suddenly Xiao Tianyao let out an eerie laugh, the kind of laugh that could make one shivered down their spine.

"Do you really think you can fool me?" Xiao Tianyao stared down at the girl before his eyes. "I have told you before… I have seen this kind of disease and the only person who can cure it, because it was created by him."

Senja blinked her eyes rapidly as she could feel her legs were growing weak. "Just because you can't create the antidote by yourself, doesn't mean everyone has the same limit like you." Senja gritted her teeth and clenched her fist to give herself the strength that she needed. "I guess that man that you know must be a genius, just like me."

With that sharp remark, Senja walked past Xiao Tianyao arrogantly.

"It is Gong Xu, right?" Xiao Tianyao stated. "The man who made the antidote."

"I don't know him." Senja said without even stopped walking.

"Young Miss Senja…" Xiao Tianyao scoffed. "You will reach the point where you need to stop your innocent act."

Senja turned around and faced him, her expression was exceptionally calm as she said slowly. "And you need to stop being arrogant Prince Xiao Tianyao, because reality is sometime not the same as you see. Try to see it closer and you will find the truth."

Senja hinted his memory loss, as she couldn't possibly to blurt out the truth without exposed Gong Xu.

"Don't talk to me about the truth, you had not yet seen what I had seen." Xiao Tianyao felt like he wasn't talking to a thirteen years old girl, but was arguing with a grown up woman instead.

"And you don't know the truth that I know…" Senja replied. "Don't waste your time to chase after the wrong person." She said with finality before she turned around and walked away as her white dress fluttered around her feet.

Senja knew, once the antidote was proven successful, Xiao Tianyao would realize this and became more suspicious toward her, also the fact that Gong Xu was nearby.

Not only that, the Emperor and Modama would also learn about this, it was like inviting bunches of assassins to their house, once this antidote made public, they would be an easy target.

However, it was worth it if this mean Gong Xu could ruin Modama and The Emperor's plan, and also saved thousand life along with the black sword clan's name.

But, Xiao Tianyao didn't know about that, he couldn't even remember what exactly happen that day when Luna was killed.

The only person in his memory and the only man who was there; was Gong Xu.

Thus, throughout these three years, he had been chasing after him relentlessly without single news about him.

And now, when he got a wind about his whereabouts, of course Xiao Tianyao wouldn't let it slip easily. Regardless what he was doing here or the fact that he helped the crisis that they faced, he wanted to confront him.

If the one who had made the antidote was really Gong Xu. He has slightly doubt now, because how Senja could associate herself with Gong Xu?
