When they saw their Emperor, all of them lowered their head and rested their head on the ground while whimpering and shouting the justice on behalf of the Emperor.

Mo Qin Yi, followed behind him leisurely, he was wearing a black color outer robe with dragon embroidered on his back that stitched with golden thread, he looked handsome and full with dignity he didn't say a word and only stood in silence during Mo Qian Yuan speech.

It didn't take long time for Mo Qian Yuan to decide to give up his son and the imperial concubine Lin Xinyang and fulfilled all the officials demanded to hang them on the palace wall.

This decision made them cheered in joy s they thought Mo Qian Yuan had done a right thing.

As for Lin Xinyang, ever since she had married to Mo Qian Yuan, she was belong to the Rockstone Kingdom, so he could punish her as per the Rockstone Kingdom's rule.

Mo Qian Yuan only being generous when he gave a chance for the Emperor of Zodasian Kingdom to meet with Lin Xinyang for the last time before she was executed. He only gave the other Emperor a face. At the very last, he was still his father.

Moreover, The Emperor of Zodasian also didn't object the demand from Mo Qian Yuan's officials, he wanted for his unfilial daughter to be hung immediately so the rumor about her illicit relationship wouldn't be able to reach Zodasian Kingdom's territory. In the end, he only thought about himself and his image in front of his people.

After the cheer, the moment Mo Qian Yuan was about to leave the place, he felt something sharp went through his body that followed by the shrill screamed and people gasped loudly while shouting incoherent words that Mo Qian Yuan hardly could catch.

He felt warm on his chest along with the pain that suffocated his breath and the moment he looked down, he saw blood had oozed from an arrow that pierced his chest. The blood as red as his robe that wetted his front.

Mo Qian Yuan's vision started to get blurry as he felt the strength on his body left him and his legs gave away.

Among all the commotion and buzzing sound, there was only one familiar face that he could see.

Mo Qin Yi swiftly caught his imperial father limply body and hugged him closer to him, he was shouting about something to the people around them before he gave his entire focus on the bloody person in his arms.

"… Qin Yi…" Mo Qian Yuan wanted to talk about something when he felt blood on his mouth and clogged his throat, instead of words it was blood that was coming out from hie mouth.

"Sssh." Mo Qin Yi hissed in Mo Qian Yuan's ears as he lowered his head and whispered the last words for his father. "You can rest in peace now father, let me fulfill your dream." He said.

And Mo Qian Yuan saw that vicious smile on his son's lips as his eyes widened in understanding, however it was too late for him to say anything or did something to preserve his life as he felt the numbness on his chest spread to his entire body and his eyelids started to get heavy.

It was all his son doing? The prince that he had appointed to be his next successor, the man that he had taught all of his schemes and ploy.

In the end he chose to use it against his own father?!

Mo Qian Yuan didn't believe it. But, seeing the thirst of power in Mo Qin Yi's eyes, he knew that was the true, he had been rising a snake that bit the hand that fed him.

When the imperial guard help Mo Qin Yi to bring his father body to the Emperor's bedroom, he knew that Mo Qian Yuan was no longer could survive. There would be no one could save him, even the best doctor as he was sure the Emperor no longer breathe and his heart beat had long gone.

Apparently, one of the servant had informed about this to the Empress as she was literally running toward the Emperor courtyard with pale face.

The moment the Empress saw his son, he hugged him tightly and asked him what had happened.

Mo Qin Yi started to recite the event earlier as he asked his mother to sit down and to calm down herself.

It was a quick occasion when suddenly an arrow was released from somewhere and shot straight into the Emperor's chest after he finished his speech in front of those officials, who had been kneeling all night in front of the imperial hall.

The perpetrator was still missing, but Mo Qin Yi had sent bunches of imperial guard to find who the culprit was. It was only a matter of time before they found out who it was and punished them severely for the unforgiveable crime that they had committed.

All the doctor from imperial physician was summoned, the initial serene courtyard turned crowded with many people were busy running south, north , west and east to ask for help, to revive the already dead body of the Emperor, but the resulted was naught.

One of the imperial physician stepped out of the room with head hung very low until it touched his chest.

"We had tried our best, but the Emperor has gone." The leader of the Imperial physician was an old man with white hair and beard, he looked older than the Emperor and was in deep grieve.

