The Story of Dusk 25 THE LAST SURVIVOR OF THE MIND CONTROLLER

Xiao Jun, Liu Wei and the other two of his subordinates had been successfully trespassing the border line of The Kingdom of Azura, when they split their way.

Liu Wei brought the 2 people with him to heading north, where The Kingdom of Xinghe's orphanage shelter located to deliver Xiao Jun message for Ye Xiu, while Xiao Jun ran his horse to the direction where Xiao Tianyao's army continued to besiege the fourth City of Xinghe.

It was took more than 10 days for Xiao Jun to reach Xiao Tianyao location from The Capital City and slipped in his tent. He was from military as well, although he was very rare in the battlefield. Wasn't like his younger brother. However, it wasn't a big deal for him to come quietly without noticing anyone.

He was sitting leisurely when Xiao Tianyao walked inside the tent with shocked expression upon seeing Xiao Jun had been waiting for him.

"What are you doing here!?" Xiao Tianyao snapped at him.

"That's how you greet me after we weren't able to see each other for this past half year?" Xiao Jun frowned in displeased.

"If that's all you wanted to say, please leave before I ask someone to escort you back to the Capital City." Xiao Tianyao said lightly before he took a seat beside him.

"Ck, my brother is heartless person." Xiao Jun words regarded Xiao Tianyao's glared. He coughed for a while before turned serious. "I have some news."

"I am sure you have."

"I need you to take down Xinghe."

"For your information, just in case if you didn't know," Xiao Tianyao raised his brows. "I am working on it now."

"Yeah, I know but before that I need you to come with me."

"Where?"

"To Mountain Sui Sword Sect."

"For?"

"There is something I want to tell you and show you."

"I can't leave. You know I can't leave this place, Elder Dam will kicking a fuss about this. Since you already go against him, it wouldn't be good for our side to lose his trust. The support from His Black Sword Clan is very important for us now."

"I know, but this matter is important as well." Xiao Jun insisted.

"Tell me what is it and I will see if that worth it or not." Xiao Tianyao folded his arms as he leaned his body against the back of the seat, waiting for Xiao Jun explanation.

"Do you remember about the son of the last mind controller that our grandfather killed 62 years ago?"

"Hmm, his body was disappeared when the execution ended."

"He survived."

"I guessed it." Xiao Tianyao said lightly. Since no one could find his dead body, the possibility for the boy has survived was quite high.

"His name is Modama, he is a mind controller like his father and he is the leader of Misty Cloud Clan" Xiao Jun looked at his younger brother with mixed feeling.

Their grandfather had massacred all the mind controllers and Modama was the only survival from them. Now, Modama joined hand with The Kingdom of Azura current Emperor, Xiao Zi, to kill his late father so Xiao Zi could usurp the throne.

"I am not sure with the involvement of Xinghe Emperor in this turbid water. Whether Uncle Xiao Zi was in his right mind when he killed our parents or it was his own will, there was no evidence for both reasons." Xiao Jun answered Xiao Tianyao questioned, even though he didn't ask it yet.

"Not only Xinghe, if Modama was the last survivor of the mind controller, then he wouldn't stop until Azura is destroyed as well." Xiao Tianyao muttered his opinion.

Xiao Jun nodded in agreement. It wasn't hard to pull the string between these messy situations. "I need you to meet someone. Therefore, you need to come with me, in this point Xinghe would be destroyed within months."

"You can't do anything to save this situation Jun." Xiao Tianyao warned him.

He shook his head and spoke tiredly. "No, like I told you I came to ask you to destroy it."

If The Kingdom of Xinghe was under Modama controlled then it was useless even if miraculously he find a way to save that Kingdom, not to mention he didn't have it.

"I will find a way to leave." Xiao Tianyao concluded.

In the middle of the night both brothers left to heading toward the ruins of Mountain Sui Sword Sect. Xiao Tianyao gave the command of those soldiers to Utara as he left in haste.

At the moment they arrived at the other side of the Mountain where the original of the Sword Sect's entrance gate located, there were two other people who had been waiting for them.

Xiao Tianyao recognized one of them as Ye Xiu, his brother Master in the Sword Sect, but he didn't know about the other one.

Xiao Jun and Xiao Tianyao get off from their horses and walked toward the two people.

"Master." Xiao Jun bowed respectfully while Xiao Tianyao only slightly bent his body. "Ye Bai," Xiao Jun called the other man.

The man who called Ye Bai didn't heed Xiao Jun's greeted. "I am sorry for your lost." Xiao Jun continued in voice full of sorrow.

Still the man ignored him as he crouched on the ground and leaned his back against the obsolescent gate.

"He will be fine." Ye Xiu said in low voice and sighed deeply.

Ye Bai had been like that ever since they buried Su Zhang Li and Ye Qing's dead body. Initially, he didn't want to put another trouble on his younger brother shoulder, however he still need Ye Bai in this matter.

Xiao Tianyao gave Xiao Jun an inquiry looked. "He lost his wife and son." Xiao Jun muttered.

"Master, have you got in touch with Prince Qi Xunyi?" Xiao Jun asked.

"Yes, Prince Qi Xunyi had confirmed about the involvement of the Emperor of Xinghe regarding the murder of your parents, but…" Ye Xiu replied in hesitation.

"But?" Xiao Tianyao probed.

"But, he still not sure if his Imperial Father was under hypnosis or not. He still need time to verify it."

"We run out of time now, we can't give him more than this." Xiao Jun said in grievances.
