What happened with this girl again? Gong Xu thought and walked to approach her.
"Do you feel hurt anywhere?" He asked with concern. "I have told you to eat your porridge and then your medicine, so you will recover sooner." Gong Xu slightly scolded her, if it took long time for her to recuperate, then his business would be delayed longer.
"No, just a bit headache." Senja shook her head and wiped her tears. She had been through something like this before when Uncle Ye Xiu left her behind. No matter how she begged him to stay, he just wouldn't listen.
Gong Xu would be the same, right? Thus, what the point?
"Come. Finish this." Gong Xu took the bowl of porridge that she ate before.

There was storm that brew inside the Black Sword Clan's mansion.
Elder Dam ran amok liked a madman by the news that he was heard, put aside all the military matter that he needed to attend, he dashed toward M city district 10.
The first person who he wanted to see was Carye. The evil woman who had charmed his son and made him became irrational.
"Father, Carye will not dare to do something like that." Wang Yu tried to appease his livid father.
"Shut up!!!" Elder Dam roared as he glared viciously at his son. "Do you think Senja will go out of the mansion, if no one brought her away?! She left with your evil wife the moment she disappeared!!"
He knew that Carye didn't like Senja, but he would have never thought that woman would make a bold move like this! She really courted death!
"Father, calm yourself first. We need to ask her, what exactly happened to Senja." Wang Yu clenched his fist to suppress his emotion.
Carye was indeed had made a very brazen moved by doing this.
"What else I have to ask!?" Elder Dam seethed. "Senja is your daughter! Why are you so calm when you know your daughter is missing?!"
Wang Yu couldn't answer that. He was also at lost when he heard about this news. He had warned Carye to not attract his father's attention by doing something so vivid on Senja, however that woman was simply didn't hear him.
She always complained about how Senja reminded her about her late sister and she didn't like that. It felt like her sister was cursing her through Senja.
Wang Yu had explained it again and again that she could just simply ignored the girl, becaue he also didn't fond of his own daughter, but he couldn't bear to offend his father… yet.
He wanted a son! But, until now Carye was still not conceived their child and sometime this made him frustrated.
Only if Carye had a son, Elder Dam wouldn't be so hard to be dealt with. The elder wouldn't be able to refuse to give the Black Sword Clan to him.
Wang Yu was aware that his father was reluctant to give up the leadership of this clan to him, because both of them was often had different vision.
Sometime, in the way he talked, he would imply that the leadership of the clan would be given onto Senja's husband, rather than his own son.
It was uncommon to skip the next generation for a leadership, but that reason alone wouldn't make Elder Dam stopped his plan. He had thought about that the moment when he was about to marry Carye, because Wang Yu's ambition was a danger for their clan, that was what Elder Dam thought.
Elder Dam didn't wait for Wang Yu to answer him, as he didn't need that, the only thing in his head now was to find Carye and ripped a confession out of her vicious mouth about his granddaughter's whereabouts.
He had sent a bunch of Shadow Guard to find even a tiny bit information about Senja and they would come soon with the news, but he had to make sure Carye learned her lesson, very hard.
Elder Dam stormed toward Wang Yu and Carye's courtyard. He was the owner of this mansion, so he didn't need to announce his presence beforehand.
He didn't care about manner, no, when the life of his granddaughter was at stake! Showing manner to a woman like Carye was a waste of time, she didn't deserve that!
From afar Elder Dam could see Carye with her two daughters, Rindi and her older sister, Hikari.
A wary smile grazed Carye's red lips as she started to wail the moment she stood in front of Elder Dam, her tears fell, like a broken dam, on her cheeks.
"Father… Senja…" Carye started to sob. "This is all my fault because of my lack…"
PAAKKK!
Carye's anxious words was cut off by the abrupt and harsh slap across her face, the woman fell on the floor ungraciously by the strength that Elder Dam had exerted.
Hikari and Rindi couldn't do anything when they saw their mother was being treated like that all of sudden. They covered their mouth in shock before they approached their mother.
"Grandfather, what you have done to our mother…?!" Hikari wailed as she knelt beside Carye, who apparently too shock to discern the situation.
Carye felt something was trickled down from the corner of her lips as she absentmindedly wiped it, it was blood. Elder Dam had slapped her without holding back.
"Don't call me 'grandfather'!" Elder Dam was furious by the way Hikari addressed him. "I have only one granddaughter and it would never be you!"
"Father…" Carye felt her lips was split when she tried to talk! The pain was no joke! "Don't be angry to them, this is all my fault…"
Carye was still trying to continue her act as she hugged Hikari protectively as if Elder Dam would lose his mind and killed her daughter instead.
"I will do anything to amend my mistake…" Carye sobbed because her face was truly hurt like hell!
"Good!" Elder Dam nodded as a disgusting smile appeared on his lips. "I want you to get out from this mansion!!!"