All the servantd and the Empress fell to the ground, weeping in tears, calling out Mo Qian Yuan's name as if it could make him alive.

The scene was truly heartbroken when they were crying for the same person at the same time.

However, even thougt Mo Qin Yi's face was scrunched in grieve, but there was no tears that came out from his eyes as he hugged his mother as if he had predicted all of this.

Actually instead of grievances, there was fleeting of happiness and satisfied look in his eyes. He sighed in relief that all of this ended up the way he wanted.

"Everything will alright…" Mo Qin Yi patted his mother back that shuddered in her sadness.

She didn't really love the Emperor, but she had been living as his wife for more than two decades and raised their children together. It was a pity that the Emperor had to leave this world like this.

"Long live the Emperor." Among the weeping sound of tears and their grievances, a voice that neither loud nor strong, broke the atmosphere, followed by a soft thud when that person was kneeling and gave Mo Qin Yi the utmost respect. "May the new Emperor live thousand and thousand years."

That person was Ye Ling, Mo Qin Yi's personal guard. He was kneeling in front of him followed by the other guards behind him.

The palace of Rockstone Kingdom was hit with a great blow the moment they announced that the Emperor Mo Qian Yuan had passed away and now the crown prince Mo Qin Yi would take the throne and though the coronation of him to be the new Emperor was not yet held, but because the Emperor position shouldn't be empty, they still thought of Mo Qin Yi as the Emperor even without the coronation.

The moment he was crowned and wore the dragon robe, Mo Qin Yi held an emergency meeting with his officials, of course these officials that crowded the imperial hall were from his faction.

The news was traveling fast.

When Xiao Jun heard about this, he was accompanying Qianru to walk in the yard while talking about trivial things and teased each other, seemingly unaware of the turbulence that was brewing behind the wall where they were.

It was Feng Jin who came to give Xiao Jun the information.

The young guard lowered his head and recite the detail of even that was happening in the imperial hall. "… Someone shot the Emperor Mo Qian Yuan when he finished his speech in front of the official and only just now, they announced that the Emperor has passed away." Feng Jin said in grievances as if there was another thing that bother him.

"The Emperor Mo Qian Yuan has passed away you said?" Qianru's voice a bit louder than she wanted to as a predicament flooded her mind.

The same bad feeling that Xiao Jun felt right now. If Mo Qian Yuan had passed away, then the next line for the Emperor's throne would be…"… And the Emperor now is…"

"The crown Prince Mo Qin Yi had been appointed as the Emperor and is holding an emergency meeting in the palace hall." Feng Jin said hurriedly.

"Meeting in the palace hall?" Xiao Jun frowned, it was only an Emperor who had the right to hold a meeting in the palace hall, even if Mo Qin Yi was the rightfully crown prince he wouldn't be able to do that until his coronation.

"Yes, Prince Xiao Jun. All the official agreed to overlook the coronation and directly appointed him as the Emperor, because the position couldn't be left empty." Feng Jin reported about the thing that he had heard from all those people.

"Impossible…" Qianru muttered in disbelief, Mo Qin Yi as the Emperor would be a nightmare came true for their existence here. "Jun…"

"Go back to our room and wear warm clothes." Xiao Jun caressed Qianru's cheek. "We will leave this place." He said.

Seeing the seriousness of the situation, Qianru nodded her head and didn't ask another question before she walked back to her room, looking for Jinse on her way.

"Ask Prince Mo Xuan Fei to meet me." Xiao Jun ordered Feng Jin before he realized something. "Wehre is Liu Wei?"

Liu Wei supposed to be the person who relayed this report to him, not Feng Jin. At first, because of the shocking news, Xiao Jun didn't realize it, but now, he found it odd for having Feng Jin to attend to him.

Feng Jin's anxiousness was palpable now as he hastily explained about what had happened when he was in mission with Leader Liu Wei. "Leader Liu Wei asked me accompany him to gather more information about Prince Mo Qin Yi and his involvement in this rumor, we found out that Prince Mo Qin Yi was indeed behind all of this when someone discovered us and we went separate way."

Feng Jin couldn't hide his worried for his leader after all, Liu Wei had let their chaser to chase after him so he could save himself, but until now he couldn't find his whereabouts that was the last time he saw him.

"Liu Wei is nowhere to be found?" Xiao Jun's brows knitted together. Liu Wei would return if he felt it was already safe, but the fact he was still hiding, it more likely because he didn't feel save yet or… he was caught by the enemy.

