The Scary Yakuza Is My Husband 37 CHAPTER 37: That bitch is going to pay!

'What is more important than spends time with me?' This reminded her about their relationship. She had no right to control his life moreover force him to heed on every wish she had. The thought punch through her head gave a realization about her stands in Touma's eyes. She is just a friend and nothing more. A glimpse of sadness appeared in her eyes for a second before she was back to her cheery face.

"Why?"

Her short replied intimidated Touma and he couldn't help himself to feel the need to explain her everything. He doesn't need Kahina permission at all but he feels it is better to have one. He perplexed with his thought and emotion but Touma has no control over it at all.

"I have a business dinner tonight and I have been postponed it a few times." He chose his word carefully to make sure it didn't disclose the identity of his dinner date today. Kahina openly declared her love to him and he can't imagine Kahina's reaction if she finds out the one will be dinner with him tonight is a girl. He runs his finger through his hair a couple of time and he can only watch his ice cream melt. He can't bring himself to take another bite due to his nervousness for Kahina respond. 'Why am I so scared??? I've done nothing wrong!' but he still lowered his eyes to the ice cream.

"That is good. I won't hinder you. We can have dinner tomorrow." Kahina felt relieved. It was not because he wanted to refuse her but it was because he needed to refuse her. 'Wanted' and 'needed' have vast differences from her point of view. If he wanted to refuse her then it was he who chose to but if he needed to refuse her it's meant he doesn't have other option. Kahina felt better with his explanation.

"Thank you. I know you would understand." he put a big grin on his face.

"May I know with whom you will be having dinner with? Is it related to the upcoming launch event?"

And once again, he froze. Kahina narrowed her eyes to him like she caught a boy doing a naughty thing. Kahina's evil smiled appeared on her face as she slowly approached him. This man is the son on Anzo Family; the biggest Yakuza Group in Japan but right now he was like a docile little kitten. Then she was sure there was something Touma tried to hide from her but he wasn't doing a good job of hiding it.

"Touma..." she only two steps away from him and she can feel Touma reluctant to answer her. She snatched his ice cream and started to indulge everything. Touma was so surprised but he couldn't retort.

"My ice cream..." he helplessly ogles at it with a sullen face.

"Serve you right! Who is that person???"

"Err... She is..."

'She!!!! Did he say she???!!! Arghh!!! He knows I am going to be jealous. Now I do understand his weird behaviour.'

"She is one of the influencers I hired for the product review."

'Ahhh... It just works. Why did he hesitate to tell me?' Kahina can feel something was off. Her spider sense right now is on alert.

"Hmm..." she hummed and raises her eyebrows to him.

"Kahina, I already refused a few time but she stated one of the conditions for her to support Megamind was only to have dinner with me privately." He knows Kahina angers going to erupt anytime soon. He has actually been considered their relationship as special after he realized he miss her when she was in a coma but he is not ready for another level yet. They still in the process to get to know each other, that is the reason he can't hide the thing like this from her. He believes to build a relationship the first thing needed to build is trust.

'Privately, huh?! This woman is really courting death.' Kahina cursed her but she kept on paste indifferent look on her face.

"Is that it?"

"Yes, Ma'am. That's it."

"Okay..." he thought Kahina will be furious but he was flabbergasted with her feedback. He doesn't know why but Touma felt a little bit disappointed. If Kahina really views him as her special one, shouldn't she was supposed to be angry and jealous? But she just beaming with smiles as it was nothing to be concern about.

"Just okay?" Touma truly dissatisfied with her but he can't literally say it out loud.

"Yup, what do you want me to say? It just works. I am not that petty but you can replace my kindness with something else. Will you?"

"Whatever you wishes, Ma'am." he only able to swallow his dissatisfied. Honestly, he can terminate the contract for the influencer and find somebody else easily but he wants to see Kahina reaction when there was another woman approach him. Thus, his team predicts the revenue from the influencer will be only two million USD. It wasn't a big money for him but he actually convinced himself Kahina will make the influencer out from his sight without giving him any trouble. Unfortunately, Kahina calm feedback sways his confidence a bit.

'That bitch is going to pay!' she maybe acted calm but her anger indeed bubbling inside ready to burst. She can't let Touma sees her being irrational and control freak. She must capture his heart first and make him fall deeply for her before she shows any of her ugly sides. 'Patience, Kahina. Patience.'

And she needs to do something about that annoying fly. She thought she was loud enough about her feeling to Touma but unfortunately, some people just too ignorant and stupid. She continues to act cheery towards Touma but inside she was calculating her plan for the foolish woman.
