The first time my hopes were crushed was when I realized that I was Calamitis. The second time was when I tried to resist the System and then ended up not being able to move. And now, it's realizing that Miceter is not a common name in the world of Forgoe like I originally hoped, but instead I really met one of the Villains in my book.

But how did Miceter turn into that freakish monster that was fat as a melon and as big as a leopard with a fur coat that was the mixture of black, green, and orange?

Perhaps I could use that information to stop Miceter's transformation!

Okay, let's stop and think for a moment.

When I wrote about Miceter before his transformation in my book "Every Cold Winter", I had written that he had encountered a group of Slave Traders a week after he slipped away from Zed, his parent and guardian. To escape the Slave Traders, Miceter had jumped into the sewers beneath the Prosperous Kingdom and encountered a Portal.

...I guess you get the gist of this by now, right?

I switched scenes from Miceter to Fur Charleston. When I came back to Miceter, he was already a monster who was out to get revenge.

Oh my God! How could I forget! Thomas Hark was there as well to escort some of the civilians to safety!

Okay, maybe I can use this chance to act as Miceter's guardian before Zed returns and then I can search for Thomas Hark while he's till in the Prosperous Kingdom!

However, I can't let my hopes be crushed by bad karma! Not right now!

I have to stand firm, I have to protect my little angel before he goes down the wrong path!
