The Overlord - Naruto Fanfiction (COMPLETED) Chapter 38: Exploring Iwa

Onoki was a man with a large red nose, and a short height. He was currently overseeing over seventy teams, from across the Elemental Nations, which had arrived to Iwa from the Chunin Exam.

"I can see that we have teams from our own village, Iwa, different villages like Konoha…,Kumo,Kiri,Suna,Oto,Ame and many other villages. I hope many of you can reach the rank of a Chunin…" Onoki said, glaring at the Konoha teams twice.

Obviously he was hinting that Konoha would have it harder than the rest. Ryu scowled,'I'll show this dude how this can be dominated. He's underestimated Konoha… And most importantly me! The strongest here!'

This was clear discrimination, but did the rest care? No, that would just lower the competition for them. The less people to think of, the better it was for them. Obviously, only Konoha actually cared about this issue.

Ken growled,"I'm going to go there and show him his place." Just when he was about to walk forward, Yato grabbed him and stopped him, with a single look, the Uchiha relaxed and snorted,'I'll eventually show him who is the boss here'

Onoki grinned when he noticed what kind of effect his words had on Konoha,he then looked at the shinobis and shouted,"You'll be free for tomorrow, but the day after tomorrow, you have to gather for the Chunin Exam, at the gates of Iwa, west.

Until then, we'll make sure you are comfortable, in the hotel of Stone Night, just right next to this area." Onoki finished. The Iwa Shinobi accompanied the various teams to the hotel, which was quite large.

Team 7 and Team 8 had a room separated by each other by literally a hundred other rooms, and they had the worst rooms of the bunch. Ryu was secretly enduring a lot of fury, just like his teammates.

That was probably why Iwa did not participate in the Chunin Exam in Konoha, one year ago, they thought Konoha would treat them terribly… And so they wanted to return the favor to them this year.

Ryu put his stuff into the bed he was assigned and exhaled. He just got the memories of the Wood Clone he put in Takigakure. Seems the Genjutsu his Wood Clone put was working. Technically, while it was a Wood Clone, it was an extremely improved version.

Using the Sharingan's ability,Kotoamatsukami he manipulated everyone's memories, into making them think the Seven Tails was always Konoha's. Of course that only was limited to Taki itself, and every hint of information which said it was Taki's was wiped completely.

The ten years old girl was extremely excited, despite being slightly confused at what had happened to everyone. She didn't really hold much empathy to people who had treated her so badly.

Ryu also sent a Wood Clone to call over Naruto to watch over the Chunin Exam, together with Jiraiya, despite Jiraiya and Iwa not having a good relationship, he did have several contracts with companies here.

Mainly due to his Icha Icha series. He could claim he was here for one such contract and also to accompany Naruto to see his little brother's advancement to chunin, which was absolutely certain if you asked Jiraiya.

The Toad Sage had witnessed Ryu's talent, while Minato also sent letters to him about his achievements, he could also see Ryu's Rinnegan, already knowing it from his previous meeting with Nagato.

And they were very close to Iwa too, so it wouldn't hurt them to near it and watch the Chunin Exam. The only problem would be Onoki, that old man was someone who you had to expect weird stuff from.

The next day came quickly, Ryu while slightly dispirited from the obvious bad treatment they were receiving, still decided to look over Iwa, he woke up very early, and jumped over building. To arrive at the highest mountain peak.

The temperature in Iwa was quite low, it was winter. He sensed a presence near him,"What is a kid like you doing here?" He heard a voice which held a hint of amusement. "Kurotsuchi, the granddaughter of the Third Tsuchikage."

Ryu muttered to himself, as he noticed the short black haired girl with pink eyes, who was probably around fifteen to sixteen. Shinobis and Kunoichis had enhanced hearing, so she heard what he said and scowled.

"A konoha shinobi… Why is a brat like you here in Iwa?" Kurotsuchi raised an eyebrow,'At his age I could barely mend chakra…' Ryu smirked,"I am here to participate in the Chunin Exam!" The Iwa Kunoichi started to laugh.

"You? At your age you should be playing with other kids at the playground, you probably don't even know how to properly throw a kunai, let alone participate in this sort of things!" Kurotsuchi said, and regretted what she said, as a kunai suddenly flied past her, stabbing into a stone.

"Did you say something?" A famous sentence, used by Kakashi… Just in a different situation, he'd be proud of Ryu. Kurotsuchi growled,she just got played out by a brat out of all people… "You…"

Ryu raised one of his eyebrows,"You'd molest a kid…? Just how low can Iwa Kunoichis get to… No wonder Konoha Ninjas hate you people…"He faked a scared expression and shivered, Kurotsuchi was getting annoyed.

'This is the first brat who has ever talked back to me like this… I really want to crush his jaw right now… Stupid brat. I hope that old man fails him,tche.' She took a deep breath and extended both of her hands forward, and said,"Obediently surrender yourself to me… I might leave you out without any bones fractured."

Ryu extended his tongue out playfully,"Make me! Old Hag!" He shouted as a vein popped out in Kurotsuchi's forehead,"Damn Brat!" She shouted as she jumped at Ryu, who just dodged her and escaped.

Ryu jumped out and crossed his fingers,"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" He shouted and several clones appeared in a poof of smoke,he could just use wood clones, but that would be a waste of chakra.

"YOU DAMN BRATTT!" Kurotsuchi roared as she chased Ryu… Across all over Iwagakure… Many civilians groaned as they heard the two move over Iwa all day…
