Even though he could face those guards, but it didn't mean he could escape this situation unscathed, it was impossible.
Meanwhile, inside the study room, a guard was kneeling and shivering under Mo Qian Yuan's eyes. He just reported the detail about what was happening outside, but the Emperor had not said anything since five minutes ago.
The poor guard was not dare enough to raise his head and saw the Emperor expression, thus he kept his head hung low, waiting for some reaction. However, there was nothing.
Another minute has passed, but the sound of the clanking metal from the battle had not ceased down yet and the Emperor still had not had any reaction upon hearing this.
The thing that the guard didn't know, only if he raised his head, he would be able to see a smile curved in the corner of the Emperor eyes as his eyes shut, he acted as though the sound of the battle outside was a beautiful melody, enjoying it sincerely.
Mo Qian Yuan leaned his head against his fist while his other hand fiddling with a cup of wine on the table.
People who didn't know would see it was only him and the poor guard, who currently kneeling on the floor, however if someone would see closer, there were many guards who were waiting in the shady part of the room, watching him to protect the Emperor, in case something bad and unpredictable would fall upon him.
Only when the noises sound died down, Mo Qian Yuan chugged down the wine in his hand and threw the cup on the floor.
He didn't aim toward the guard, but somehow he was in the way and as the Emperor, he didn't need to bother about this trivial thing.
Hence the fragments from the cup cut the guard face and hand, it didn't really hurt, but still blood started to ooze out from the wound.
It felt like tonight had been bestowed with blood and blood.
The guard didn't dare to say something, he kept his lips shut no matter how shock and anxious he was.

"There is no need for that. Let him come." Mo Qian Yuan's voice sounded lazy as though he had known from the beginning that his soft son would manage to kill all of his guard and berserk toward his place, he didn't move an inch from his seat or felt a little bit afraid.
"But, Emperor…" The guard felt the needed to save his Emperor, but the later didn't even spare him a glance and when he wanted to persuade Mo Qian Yuan to move away and took a shelter, someone had kicked the door.
The busted wood door fell on the floor with an ear piercing sound. The person must be so powerful to be able to bust down the sturdy door.
And then, Mo Xuan Fei's figure emerged. First his figure was only a shadow among the dust, but later on, the sight of his sharp eyes glared through it and found the person that he wanted to see the most tonight.
Mo Qian Yuan looked at his son, bemused. He had not had idea if this son of his, who was known as the well temper and define man among the royal, was actually had this beast side of him.
No wonder. He was his son after all!
The feeling of proud flickered inside Mo Qian Yuan's eyes when he scrutinized Mo Xuan Fei's current condition.
Blood had covered almost all of his cloak, whether it was his blood or his opponent, no one could say it at this moment.
Meanwhile, his face littered with small cuts and trickled of blood, but in his right hand he was carrying a stuff, which was wrapped with black tablecloth.
"Look at yourself, is this the attitude of the prince from Rockstone Kingdom? I don't remember that I raise you this way." Mo Qian Yuan stood up, he talked in reprimanding tone like a loving father who rebuked his beloved son.
This sudden act of affection made Mo Xuan Fei wanted to vomit blood.
He had never been close with his father before this, in spite sharing blood and lived in the same place, he barely met him in person.
Before Lin Xingyan came between them, he had never thought to seek for recognition from this man, but now, Mo Xuan Fei even felt disgusted by the thought of him being his father.
"You shouldn't come unpresentable like this, as a prince you should know your status." Mo Qian Yuan kept rumbling about nonsense things, just like he didn't really know what the purpose of his son came looking for him in this middle of the dead night.
"You should know better to invite me." Mo Xuan Fei said resentfully.
The prince was standing a few meters away from his father while the poor guard had resigned himself to the side. Pressed his body as small as he could against the wall, once something bad happened, his insignificant life wouldn't be count, he would be the first person who died.
Mo Xuan Fei raised the stuff in his right hand and threw it toward Mo Qian Yuan.
The black tablecloth flew in the air, twisting a couple of time before the knot that tied it opened and revealed the item inside.
It was a head. A bloody head.
Blood had dried on its face, which had turned black and purple. The eyes were shut close with faint wrinkles between his eyebrows and forehead as if he had suffered a great agony before his life left his body.
Upon seeing this scene, Mo Qian Yuan didn't back away nor he was in shock, he locked his black and deep eyes at the head that still soared in the air before it glided on the floor.
The head fell on the ground with a soft thud and stopped a centimeter away from Mo Qian Yuan's feet, its face was facing him like he was accusing him for his unfortunate fate.
"You can keep this one and collect the remaining bodies of your assassins in my courtyard." Mo Xuan Fei gripped the hilt of his sword.
If by killing his father could save Lin Xingyan and sealed the secret about their relationship forever, it would be a greatest joy for him even if he has to lose his life tonight.
He would kill him! He was determined to kill him before he could issue an order to kill Lin Xingyan and accused her for illicit relationship with him.
