The Story of Dusk 294 COUNTERATTACK PLAN

Xiao Jun turned around and found Senja was standing behind a book shelf while staring at him, she was wearing her white dress like usual.

However the thing that he couldn't understand was, how she could be there? Xiao Jun was very sure no one was there before.

"Prince Xiao Jun is looking for me?" Senja asked politely, but her eyes glanced at the door. She still curious why those guards allowed this prince to come into the library.

"Yes, there is one or two things that I want to ask you, if young miss Senja doesn't mind." Xiao Jun said politely as his eyes followed Senja's eyes. "I said to your guards that Elder Dam had ordered me to look for you, hence they allowed me to come inside directly. I hope you will not mind with this also."

As if Xiao Jun could read Senja's mind, he voiced out her curiosity precisely.

Upon hearing that, Senja shook her head and faintly smiled. "No, I don't mind. Prince Xiao Jun could ask me anything." Senja gestured for Xiao Jun to follow her.

At the corner of the library there were two seats and a small round table with various foods atop of it.

"Please…" Senja waved to the seat opposite her.

"Thank you." Xiao Jun nodded slightly. Regardless her young age, Senja's attitude and the way she carried herself was more mature than girl around her age.

After both of them had sat down, Senja started the conversation and found Xiao Jun was's attitude was way more pleasant than his younger brother.

"What can I help you with, Prince Xiao Jun?" Senja brew tea for both of them. "I will try to answer it."

Xiao Jun smiled politely and started to talk. "Right, let's skip the formality." He liked Senja's forth- rightness. "I heard from Commander Dam that you have found the antidote, may I know how you found it?"

Senja blinked her eyes. "I think I have explained this to grandfather."

"Yes, Commander Dam had told me about that. But, I want to hear it directly from you." Xiao Jun said calmly.

"It will be the same boring explanation Prince Xiao Jun." Senja dislike to repeat her words especially the one that she knew was created by another person, gave her the same nervousness.

"I am sure I will not get boring to hear it, with a cup of tea I will not get boring." Xiao Jun glanced at the cup in Senja's hand.

At least he wasn't as annoying as Xiao Tianyao…

With that Senja repeated the same thing that she had told her grandfather while answered Xiao Jun's question in between.

Fortunately Gong XU had thought her everything, so she could answer that precisely and didn't rise any suspicion from Xiao Jun.

"If it is possible, I want to ask a sample of antidote that L clan had made." Senja ended her explanation with the thing that Gong Xu had asked her.

"I will get the sample." Xiao Jun agreed readily as he sipped his tea. "The price that L clan asked is indeed too high compare to price of the ingredients that you have mentioned." He made a calculation.

"Yes. Their price is nonsense." Senja slightly grumble and that made Xiao Jun chuckled.

"I am agreed." Xiao Jun nodded.

"But to cure the entire nation, we will need a lot of raw material of the certain herbal plants." Senja reminded Xiao Jun.

The rain started to pour down when they talked.

Xiao Jun gave some thought about that, but then he smiled. "Don't worry about that, I know someone who can help." Greenhill Mountain should have abundance of that herbal plant.

"It's great then." Senja happy to hear that. "But, no matter what, we still need a lot of money to produce the antidote for the entire nation, we need to calculate the price that we will give to the public, but the problem is, what if the Emperor refuses to help and insist to use L clan's resources?" Senja voiced out her concerned.

"We will not sell it to the public." Xiao Jun said solemnly.

"Not sell it?" Senja was surprised and also confused with his decision. "But, though the raw material that I suggested don't cost as much as L clan's, but we still have to produce the antidote in large scale and it will need a lot of money."

Her opinion was make senses, but…

"I will fund this." Xiao Jun said generously. "We will give the antidote to the people for free."

Senja silence for a while, as she thought about this thoroughly before she smiled and clapped her hand. "You are a true schemer Prince Xiao Jun." She chuckled.

"I will take that as a compliment, Young Miss Sonja." Xiao Jun laughed and gulped down his tea.

Xiao Jun was indeed a true schemer.

How could Senja forgot how rich this prince was. He and his brother own many businesses throughout the nation, if he wasn't a prince he would be a successful merchant.

Not only that.

This plan also served as Xiao Jun's way to slap the Emperor right on his face. By recruited L clan and agreed with their high price antidote, the Emperor wanted to show Elder Dam and Xiao Jun incapability and degrade them in front of the public.

But, with the antidote that Senja had found, no, it was Gong Xu, the public's favor would be in Xiao Jun's side, this move could show how greedy the Emperor and L clan as they had said that it was the only cure.

In another word, only rich people could buy it and the rest would be left to die, while the middle class people would need to sell everything that they have, like property and land.

In long run, this event would make the price of lands were decreasing, in this state the Emperor could ask someone to buy them all and make it as his own assets.

"We will publicly announce our antidote a day after the antidote from L clan." Xiao Jun said. "Let the Emperor focus on his own plan first."

"I think that's the right time also." Senja nodded in agreement.

"However…" Xiao Jun's expression turned serious. "I want to test your antidote first, whether it was the right one or not, we will find out about it after that."

"Very fair." She agreed. "I will start the moment I have the raw material with me."

"I have asked someone to find all the material that you needed, probably it will come around this afternoon." Xiao Jun had everything prepared. "Where do you want to make the antidote?"

"I am used to be in this library, so I would like to make the antidote here." Senja said readily.

"Very well, I will ask someone to bring all the material here." Xiao Jun stood up. "There is anything else that you need? Do you need any help from the physician."

Senja shook her head and rejected it politely. "No, I would like to work alone."

"All right, if there is nothing else, I will take my leave." Xiao Jun said.

"Thank you for your help Prince Xiao Jun." Senja also stood up.

"The pleasure is mine Young Miss Senja." And with that Xiao Jun walked out of the library, but before that he glanced at the book shelf that he had saw Senja for first time.

Just like what Xiao Tianyao had said, this library was suspicious.
