Zylvia followed her husband as he led her to the dining room where they were planning on joining the king and queen . They would usually go to eat supper about this time and it was nice to have a sit down with friends .

The two were sitting in there as was Hazel and Asrar . Something was different and it took Zylvia a while to realize what it was .

Asrar was actually smiling . Not the small reluctant smile he would sometimes do, or the special one reserved only for his princess, but a genuine smile . It was somewhat startling seeing that look on his face .

A similar smile was mirrored on Hazel's face, but it was not nearly as odd to see as the one on the stoic knight's face . Zylvia could not help but feel a little curious but she was not sure how to ask .

She found out the reason though after supper when Jayesh mentioned the visit from Hazel's brother to them . It made Zylvia strangely happy that now all the kingdoms would allow magic within their borders .

They talked for a while but Zylvia dropped her head on her husband's shoulder and though she managed not quite to fall asleep she went into a kind of daze instead . The conversation was a blur to her until her husband gently lifted her up as he bid their friends goodnight .

Zylvia let out a small giggle as she realized they had thought she was asleep, "I am awake, Kaldrek . No need to carry me . "

He had already managed to make it outside the door by the time she managed to get that out . His answer though made her heart nearly stop, "What if I want too? There is something about having you in my arms that I just can not seem to get over . "

He bopped his nose against hers and resumed walking . Zylvia relaxed back in his embrace . He was not the only one who enjoyed this . She liked being carried to bed like this .

He opened their bedroom door and deposited her on their bed . As she relaxed into the comfortable bed she gazed up at him with love in her eyes .

He joined her after he changed into his bedclothes . He had grabbed her nightgown for her and helped her change into it . He did not even hide the way he looked at her as he did so which ended up leaving her a blushing mess .

She buried herself into the covers and refused to look at him . She heard his chuckle a minute before his arms wrapped her up and pulled her against of him . His lips pressed against the back of her head for a second .

"Night Zylv . " His murmur against her hair soothed her and she relaxed into him .

She wiggled in his arms, getting him to loosen his hold on her . Twisting around she faced him . She kissed him and then relaxed completely into his arms, "Night, my lord . "

He hummed softly and squeezed her close . Her eyes shuttered closed as she relaxed and slowly slipped into the land of dreams . She was left of an impression of her husband running his fingers through her hair with a soft affectionate smile on his face .
