The Scary Yakuza Is My Husband 26 CHAPTER 26 : Where is Ken?

After Touma and Takio finalize the agreement, Touma was allowed to be near Kahina anytime he wants and serves her as he sees fit. He went forth and back to the doctor office with so many questions to them. Sometimes he was drowning with work; he just finished it beside Kahina. He is like a loving husband to her. His action melts so many female nurses and doctors in the hospital wishing they could change Kahina's position with them. Touma never forgets to bring Kahina a bouquet of flowers every day and the flowers he brought were different too.

Today, Touma greet her like always, tease her a bit and sat down beside her. His sorrow gaze to her clearly suggests his grieve with Kahina condition. He felt regretful as nothing he can do to wake Kahina up. After a week of investigation, he is certain Kahina accident was because she in close contact with him and the worst part was she openly announce to the people about her attention. He is a man with more foe than friends. He is the man that life is something unsure for tomorrow. He is the man fate to live with no love but to him alone.

Kahina is a perfect woman he could ever wish for and when he started to have the slightest hope, they tried to take her away. He still doubts his heart about his own feeling towards her but he is sure he really okay to be her friend and get to know more about her. His enemies start to target her to get to him and it means he needs to do everything he can to protect her. The promises he made to Takio to protect her is an honour he will always keep.

A slight movement underneath his palm shocked him. Touma immediately looks up to Kahina and to his surprise a pair of hazel eyes stare at him with a weak smile on her face.

"Oh thank goodness, you wake up! Wait here, I will call a doctor," he rushes to the door to call a nurse there.

"Nurse, she is waking up! Hurry up!" upon on his yell they immediately charge to Kahina's room. Within a second, Touma finds himself cast aside by the flock of nurses and doctor but he was okay. His eyes lock on Kahina every movement. His ears were sharp like a bat to every word the doctor said. After the series of test, the doctor confirms Kahina is in good condition and only need a few days more of rest. Then, she is good to kick the world again.

"Kahina, Oh, my baby girl! I miss you." Aomi runs to Kahina followed by Takio and two of her son. They disregard Touma existence and focus on Kahina. Touma realizes he is unnecessary in the picturesque he left the room with a relieved. Kahina is back! All of the Hinode was beaming with happiness and gratitude. She really is blessed by heaven and he silently wishes he could have a loving family too.

Kahina saw Touma was leaving the room but she had no strength to stop him. The most important people right now are four people in front of her. Kahina understands they are worried and anxious and she needs to prioritize them first before Touma. Thus, she needs to assimilate what was actually happen to her before she could act.

"What happens?" Kahina hoarse voice meets their ears. Upon hearing her, Aomi turns to Takio, Takio turns to Keito and Keito turns to Kaede and Kaede let out a heavy sigh. When they need to tell Kahina something unpleasant they always avoid the responsibility and pass to Kaede the entire burden to explain everything. Kaede was always the one Kahina let out her frustration and anger at.

"I will go to the details when you are feeling better. For now, treat this matter as enemy strike" Kaede decides Kahina's condition was too weak for her to comprehend everything. Everyone in the family knows Kahina will not rest and tried to come up with a plan for her vengeance and this was not the first time she been targeted, that is why Kahina was so obsessed with martial art and power. Everything needed for her to gain to protect every single person she loves, she guarantees to acquire it.

"Which one?" she insisted on the story.

"Patience, Kahina. Patience,' Kaede gave her a stern replied. She felt dissatisfied but Kahina didn't dare to retort. When Kaede decided on something, it would almost impossible to change his mind; she just needs to ask the rest of the member for the answer. She looks at Keito will her puppy eyes but he avert his sight from her, avoids to acknowledge her plead. Keito still loves everything he has right now and Kaede knows where to strike if Keito didn't obey Kaede. He learns his lesson last time he saves Kahina from Kaede when Kaede tried to discipline her. Kaede took all of his sword collection including his Samurai and he needs to do the same punishment as Kahina. The worst among the worst punishment was one of Keito favourite collection which is 13th Century Kamakura Katana Long sword, a traditional single-edged Japanese sword used by Japanese Samurais' for a myriad of years, Kaede sold it for half of its original price to another antique collector. Kahina pleading eyes was pitiful and adorable but Kaede warns look scared the hell out of him. Call him selfish but he would never go against Kaede this time. 'No little sister. I am really sorry. First Brother is so scary.'

Unable to gain Keito sympathy, Kahina looks at both of her parents and to her disappointment, they shook their head refuses to answer her. Aomi and Takio agreed with their first son decision to let her rest and gain more strength before she starts busy herself with any payback.

Kahina finally give up on getting the answer, she will get it, it just a matter of time. She starts scanned everything in the room and she realizes Ken was not around.

"Where is Ken?" she asked with concern. The last thing she remembered was Ken tried to grab her before she was blackout.
