The Prince of the World Chapter 32: Undefeated

Two young Dahuang Palace disciples in white were standing across each other on the Stage.

“I have to end you once and all today, Yan Li!” Ye Tianyu, grinning, slowly pulled out a light-green bladed sword from his back.

Unlike normal swords, this one was blinking unintelligible incantations out of its length, and discharged immense pressure the moment it was unleashed, emitting blinding glow when infused with vigor.

This was the Wushuang Sword!

Narrowing his eyes, Yan Li began, “You know what, you just taught me a lesson, Ye Tianyu, that is, no mercy should be granted to animals like you! I have laid you off twice, but look what you have done to me? So, the same goes to you, I also have to end you once and all today!”

Yan Li didn't raise his voice, but his determination was enough to get the message across, which had almost everyone twitch their faces and looked at Ye Tianyu in disgust.

A lot of people present today had watched their last battle here, and even those who were not here last time had also heard about what happened: That Yan Li could have killed Ye Tianyu twice but still chose to let him live. However, Ye Tianyu, on the other hand, held an unnecessary grudge against Yan Li and painstakingly wanted to kill him.

What an ungrateful bastard!

Sensing the scornful sight from the crowd, Ye Tianyu, face flushing with anger, was almost torching a hole on Yan Li with his hateful glare.

“Cut the crap, Yan Li! You are doomed to die today!”

Riding wind, the Wushuang Sword, clad in an emerald glow and circles of incantations, pierced through the air and came howling towards Yan Li's chest.

Yan Li's expressions went stiff for a second as he noticed that the power from Ye Tianyu's sword was at least five times the one he perceived during their last fight, which meant, with the Wushuang Sword, Ye Tianyu could almost pass for a Poyuan realm practitioner now.

A sound resembling the dragon's howl rang off as Yan Li plucked his sword out and thrusted it at a weird angle, since this move by Ye Tianyu was too forceful to be blocked head-on and he would have to find the weak spot to slow it down first.

The metal clanked briskly as Yan Li's sword hit the jackpot and immediately, he felt his fingers go numb at the counterforce, which pushed him a couple steps back before being balanced off.

The Wushuang Sword stalled for a brief second and tilted slightly because of Yan Li's strike, but Ye Tianyu didn't seem to be affected too much by it as he flexed his wrist and chopped the sword at Yan Li in a fierce manner, making the air rumble and growl.

Clenching his jaws, Yan Li swung his sword and made a series of quick jabs at one spot, breaching the pressure array of the Wushuang Sword in an instance.

“The Wushuang Sword is powerful, but it has to be used in the proper way. And with all due respect, you're not qualified to use this sword, Ye Tianyu!”

Yan Li scoffed before jolting forward and driving his sword at Ye Tianyu, who then was completely engulfed by the suffocating pressure exploding off Yan Li's sword.

Even though Yan Li had just reached the Yuan realm, he had nine whirls to build the sea of vigor, so the amount of Zhen vigor in his body was no less than that of a Shenyuan realm martial artist.

In the meantime, he had absorbed three different souls and had been a Xuan realm master in his last life, both strong-willed and experienced, so even if Ye Tianyu had the Wushuang Sword to his rescue, Yan Li would still see right through him and spot his weakness.”

“Shit!” Ye Tianyu cried out, feeling like a dead fish on a chop board with nowhere to escape. “Go to hell! Fucking hell!” He growled like a caged animal, flailing the Wushuang Sword around aimlessly.

The medium-level enforcing weapon was able to shield him for a while before Yan Li's repeated attack broke it through and reached Ye Tianyu's left arm.

However, Yan Li was only forced to retreat when his hand went limp at the pressure of the Wushuang Sword, for his skills now were not sufficient enough to handle such level of power, so he had to content himself with just breaking the barrier and slashing Ye Tianyu a little, or else he would lose his sword to the pressure array.

As if pulled by a string or something, Yan Li glided backwards for a few meters before stopping to look in amusement at Ye Tianyu, who didn't seem to notice his retreat and was still waving his sword in front of him like a complete lunatic.

The crowd burst out laughing at the scene, while Meng Wushuang, frowning, threw a slightly disappointed look in Ye Tianyu's direction.

How much of a loser was he when he had advantages of both skill and weapon but still got whipped by Yan Li.

But it was not all on him, Meng Wushuang thought to himself. As far as he was concerned, Yan Li knew how to fight and when to strike, and most importantly, he knew how to find his opponent's weakness and take advantage of it.

“Hey, you don't have to try this hard to showcase your weapon, Ye Tianyu!” Yan Li snorted as he summoned the Zhen vigor to soothe the numbness coming off of him palm.

Just like what people always said, “Words cut deeper than swords.”

Ye Tianyu just put his sword away when he realized that Yan Li had already backed off, but hearing his remark and sensing the mockery from the crowd made his stomach churn with anger and humiliation.

“Fuck you! I'm going to kill you, Yan Li!” Howling, Ye Tianyu again lifted the Wushuang Sword up and swung it towards Yan Li as it turned into a scalding beam of emerald and traveled at lightning speed like a furious dragon.

Wind ruffled his hair as Yan Li slowly held his sword up, eyes darkened, and waiting for Ye Tianyu to come close without moving a step.

He wanted to show them how he could beat a weaponized Ye Tianyu fair and square and how he could make a name for himself here among all the indoor disciples without having to be protected or picked on by anybody.

The Mixed Yuan vigor was immediately transmitted to his palm and then infused into the sword, causing a black-and-white glow to flash across its length as Yan Li speared it at Ye Tianyu with full force.

Theoretically, the Wushuang Sword was able to destroy any ordinary weapons within its pressure array; however, at this moment, Yan Li's steel sword was like a heavenly artifact, easily tapping into the barrier and striking at its weak spot successively.

Ye Tianyu's grip came loose under the force of Yan Li's attack and the Wushuang Sword was knocked out of his hand with a clatter of the metal.

The tip of Yan Li's sword ripped across Ye Tianyu's wrists and ankles before he tumbled to the ground, screaming, for Yan Li had cut open the tendons there.

Suddenly, a loud bang sounded off as Yan Li's sword exploded into pieces and scattered all over the Stage, stunning the crowd speechless.
