The Scary Yakuza Is My Husband 30 CHAPTER 30 : You make a fool out of my father

A week without Kahina probe his life makes him understands the significance of her existence to him. Even though he didn't believe in God but he was nonstop prayed for Kahina to open her eyes. God or not, that is the only thing he can do. Imagine how happy he was when his prayers were answered.

" Oh dear, am I too much?" his blush doesn't cloak his handsomeness and her heart beating like crazy, she might as well getting a heart attack in any second. If only look can kill, she will be dead by now.

"Okay, I stop for now." she finally decides to back down for more important matter. She needs everything he had on her accident; she presumed he had done his investigation.

"Do we really need to talk about it in your hospital bed? Don't you think it's better we talk in a more private place?" the suggestion didn't sound like one but more like a warning.

"Do we need to be discreet?"

"The wall might have ears." Kahina understands his hint.

"Understand. Then what can you tell me?" upon hearing her question, he touched his chin and look at Kahina, pondering for a moment before answering.

"At least I'm sure of their motive," Kahina just nods and patiently waited for him to continue.

"They targeted you because your stupid move to announce your advance towards me. That is why I told you, silly woman! Stay away from me. I'm might be your Achilles heel." his sorrowed dark face show he really cares for her. He doesn't want people to target Kahina because of him. He really couldn't bear the thought of losing Kahina and the consequences come with it.

"Touma Anzo, listen here. You will never be my weakness but you are my tower of strength. Even without you, I already have a price for my head. Stop thinking nonsense. It doesn't fit you at all." she soothed his feeling by convincing him it wasn't his fault.

"But..." Kahina places her index finger on his lips before he uttered another word. Any chances for her to touch Touma, she will never let it slide. Never! Her lips curled up when Touma do nothing to reject her advance.

"No but! What I want you to do now is help me avenge Ken. Will you do that for me?" He nodded.

"I already sent your attacker's kin to Mr Hinode," he told her everything about their agreement and his compensation to Hinode Family.

Kahina laugh breaks out in please with her father wicked thinking. He gains a lot from this predicament. He must expect praise from her. He obviously deserved that.

"Why do you give in? Anzo Family is strong. It is not like you in the losing side." she tested him. Kahina wants to discern his thought. For him to give up territory and pride was not ordinary Yakuza ways. History proved they were willing to kill anyone in order to gain ownership of a territory.

"Let just say I want to avoid dispute between our families considering you are my friend." he sincerely told the main reason he agreed to the term.

Kahina smirked at him, then she leans to the drawer beside her bed and opened it to take a brown envelope. The envelope contains the agreement Touma was talked about. She calmly studied the agreement. She flips the pages back and forth, nodding and shaking her head and sometimes narrowing her eyes and after she finished she scoffed loudly.

"Touma, you genius bastard!" if she is able to clap she will give him a big applause. She glared amusingly to him. 'My future husband is so genius!' she can't help to feel proud of him.

"You figured huh!" he sneered at her. He taught it was hidden enough by leading everyone on thinking he had a losing end.

"Tell me what you found out?" he really interested what she truly figured out.

"You make a fool out of my father!" she claimed but in a pleasing manner.

"No, I only give him what he wanted. The agreement itself was prepared by him," he replied with an innocent mask on his face.

"My father was scammed by you. Pity him."

"Young women, it was a win-win situation."

"Yes, I agree but with you win big." she snorted at him. People thought I am manipulative enough. They didn't realize the man in front of me much even worse. He was able to pull this agreement on his side without alerting the other side and letting them think the won big but in reality, he holds the biggest one.

First, he promised he would serve Kahina and Kahina only until she said otherwise but he knows how smitten she is to him. She would never make his life a living hell. Plus, he holds her promise to protect him no matter what. So, the promised to serve Kahina bring no harm to Touma. At least, he was hoping for that.

Second, Touma was generously willing to let go half of the West Region Territory to Hinode. The territory was profiting millions to them. Why the big of heart? That was because the territory itself is now raided with new Yakuza group. The head of the group identity is well hidden and the strength of them is increased at a rapid rate. Touma able to wash his hand from the nuisance matter and let Hinode settled it. By settling it the other west region which remains theirs will be able to double the profit because it was designed by Oata to be the tourist Centre point. West region is famous with the rich Japanese culture and the delicious food but the visitor rates are declining for last year because of the disturbance caused new Yakuza group. Touma specifically chose the damaged region to offer to Hinode Family. If Hinode is able to settle it, which Touma sure they would, then the cost to rebuild the damage will be tremendously expensive while the Anzo territory will enjoy the result of it.

The last one was nothing. Touma just wants Takio anger to be appeased by giving him the punching bag that due. The girlfriend, son and the rest of the attacker kin meant nothing to Touma. They just an extra gift he didn't need.

Touma extremely impressed by Kahina. She was unconscious all this time but immediately able to comprehend the whole situation with a few flips of pages. He almost explodes his head to come up with it but easily exposed by her. Unfortunately, the damaged was done. Both of them already finalize their signature. Touma looked at Kahina expression. She wasn't slightly upset with the finding instead she was really happy. Her reaction tinges uneasy feeling within him. 'She is supposed to be upset, isn't she? Why she is so calm?' he can't grasp the reason.
