Lin Yuwen sneered and said, "Lin Chu, you should just get off your high horse. It's not embarrassing to ask us for help. It's still better than you running into snags at every turn. Do you want to starve to death when you don't have a job and income?"

Lin Yuwen raised her hand and gently touched a strand of hair from the side of her ears. "Lin Chu, I know you have high self-esteem, but to live you have to forget about your self-esteem. I've seen pictures of President Yang. Although he's already 45 years old, and he's much older than you in age, he still looked young and dashing in photos. Lin Chu removed her hands from Old Lady Lin's palm coldly. "Grandma, you think that this is for my own good, or you think that If I find someone else I would stop thinking about Chen Ziming?"

"Lin Chu, don't be ungrateful," Lin Yuwen said furiously. "My mum has been going around and helping you to find someone suitable to take care of you. You didn't even say thank you, and you're acting like we're doing more harm than good. Your conscience has been eaten by a dog! I'm sorry I don't agree with you on this matter, it doesn't matter even if you said that I don't have a conscience. I've never thought of getting married just for the money and disregarding the person's character because of his wealth. You said there are many younger and more beautiful girls out there who are willing to be with President Yang, so just let them be. I've also never thought of looking for someone from a rich family. If I just want to live a simple life with someone ordinary, it wouldn't even affect you. It's not your business even if I suffer from poverty. You don't have to 'worry' about me over this matter. Lin Chu took two steps to distance herself from the person and scrutinized the person from head to toe. He was at the age of 40 or 50, either the photo had been edited, or recently this person had eaten too much. He looked much fatter than he did in the photo. He was wearing a suit, but that did not cover up his belly that was sticking out, though this was normal for people of his age.

His square face looked slightly round because of his chubbiness. He had a pair of gold-rimmed glasses sitting on his nose bridge that was not high. He did not look like a gentleman, he looked more like a stingy and cunning businessman. This man in front of him had decent features, he was not ugly, but he was not exactly good-looking either. 

He must be Yang Zhiyuan, or President Yang, that Old Lady Lin and the rest addressed him as.

"This is…" Yang Zhiyuan already made a guess deep down.

Lin Yuwen smiled and hurriedly introduced, "President Yang, this is my sister Lin Chu."

Yan Beicheng glanced at him, then pushed his hand away. "How can you keep a photo of my girlfriend? I'm the one who's supposed to keep it."

After he said that, he lowered his head and continued digging. 

"…" Wei Zilin looked at him speechlessly. "This is a resume, right? It's supposed to go into the company's archives. What do you mean by me keeping it? Why would you want a two-inch ID photo like this?"

"Only I can look at my girlfriend's barefaced photo. How can it be simply shown to the people in your company," Yan Beicheng said while tearing down the photo. Then, he pinched the photo with his long fingers and put it in his wallet.

Wei Zilin had nothing to say, "…"

He felt that Yan Beicheng was drunk in love to the point that he was becoming retarded. 

"This has to be archived. What do you think you're doing by taking the photo away?" Wei Zilin curled his lips.

He was the one who brought this upon himself. He took a photo of Lin Chu's resume and sent it to Yan Beicheng to flaunt. He ended up being dragged out and had the photo taken away.

Yan Beicheng rolled his eyes and retorted, "It's not like you don't know how Lin Chu looks like. You don't need any photos."

Wei Zilin was speechless, "…"
