The Overlord - Naruto Fanfiction (COMPLETED) Chapter 9: Minato's Worst Day.

Minato sighed as he completed the paper work for today, but it would return tomorrow, with the weight of an elephant, and the size of a mountain, that he did not doubt at all.

He remembered his previous conversation with his son...

Flashback No Jutsu

Ryu entered the Hokage's room and looked at his father who was signing paper work,"Tou-chan! " He grinned as he ran towards Minato who smiled slightly when he saw his son and hugged him tightly.

"What made you visit me, my little dragon?" Minato chuckled and ruffled his son's crimson red hair .

Ryu grinned," Tou-chan, remember what you promised me a year ago?!" Minato frowned, as he searched in his memories, but he couldn't find any memory of promising him anything, however not wanting to upset his son, he nodded.

"I knew you'd remember it, Tou-chan! Well I want you to uphold the ending straw of the promise a year from today!" Minato raised an eyebrow but nodded, what had he just done to himself... Hopefully not a lot of trouble.

He gulped," Uhm... My Little Dragon, what kind of promise did we have again? I think I might've forgotten a few details, maybe you can remind me again?"

Ryu looked at him blankly for a second, before laughing loudly," Ah Tou-chan, it can't be! You forgot that you told me you would allow me to chose two others to graduate with at age 8, if I managed to perform a A Rank Jutsu, one besides The Rasengan!"

Minato looked awkwardly, before muttering,"Ah?"

Flashback No Jutsu - Over

Minato sighed,this was going to bite him back, badly... " Ryu...How did you even get to learn an A Rank Jutsu, besides the Rasengan? That's incredible..." He did not doubt his son's words, there was no reason for him to lie to him, just to graduate earlier.

Why would he even want to graduate 4 years before the actual graduation age was a mystery to him, he probably thought Shinobis were cool, so he wanted to be one as well...

He wanted to show him the jutsu tomorrow too. He suddenly shuddered. Kushina would kill him, absolutely. He was absolutely certain of it, He suddenly felt like slapping himself.

Why did he make such a stupid promise, he didn't even remember?!

Ryu smirked, his plan coming to a new stage, Kurai shivered inside of him,"You really can be evil at times, you didn't even use your Infinite Paths here, that was just sheer talk... I guess you do pick some skills after a thousand years."

Ryu's smirk only rose after getting praised by his Bijuu,"But... Why the fuck are you still not revealing your Mokuton, or Sharingan? You could use Your 'Perfect Illusion' Path to make everyone think it is natural..."

The boy pouted," That would be too simple, I am planning on using my Mokuton in a bit of time, and my sight is already faster than that of your average MS, and it would be too boring to overpower everyone in an extremely easy manner, Kurai."

He still couldn't understand why his tailed beast was so lazy, some people just wanted to satisfy themselves through a battle with an equal alright? While Ryu lacked 'equals' he could simply lower his power to match theirs!

" I wouldn't mind having a battle with a person who has the same power amount as me, but the chances of that are extremely low, few people can rival me, you know that Ryu..." Kurai smirked.

Ryu rolled his eyes," Yes, yes... Mister. I'm too cocky... I know literally 5 people who can beat you, barely but still." Kurai replied with a snort,"Momoshiki can't defeat me, neither can Urashiki or any Otsutsuki, maybe their Clan Leader, but he is still shit compared to you, so he wouldn't dare, only the Four Divine Beasts can hold a candle to me."

Ryu could feel the arrogance come from his Tailed Beast, and he could only sigh helplessly," Anyway, we only have about one more year before I have to proceed with all my plans, I need to enjoy all of it, and also train those brats."

"Naru-chan, where Is our little munchkin?" Kushina asked, as it was almost night and their little son had yet to come home, she was getting worried, she thought Naruto was with him, but the older sibling frowned," I haven't see him since yesterday, Kachan." He replied.

Yuki was about to leave the house to search for their little brother," I need to know where he is, Kachan, I'll go ask his friends, he made two new friends at the academy recently, and he told me their names." She said and suddenly the door to the home was opened, revealing Ryu who was panting in sweat.

Kushina growled," Where were you, little man... You made your mother worry about you!" She released a dark aura, making Naruto and Yuki shiver, before she hugged Ryu and practically strangled him, " M...Mom... I can't breathe..." The little boy said with what remaining air he had in his lungs.

"Scary..."Naruto and Yuki were still shaken from the current situation, but a loose glare from their mother made them freeze and return to normal in fear of pissing her even more. Ryu pouted," I'm not a little boy anymore, Kachan! Tou-chan promised me I'll become a genin soon!"

Kushina froze. "My little dragon, can you just repeat what you just said please? I think I didn't hear you properly..." She said with sweat building behind her head. Ryu titled his head in confuse before nodding sweetly.

" Tou-chan promised me a year ago, that if I manage to learn a second Rank Jutsu, I could become a Genin, with my own personal team!" Ryu grinned as he revealed a pair of bright white teeth.

Kushina exhaled and inhaled, before shouting with a voice which was probably heard in Sunagakure and even Kumogakure... That night, Minato slept in the couch, with several bruises and tears visible in his face.

He was never going to piss his wife again, absolutely never... Darn him and his memory! When did he even promise something like that to his son...