"Yes Master." Feng Jin nodded his head vigorously. "I have been looking for Leader Liu Wei, but couldn't find him anywhere, not even in the place where we were separated."

Xiao Jun slanted his eyes as he looked at the distance where the imperial hall's location.

"Is they had found out the murderer of the Emperor Mo Qian Yuan?" Xiao Jun asked in hasitation as the understanding dawn on him.

Feng Jin shook his head. "No, they are still chasing after the culprit."

Suddenly Xiao Jun clenched his hand into a tight fist as his facial expression darkened and his voice became stern and distance. "Get me Prince Mo Xuan Fei now."

"Yes, Master." Feng Jin hurriedly disappeared from Xiao Jun line of sight like ghost was chasing after him. The anger that suddenly appeared on his master's face was very scary as he didn't know why his Master suddenly turned that way.

Xiao Jun wanted to go berserk as he realized where this would lead him. Mo Qin Yi was a total loser and he would like to rip that prince apart with his bare hand.

Xiao Jun rarely got angry, but he would be so mad if someone messed with his people and he knew very sure, what Mo Qin Yi would do next. It was an easy ploy that he had thought about.

And Xiao Jun cursed himself for not being able to see this coming in time, he had put his focus on Mo Qian Yuan solely and neglected the fact that Mo Qin Yi would have this guts to pull out this scheme. He was totally a vicious person to go to the extra length for this power.

It didn't take Xiao Jun long time to wait for Mo Xuan Fei arrival, because in the next minute, the Prince had been running toward him, the grimy look on his face told Xiao Jun that he had understood what was happening in the palace.

"I think I will need your secret passage way." Xiao Jun greeted him the moment he had stood in front of him.

"I have found it." Mo Xuan Fei announced it as a replied. "And Lin Xinyang also had gained her conscious."

"Great." Xiao Jun answered it curtly before both of them walked toward the direction that Mo Xuan Fei said the secret passage way was located.

The secret passageway was inside the dinning room that was very rare to use as most of the time Xiao Jun and Qianru would take their meal inside the pavilion or inside their own room. They didn't like the environment of this dinning room, too gloomy for their taste.

"Here?" Xiao Jun asked while looking at his surrounding, trying to figure out where was the door to the secret passage way.

"Here." Mo Xuan Fei walked toward the wall and knocked on it.

The wall was covered with red intricate carpet, which function to cover half of the wall and act as a display to live up the room, however it was totally a fail as the room was still with it gloominess.

"Behind this display carpet?" Xiao Jun looked at the exquisite embroider of the carpet. "Where is the door?"

"Since my Mo Qian Yuan ascended the throne and became the Emperor, he was no longer visiting my mother and even moved her from this courtyard. Since then, they redecorated this place and closed the secret passage way's door behind this. We just need to destroy this wall." Mo Xuan Fei said lightly.

"How do you know where is the right place to be destroyed?" Xiao Jun crossed his arms in front of his chest when he asked, if Mo Xuan Fei only gave him a random guess about where the exact place they needed to be destroyed, he was afraid they needed to tear down the entire place and it wouldn't be a good idea, given to their current situation.

"Here, try to knock over here." Mo Xuan Fei pointed a spot on the wall and asked Xiao Jun to knock it. "Listen to the sound that it produced." He told him to take his ear closer.

Xiao Jun followed his instruction and listened to the sound from the wall.

"And knocked the spot over here." He said again and pointed at different spot a little bit away from the first spot.

Xiao Jun did the same and then understood what Mo Xuan Fei was trying to tell him.

"The sounds are different." He said precisely.

"Yes, because the first spot has the secret passage way behind it and the sound echoed behind it tunnel." He said with smirked on his face.

"Good job." Xiao Jun patted his shoulder. "Now you can destroy it." He said lightly.

"Wait, won't you help me?" Mo Xuan Fei's smirk faded away as he watched Xiao Jun was about to leave.

"I have another matter to be settled before I leave." Xiao Jun didn't even turn back when he answered him.

However, Xiao Jun had not yet left the dinning room and Mo Xuan Fei had not yet cursed him back, when suddenly Feng Jin ran and told them the recent information that he got. "They had caught the murderer of the Emperor Mo Qian Yuan!"
