The Scary Yakuza Is My Husband 56 CHAPTER 56 : Imagined Himself Without Her

Last time, she tried the first kiss tactic but it only a momentary success and it was unable to shake his stand. She realized she needs to assure him about her safety and help him to strengthen both of their families so Touma will be at ease.

"I found my one and only but she is not mine." he casually took the duck and eat it as his statement was meant nothing to him but it was different with Kahina. She can relate the feeling he had because she was having the same feeling right now. The pain was clear to her and she felt empathy towards him.

"You should fight to get her. Only a stupid woman will reject you. I cheer for you. Fighting!" she showed him her fist together with a supportive smile.

"Thank you. Now, it is my turn. What is your favourite place?"

And they continue to talk about each other and sometimes touches of laughter were echoed throughout the dinner. Both of them having a blast and when the dessert was ready for them, they felt close and comfortable with each other. For Kahina, she thought he will be another chess piece and meant nothing to her, fortunately, she felt chemistry with him. The man in front of her was a charming, charismatic and humorous person. It was easy to talk to him.

And Toshiro was way on cloud nine; he can't stop himself to fall for her with every smile and laughter she had shown him tonight. He wished he can prolong the night and the dinner will never end. She was mesmerizing and she was like an angel bath in light. Beautiful and pure.

The dessert was a beautifully deconstructed raspberry cheesecake. It was presented with smashed cookies surrounded the cream cheese and raspberry jelly in the centre of the plate. It was not a typical triangle piece of cheesecake but the element of the cheesecake was separate in the plate and it gave a fun intriguing to match and combine the elements in the spoon.

Toshiro knew how to make a simple dinner as fun and enjoyable. Kahina was having fun with every unexpected dish for her tonight. She never expected the apologies dinner would be this romantic.

"I guess there is no winner this time." They finished five questions each but the question wasn't really tricky because both of them still felt it is too early to ask a deep question. To be honest, Toshiro wasn't really minding who the winner was but he still wants to find another opportunity to be with her.

"How about this, we continue this game for next dinner?"

"Another dinner? Wow! I'm tempted but I need to do a rain check for that."

"May I know why?" He was disappointed with Kahina's reply but he refused to give up.

"Honestly, I am afraid it would be bad for both of us. Especially when you are the centre of the media's eyes as I, on the other hand, try to avoid it as much as possible. I hope you understand."

"Kahina, I can be discreet and I also have the power to control the rumours, just be at ease okay?"

"I know but it would be better to not start the fire. I don't mind being friends with you, it just this kind of dinner, I don't think it appropriate as friends."

"Ohh... Hahaha. No... This dinner is my apologies to you, that is why it is a little special. Next time will be a simple dinner."

Kahina perplexed because she was not stupid. She understands what Toshiro tried to do and if she was not worried about a misunderstanding Touma would be having, she really doesn't mind this kind of treatment. Touma and she right now are on the fence, either it is a success or failure she still had no idea but she really doesn't want him to run farther than as it is now.

"It is hard for me to refuse you if you put it that way. You never accept no for an answer, do you?"

Toshiro smile ear to ear after Kahina finally gave in to his request but she didn't agree either. He doesn't want to push further as it would seem like he was desperate, thus he chose to settle for whatever it is for now.

Kaho Farm

Kaho Farm is Touma escape place as he always spent his weekend here before he met Kahina. This place is full of animals such as horse, goat, cow, dog and many more. Instead of a farm, this place was more like a zoo. Touma loves for animal only known to certain people. It was his dream to be a veterinarian but he can't due to his circumstances but this was the closest he could come to his dream.

Ando saw Touma sat under the tree at the end of the grass field staring at his phone with a sullen face. After his last dinner with Nobu, Ando never once saw Touma smiles anymore. He was hoping for the yellow box to come this morning to put a smile on Touma's face but it was never come until now. This is the first time no yellow box greeted Touma early in the morning. When Touma asked for it from Ando, he was so surprised but he tried to hide his disappointment.

Ando was actually a bit confused. He thought their relationship was getting better with all the kisses and time they spent together but it seems like it was reversed. A demand for marriage, no yellow box, no smiles and now isolated himself in his so-called happy place but still kept his someone-dead face. Ando had no idea how to make everything better for him. He just let Touma be for now.

Touma stared on the screen. It was a picture of Kahina he took when they together at the park. She smiles brightly and they were having fun together. He missed those times. Now, their relationship was getting serious, Touma is afraid the history repeated itself. Moreover, he found out about Fanna Daiki and the threat she was received in the hospital, it put him on alert and anxious because Touma was convinced it was because of him. Nobu sent him a few of candidates a day after he pleaded to him but none of the candidates was catching his eyes at all. Nobody was able to match Kahina in his eyes even though he was the one asked for it. His brain was telling him different thing from his heart. He knew he needs to do this but his heart was hurt every time he imagined himself without her for the rest of his life.

"Kahina... I'm really sorry..." he bit his lower lip as he closed his eyes and murmured the same words again and again.
