The Scary Yakuza Is My Husband 19 CHAPTER 19 : You promised to protect me

After dinner, Oata drops her in front of her house. It is not really a big house but big enough to accommodate her alone. She lives in the Centre of Tokyo with a high-end residence and ironclad security. Oata personally makes sure she is truly safe. She as Oata's woman is not a secret since last year. Even though her profession as a professional photographer is obviously screaming out ordinary than Oata's life but it didn't stop them to be together. So, as a woman to a man with more enemies than friends, her safety is number one priority. Whenever she goes, she normally has at least one guard with her but he will blend in surround her. Another guard is acting as her assistant. Some people might find it suffocating by being surrounded by so many people all the time but she willing to make the sacrifices to be with Oata.

Oata Anzo, a man with charisma and charming face. He well builds body and perfect proportion always attracts many women but he chose her. He holds the position of Shatei Gashira which is second in command in Anzo family. He controls the centre and west Tokyo region and he also owns several bars all over his territory. He is fierce and strict but to her, he always a gentleman. She knows he loves her too much and she always has taken advantage of it. Fanna loves him too but she is really scared Fiona will abuse their love to her gain.

She ambles slowly to open the door and switch on the light. A very beautiful modern English interior design living room light up in front of her. On the side of the room, there is a beautiful small rose pattern sofa compliment with lampstand on the right side and a beautiful bouquet of rose on top of the coffee table in the middle. Underneath the coffee table, there is a fluffy white greyish rug to add more texture for the room. On the wall, a big round mirror hung there to create an effect for the bigger room. The other side of the wall, there were three big portraits of hers with a different pose. It is elegant, beautiful and alluring.

She walks through it to her bedroom and prepared herself for the bed. She went to the bathroom; soak herself with scented rose oil warm bath. The sweet smell calms her mind and eases her muscle. Oata really pushes her limit each time they are together. She smiles sweetly remembering their moment earlier this day. It is really good to be in love.

Suddenly she heard some laugh softly. She was surprised and immediately jump out from the bathtub and walk out to look for the sound. There is nobody. She kept on looking until she saw a woman sit on her bedside. She instantly shakes when she recognized the woman.

"Fiona..." her lips tremble as she called out her name.

"I simply gave you a simple task, but you just couldn't do it, do you?" she walks to her and starts rubbing her head gently but Fanna could feel no gentleness but a murderous aura instead.

"But... I am trying..." she trembles uncontrollably tried to explain to her.

"Once again and this is the last chance I give you, destroyed Anzo family." she grabs her hair and pull her it to the back before she slowly licks her tears on the cheek.

"I... I... under... understand..." Her weakened legs couldn't hold her body anymore and she falls kneeling down.

"Good." she licks her lips and just disappears into thin air. She then continues sobbing until she falls asleep on the floor.

Tokyo University Hospital

"Good Morning Mr Hinode, Mrs Hinode" Touma greet politely to Takio and Aomi, slightly bow down. The couple wasn't surprised with Touma appearance in the room. They are well known about the man in front of them. How can they do not know their daughter's love crush? He once brings chaos to the family when Kahina went crazy wooing him.

"Good morning, Mr Anzo" they greet him formally.

"I offer my condolences to both of you. How is she?" he glances to the women on the bed, she looks peaceful regardless of all the bruises all over her face. He felt a slight pain in his heart when he looks at her condition.

"Doctor said she just broke her right hand and two of her ribs and she maybe hit her head really hard, that is why she still in a coma." Takio explains to Anzo while he gently rubbing the back of Aomi, tried to console her when she broke in tears when he mentions the words 'coma'.

"Mr Anzo, may I stay by her side for a moment?" he asks his permission to go closer to Kahina. He still couldn't believe the cheerful naughty girl once before is lying stone on the bed. He pulls the chair to sit beside her after he saw a nod from Takio. He let a regretful sigh out and slowly put the rose bouquet to the side table.

"Last time I'm here you brought me a basket of chocolate but this time I bring you a bouquet of flowers. I don't know whether you like it or not. Please wake up and tell me." he looks at her hoping for a slight indicator she is awake but nothing.

"I don't like to be in debt for too long, I will come here every day for an hour to spend with you. If you still didn't wake up by the time is up, I will have fun by myself." He put a teasing tone to her but still not a wince. He stares at her proportion. Her head, hands wrap in bandages and hints of blood on it can be seen.

"Please wake up Kahina. You promised to protect me. How do you planning on doing that if you laze around her?" This time, his tone is more demanding. Takio and Aomi were surprised with Touma action and now they understand their daughter really choose a good man. The young man in front of them seems really hurt with their daughter condition.

After a while, Touma stood up and walked towards Takio and Aomi. "I'll be coming again tomorrow. Thank you for your understanding. "He gave a slight bow to both of them before walk out from the room.

When he hops in the car, he kept his silence and just throws his gaze to the outside of the car. His eyes turn to murderous glare before he opens his mouth.

"Did you figure out who is responsible for this accident?" He waited for Ando to answer.

"The driver was dead on the way to the hospital and no id on him but I run facial recognition and figure out he is a former criminal who just releases last week. He was drunk driving at that time after being chased out by his family. From his bank account, there is nothing suspicious but kin of him told us, about his girlfriend and son. I check her bank account and there are 2.5 million yen (around 23000 US dollar) had been deposited to her by unknown. I confirm there is no contact between him and his girlfriend at all since he is released."

"Is he under anyone's protection?"

"Actually... he is under our wing." Ando hesitantly told him. He also quite shocked by the news.

"Which branch is he?" he tried to calm himself for him to assess the situation better. His father would not have done this because it easily will point to him back. If anyone knew his father better, they would understand this is not his method. His method is like hiding completely his hands like he is not involved at all but it always the result he gains the most. Hurting Kahina by using his own underling will raise suspicion to him. He will never do this.

"Oata." Ando once again hesitantly told him the information. He could feel the bubbling rage in Touma's eyes upon hearing it.
