She had shared her plans with Xu Guodong and Dai Huimin last night and both of them have now passed the restaurant's operations fully over to her. Xu Guodong was happy being the chef because he did not need to worry about anything else. On the other hand, Dai Huimin knew her capabilities, so she took charge of service.

When Xu Jiaojiao shared her thoughts, they did not object. All they did was listen and nod while insisting that they would let her handle everything. Xu Jiaojiao was dumbfounded at their reaction.

Soon after, Dai Huimin finished cleaning the tables and the floor. She pounded her shoulders and back while walking toward the kitchen. Xu Jiaojiao watched her and felt a little sad as she decided to do everything possible to help the restaurant make money. She did not want Dai Huimin to handle cleaning anymore and just wanted Dai Huimin to serve the dishes when there were too many people.

At that moment, Dai Huimin's phone rang. Dai Huimin's phone did not ring often as not many people would think about calling her.

When she saw the name of the screen, she got so excited she nearly jumped for joy, but at the same time, she was worried that something might have happened to her.

Xu Jiaojiao curiously approached her as she saw Dai Huimin's worried expression. "Mum, who's calling you? What's wrong?"

Dai Huimin quickly regained her composure and picked up the call. "Lin… Lin Chu!"

Xu Jiaojiao stopped what she was doing as well. Lin Chu did not know how to start the conversation, so she simply bit her lip and said, "I… I just wanted to share with all of you that I'm pregnant. I feel that I should let you know about this."

"Is that true? I… I never thought that you'd be willing to share this news with me. Thank you, thank you so much. This is good news, really great news," Dai Huimin's tears began streaming down her face.

Lin Chu did not expect Dai Huimin to react so emotionally and she did not know how to continue the conversation after she heard Dai Huimin crying. Her head began to buzz as she forced herself to continue, "Yes, um, I went for a check-up last night and apparently it's been a little more than a month."

"How… How are you feeling right now? Do you have a strong appetite?" Dai Huimin cried as she asked.

Lin Chu glanced at Yan Beicheng and realized he had been staring at her all this while. There was a glint in his eye and a big smile on his face.

Lin Chu instantly knew that no matter how terrible she felt in the future, it was all going to be okay. She reached out to hold Yan Beicheng's hand and Yan Beicheng immediately sat down next to her.

His long arms wrapped around her waist as Lin Chu leaned into his arms, resting her head on his shoulder.

They did not exchange any words but still felt a strong connection. All they needed to do was exchange a glance and they knew what the other was thinking.

"My appetite has been alright. I actually started reacting to food yesterday. I used to love oily, fried food but I couldn't hold them down. The cold noodles you made me suited my appetite much more. It's sour, spicy and tasty. When I didn't have much of an appetite last night, I kept thinking about that taste from that afternoon, so I had a bowl of cold noodles, but without with less spiciness," Lin Chu said in an attempt to make Dai Huimin feel better.

"Right, right. You can't have spicy food while pregnant," Dai Huimin nodded continuously as she brought Xu Jiaojiao into the kitchen with her.

"Just let me know if you'd ever like to have it. I'll get your uncle to make you some. It's not that much trouble to make the noodles so don't worry about troubling us. Unless, your family is also making it for you, if so…"

"I'll come when I'd like to have some more. But if I suddenly crave it in the middle of the night, please don't let me trouble you," Lin Chu said.

Dai Huimin's face immediately brightened. "No, of course not! You can come and see me anytime, even if it's in the middle of the night!"

Lin Chu happily logged into WeChat with Yan Beicheng's approval and sent a message in the group chat that contained the three of them.

Lin Chu thought to call either one of them since Zheng Yuntong and Xu Moyan lived together, but she could not decide who to call, so she informed them via the chat group instead.

She did not know what the two of them were doing but they were obviously hanging out together. They opened the message at the same time and went crazy over it together.

Xu Moyan, "You guys are really fast!"

Lin Chu heard Yan Beicheng mumbling by the side, "I'm not that fast at all."

"I knew you would get really angry, which was why I didn't dare tell you about this immediately. Beicheng, I'm not going to stop you from retaliating against him as he disgusts me. You can do anything you want to him, but you can't let that kind of person have so much control over your anger - it's not worth it. I was really angry about it yesterday too and it took me the whole afternoon to calm myself down. Yan Beicheng was reading the conversation between the three of them whilst Lin Chu made no attempt to hide it from him.

Xu Moyan, "He still doesn't know about it?"

Lin Chu, "Yeah, it was my birthday yesterday, remember? I didn't want to dampen the mood with this."

Zheng Yuntong, "That's right. Not worth it for a bastard like him."

Lin Chu told them she wanted to see the fruits of their labor and clicked on the link Zheng Yuntong had shared.

It was a link to a Taobao site, and the name was simple yet rude, 'Xing X Film and Television Company's President Lu Presents The Real-Life Model Of His Thing, Made For Both Men And Women, Real As Can Be!'

There were detailed pictures posted below the advertis.e.m.e.nt. Lin Chu and the other girls were not really looking to sell it off. What they wanted was to spread the news far and wide for everyone to see.

Yan Beicheng may have already known this but her words still cheered him up greatly. He lowered his head and pulled her collar open, then sucked hard on her neck, leaving behind a hickey.

Lin Chu burned from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet. However, she pulled her hands free from his grip. She was not about to measure his p.e.n.i.s right now.

When she picked up her phone, Yan Beicheng covered the screen with his hands. She heard his moody voice, which now sounded much like a child complaining, "I thought you've had enough of it?"

"I'm not going to continue looking at it. Yuntong sent two links to me. The first was the link to the shop, the second is for Weibo. Now, I want to see how it was advertised on Weibo. Since Lu Zhenghang liked showing it off so much, we'll just let everyone have a good look," Lin Chu pulled his hands away.

Yan Beicheng did not stop her. He enthusiastically stuck close to Lin Chu's face as they started reading it together.

If there is one ID that is especially determined to bid on it, all you need to do is to raise the price. You don't need to worry about how high it goes as I'm sure it will get higher at the very end. This would most likely be Lu Zhenghang's people."

"Master Yan, do you want me to push the price to the highest possible bar and get him to buy it back at a high price?" Zuo Qiu asked.

"That's the idea. All you need to do is to hang on until the very last second. If you are the last bidder and the other party doesn't continue bidding, it's okay to purchase it.
