Kaamu saw an opening and immediately took advantage of it. He lunged at Keanu and snatched the gun from his hand. The sudden attacked surprised Keanu; he stood there in shock, not realizing what just happened. Not giving Keanu a chance to recover from his shock, Kaamu karate-chopped his neck. He was ever so grateful for all the kung fu movies he watched for that move. Even though he was a good fighter, cockroaches scared the shit out of him.

When he was sure that Keanu was knocked out Kaamu frantically took off his clothes. He was trying to find the cockroach. No. No! NO! He could fight anyone in the world, including Dillan, but he just could not fight those little demons. They scared the shit out of him. The way they looked, the way they smelled, and the feeling of those small legs creeping on his skin...he shuddered at the mere thought of it.

He was completely naked now but he still couldn't find the cockroach. He poked his clothes using his big toe, leaning as far back as possible. Suddenly, the cockroach came out from under the clothes and flew towards him.

"No! Fuck! Go away!!!" He ran away from it. He could tell the little creature was having fun messing with him. He swore he could see the devil in its eyes.

He wanted to cry but no tears came out. He tried his best to shoo the cockroach away. Maybe it had enough fun or maybe it got bored of him; it decided to fly out the window. Its freedom was short-lived; the moment it flapped its wings outside, a big bird swooped in and snatched it. God must have heard Kaamu's prayers.

Kaamu stood there, stunned, he couldn't believe his eyes at first. His eyes widened and his jaw dropped. There was a moment of silence before the sound of Kaamu's claps filled the air.

"Haha! Serves you right, fucker!" he did a happy dance, forgetting his current state.

"What happened?" A magnetic voice rang into Lolita's ear.

She kneeled beside Keanu and her finger against his neck, "Kaamu knocked down Keanu, Boss. And you're not going to believe what I just saw, nya~~~,"

She tapped the red button on her phone, smiling mischievously at the dancing man. He still hadn't realized that all his actions had been recorded by Loli.

"Ehem! Are you done playing around? I never thought it would be that small," she giggled while pointing at his little elephant. The moment he realised what she was talking about, he instantly grabbed his clothes and clumsily put them back on. He could feel his face burning out of embarrassment. He wished a hole would appear in the ground and swallow him up.

He picked up the earpiece on the floor and put it back into his ear. He cleared his throat. "Boss, the ledger isn't here."

Kaamu and Loli dragged Keanu over to a chair and tied him up. Loli took out some duct tape and covered his mouth. Searching the room once more, they were disappointed to see that the ledger wasn't here.

"Guys, I think I know where the ledger is. I just saw Alana meeting with someone at the party. She has a red book in her bag." This time, it was Kahina talking to them.

"Why are you near her? I told you to stay in the car. Get back to the car now Layla!" He could see Kahina from the DJ table, she was approaching Alana while holding two glasses of champagne. He had disguised as a DJ for the party to observe everyone.

"No Dillan. I can't pass up this opportunity. I'm gonna go for it."

"Layla! Layla! Fuck!" Touma stood up to run after Kahina but a guest stopped him, he was asking for a song change. Keeping an eye on her, he entertained the guest's request.

"Loli, back her up."

Loli headed towards the party venue upon hearing his command. When she arrived at the party, she saw Kahina signalling to her the location of the book. She nodded in reply.

Kahina walked towards the target and tapped her shoulder.

"Do I know you?" she asked.

"Excuse me, Mrs Mahoe. I'm a huge fan of yours. I admire your hard work and leadership skills. You cover in Vague Magazine was breathtaking. It truly blew my mind."

"Hahaha. It was nothing, I'm glad you liked it." Alana was enjoying the sugar-coated praise Kahina was giving her. People were normally too scared to talk to her, let alone approach her since she married Keanu. It was quite refreshing for her to meet such a candid fan.

"May I propose a toast?" Kahina handed her a glass of champagne as she knocked her glass with a spoon to gather everyone's attention. Alana smiled, agreeing to her request.

"Cheers!" The sound of glasses clinking filled the air. While everyone's attention was on Alana, Loli covertly stole the red book and disappeared in the crowd.

Loli was a thief before she met Touma. She lived on the streets, doing her best to survive every day; he had seen her pick-pocketing people at the beach. Touma had never seen anyone pick-pocket as smoothly as she did. With her small stature and baby face, people ignored her. This helped her blend into the crowd and pick-pocket as she pleased.
