Onoki took a deep breath, and jumped on top of the Iwa Gates, looking at the 50 teams with a hint of both confidence and arrogance. That was the charisma of a Kage, one of the strongest existences in the Elemental Nations.

"You did not listen to me. You failed to actually get the core of what I said. You still needed to show me your speed, no matter if it was in the form of a race, or some other way. Most of you failed.

You thought what the others were doing was a mere mockery to you. No, it was just them actually listening to an older shinobi, someone with much more experience than the rest of you combined!"

He looked at the Konoha Team 7 and groaned,"While I might not accept it, the Team 7 from Konoha had it easy to find the real meaning of this exam out. They started with a race, which they then found the needed speed, 50 kph, and even exceeded it. Their performance was by far the best!"

He then looked at the Kumo Team, which had two boys and one girl, and said,"Their performance was the second best, their speed was also the second highest, reaching way beyond 50 kph."

The 26 teams which had failed gritted their teeth,"But… We still guessed the first objective of the first stage." Onoki snorted,"Just because you moved a rock slightly, does not mean you achieved your objective!"

The rest were silent, until Ryu grinned,"Guys, don't feel bad, while you might've failed to qualify this year, you can always work harder...harder and harder! Work harder… Until you accomplish your objective! That's how you become a good shinobi!"

That was a weird situation, 26 teams, 78 getting an advice from an 8 years old boy? This was indeed weird. However, none of them felt like it, they just teared up.

Onoki chuckled,'He has the potential to become one of us too… a Kage, Konoha has good saplings, they have already secured their future pillars it seems'

He raised his head, looking at the sky and yelled,"Now… Time to announce the second stage of the Chunin Exam! This one is not going to be easy!" He glared at the remaining 24 teams, 72 ninjas.

"You see, Iwa has some of the best food specialities in the entire Elemental Nations, we like to call it … I forgot, anyway I want you to secure a ingredient used to make this food… And it's right next to Iwa!"

Yato frowned, they were shinobis, not gourmet hunters… There was a difference between the two, geez.

"This certain ingredient looks like an apple, it's red, larger than your usual apple, with several spikes coming out of it in weird spots. That should be enough to differ it from the rest." Onoki said with a cough.

" I must also mention, it is situated in the most dangerous mountain in the entire Land Of Earth Mountain Range. It's located in the Mountain Of Hell!"

Most of the genins were confused, what the hell was that?

Practically, it seems the Mountain Of Hell, or Hell Mountain was a place where chunins had a hard time surviving, they'd be supervised by jounins so it would be okay, but they also had to survive and escape from large monsters.

Of course, team 7 was chunin material, nearing Jounin, and they could fight jounins too, Ryu himself was extremely powerful, with his Wood Style and Rinnegan, no trouble could come to him.

Ken had EMS and MS, while he couldn't use EMS separately from MS,and he couldn't even reveal it to the world, unless he wanted to bring problems to himself, he could still use a bit of the boosts it gave.

He could just close his eyes and awaken them, and use it's abilities on an enemy, but with Yato's taijutsu and Ryu's ninjutsu, the chances of a strong enemy defeating them was low. Besides they would only deal with monsters.

Little did Ken know… That the strongest monsters were not large and creepy, they were humans themselves. THey'd have to keep an eye open even when during sleep.

It was not that Ken was underestimating the others, but before coming to the Chunin Exams, they had participated in several other C Rank Missions, so they had a lot more experience than before. Most genins here had barely any C Rank Mission under their belt, let alone a near peak A Rank Mission.

With the reward money from the missions they had completed, Ken had bought several different weapons, ranging from shurikens to ninja wires. He had an arsenal of weapons ready for use.

Yato, didn't require many weapons, as his own body was a sharp weapon. When you took his Gentle Fist into consideration, he was Jounin material, not to mention his Ninjutsu, which was not weak, but he usually did not use.

He also had the pure Byakugan, which had a perfect vision of 360 degrees, and also gave him the use of the Limbo Realm, he could create shadows of himself inside it, only one currently, but he was not too far away from the 2nd one.

He had also learned up to the Eight Trigrams, 128 Palms, could use several other techniques of the Gentle Fist, and was also reading the Hyuuga Tablet, left behind by their ancestor, who was unknown.

Little Did Yato know… That his ancestor was Hamura Otsutsuki, brother of Ryu Otsutsuki, the boy who was in their team currently. Truly Ironic.

Now… To get to the main dish, Ryu. He had mastered the Rasengan's Wind Affinity, and could create a new jutsu of the Rasengan,'Wind Style - Exploding Rasengan.' The strange thing about this jutsu was that,the Rasengan could hit the opponent, once and it would increase it's wind power, doubling the power in the next attack, and it would triple it in the next, releasing a screech which would call for its destruction, exploding in the next moment.
