The Overlord - Naruto Fanfiction (COMPLETED) Chapter 47: The End Of A War.

Ryu yawned, Kiri had retreated, after seeing their leader being beaten terribly, mainly due to him releasing them from the Genjutsu, and using a mass 'teleportation' jutsu to send them back to home, using the stream they had used to come here in the first place.

He had just received information from his Soul Clone in Takigakure, it seems another Akatsuki member who went by the name of Saori had attacked the village, wanting to get the Seven Tails, but failed as his clone saved Fuu.

Although, it seems it had faced difficulties. Kage Level Shinobi, were a rank higher than S Rank Shinobi, but still, it had been a difficult fight. Now, taking his focus on Iwa, Ryu had been promoted to Chunin, together with his team, for great contribution to the battle.

He was wondering why his godfather and brother never showed up, but it was no surprise, it seems they faced two Akatsuki members, Deidara and Sasori who tried to take Naruto with them, but failed.

The two were resting in Konoha, having been forced to return for medical attention, since Naruto was injured by Deidara's explosions… Which were very wild one could say. Team 7's jounins had been forced to return to Konoha for an urgent meeting, leaving Team 7 alone in Iwa.

Since the team had already completed the chunin exams, they decided to return to Takigakure, since Ryu missed… someone there? He didn't know.

Kurai had finally awakened from his sleep yet again,"Dude you just finally became a Chunin? Maybe it's going to be worth watching your adventure from now on… Just please rush this, I want to see more action!"

Ryu gained a tick mark, as he looked around, they had finally entered the forest area of the Land Of Earth, and had increased their speed to around 200 kilometers per hour, which was almost the limit for his two other teammates, he'd have to work on their speed it seems.

Takigakure.

Fuu frowned, as the Soul Clone left behind by Ryu fought Saori.

The person in front of them was a woman. A very strong one too. A white mask covered her face, with two holes to reveal amber eyes. She had long pink hair which reached the middle of her back and wore the Akatsuki cloak.

She was Saori, no surname. A missing nin from a random hidden village, however that did not make her weak. She had the Swift Release, which combined Wind and Lightning together, to move at extremely fast speeds.

Ryu was having problem dealing with her speed, which changed from Jounin to Kage Level Speed in a mere fraction of a second,' I need to deal with her before she can injure me… It'll be troublesome but it seems I need to use the rinnegan it seems.'

His eyes turned to silver, with ripples and he extended an arm,"Bansho Ten'in!" He shouted as Saori shot forward, at him with no ability to move her limbs, she bit her lips and suddenly she got faster.

Ryu snorted as he dodged her attempt to hurt him with her legs, and grabbed them, sending her flying away, smashing herself at a stone. He then made several hand seals and shouted,"Scorch Release - Melting Great Ball!" He shouted as he exhaled a red mineral from his mouth, which shot out at Saori.

She managed to barely dodge it, but her shoulder was slightly affected, and thus was burned. She screamed in pain,"You foolish boy, I'll teach you your place! Wind Release - Great Breakthrough!"

Ryu effortlessly dodged the jutsu,"You are not strong at all man, use your Swift Release more!" He said as he slammed his fist at her, sending her flying away. "Fuu, get away from here, follow this wood clone!" He said as he formed a wood clone, which took his shape.

Fuu nodded,"Be safe and careful,Ryu!" She was not a fool, she knew she would only make it harder for Ryu to fight her if she was around. Seeing her leave, Ryu smirked, his eyes changed to the Rinnegan, and he extended a hand forward, he absorbed the jutsu thrown at him by Saori.

Noticing her flinch, he suddenly dashed forward and grasped her by her throat,"Your chakra is around Kage Level, It'll be nice to devour it." And using his Rinnegan's abilities, he absorbed all of her Chakra, sucking her dry.

'This was a dull fight.' He suddenly frowned,"It's already finished? This was barely Jounin level Chakra. It's a clone!" He shouted as a foot slammed into his back,"You took to long to realize it, brat!"

Saori grinned in victory as her speed slowly increased, literally reaching the speed of a Kage,"Swift Release - Speed Of The Shadow!" She shouted and slammed her final kick at Ryu, sending him flying away.

The boy coughed,'She really caught be in a bad position, didn't she…. Geez. I need to be more careful, I've already lost up to 20% of my chakra in my current situation, I should just finish this quickly.'

He formed several wood clones which made different hand seals, and he finished it with his own hand seal,"Wood Style - Hand Of God!" He shouted as all the wood clones dispersed, and turned to wood logs, and the wood around them gathered, forming a gigantic palm, literally bigger than a hundred meters.

'Thankfully we are far away from Takigakure, and Fuu is already away from the danger zone.' Ryu said as his hand formed a fist, and the palm shot at Saori who sweated,'Even If I use my Swift Release, there is no way I can dodge that… It's literally moving at the same speed as me!'

Suddenly a white substance appeared in the ground, looked around and absorbed Saori, just before the palm hit the ground, she had just escaped. Ryu snorted,'White Zetsu comes to save the day. I'll just let them leave for now.'

He had exhausted most of his Chakra Reserves, he was at about 20% of his normal reserves, and not to mention he was a Soul Clone, which meant he was even more limited than his original.

"This is troublesome."

A certain Nara sneezed.
