The Overlord - Naruto Fanfiction (COMPLETED) Chapter 2: Passing Of Ages.

Ryu looked over the world from the moon, and noticed his older brother, Hamura Otsutsuki nearing him. He looked way older, with several wrinkles, but still as powerful as always. "What made you visit the moon, Ryu?"

The older man asked with a hint of curiosity.

"Kurai wanted to look over the world, he had yet to do it since I typically rushed out of Earth very quickly." Ryu replied with a smile. " Besides can't I come and visit my older brother?" Hamura sighed.

"It's been two hundred years since then, Eldest Brother has died, leaving behind the Juubi Chakra as 9 Chakra Beings, and I am very near the end of my lifespan... Only you have not aged at all, Ryu."

"The fool, he thinks Chakra, Ninshu is going to bring peace to the world. His two sons, Indra and Ashura are morons too, well both of them are almost dead though, Indra died a long ago, while Ashura is about to die of old age."

"So I'll be the only one alive in the pure blooded family!" Despite their father being mortal, Kaguya had done a few 'tweaks' to their bloodline, so they were 100% Otsutsuki, instead of 50/50.

Ryu grinned and started to laugh loudly, Hamura used what remained of his strength to put a hand on his head,"Ryu... Why are you even still alive? You don't look a year over 18," The self proclaimed Otsutsuki Clan Leader asked.

"I'm immortal! It's as simple as that!" Ryu said with a calm tone. Hamura rolled his eyes," You didn't really get what I was trying to say, right? I mean WHY are you still alive? WHY are you an immortal?"

"Simply my brother, I am a God." The simple reveal, made Hamura open his eyes wide open,"Impossible! The only gods in the Pantheon of our world are the Shinto Gods, where does that put you?!"

The gods were not necessarily stronger than Hamura or Hagoromo, but they had unique skills which made the two siblings really jealous of them.

"I am not part of the Shinto Pantheon my brother." Ryu chuckled, why'd he join a weak pantheon, like the Shinto one?

Hamura did not really believe his brother," Then what Pantheon are you part of?"

"None. I'm a god who does not belong to any Pantheon." Ryu chuckled, and his brother's wrinkled face frowned. "Then why did you refuse to help us?! The three of us together could've easily beaten mother!"

Ryu raised an eyebrow," You wanted me to help you guys... kill my own fucking mother?! Are you insane? She was the one who gave birth to me, I might not agree with most of her ideas, but that does not mean I'll kill her!"

Kurai inside him growled in agreement. He might not have siblings or parents, but the closest thing he had to any of those was Ryu, who basically was his creator, meaning his father, not that he would ever call him 'father' though.

Hamura sighed, as his Tenseigan appeared in his eyes," Brother... I've always wanted to fight you, but you've always refused. Can you please at least grant me that single wish, to a dying old man?"He coughed while saying that.

Ryu sighed," You are too weak to fight me, not to mention your peak form, even you and Hagoromo together cannot defeat me, you know that right?" Hamura chuckled,"As always... You are always bragging."

Hamura said as he changed to the Tenseigan Chakra Mode, he gained 9 magatamas and was covered in Cyan Chakra. He roared as he shot at his brother, who merely chuckled and took his sheathed sword out, slamming it at Hamura, who was using the Truth Seeking Orbs.

It was a total defeat in just one move, Hamura could only look in disbelief as his Chakra Mode was interrupted," See? I only needed to use a fraction of my chakra and boom, I defeated you!" Ryu grinned.

Hamura Otsutsuki was dead, with a smile on his face, his descendants now worshiping his Tenseigan as something holy.

Ryu let out a single tear, he was a bit sad. While he was not really emotionally connected to his brothers, they still were related by blood, thus... He still felt something when one of them died. He now had no one he could talk to.

Ryu didn't have many friends, and now only Kurai was alive, he was alone in this world. No one knew Ryu Otsutsuki existed, no one knew the Sage Of the Six Paths had two siblings, instead of one.

The God Of The Infinite Paths, was unknown to humanity, the God himself chuckled, he liked it this way.

"Kurai. Let's go, we have a lot of adventures waiting for us! The world needs us, the God Of The Infinite Paths and his companion, The Infinite Dragon Of Chaos and Destruction!" Ryu smirked as he flew towards Earth.

A thousand years passed quickly. Ryu occasionally checked the descendants of his brothers, for example Hagoromo's Descendants created the Uchiha and Senju Clan, which later produced the Uzumaki Clan.

Ryu felt it was a shame to let the Uzumaki Clan simply die off from the attack of the three Great Villages, so he secretly let dozens of them escape, he did not really want to stop the entire attack, as it would reveal his existence to the world, not something he wanted to do.

A new Uzumaki Village, Uzushiogakure was founded away from the original village. He checked on them sometimes.

He could say they were comfortable, as their numbers returned to the original size. They did give Konoha a few members of their clan because of their help, which gave them a chance to escape. Kushina Uzumaki was among them, she was also chosen to become the Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi, whom Hagoromo had named Kurama.

Ryu checked him sometimes too,he could easily say he was very annoyed by his current situation, but Ryu, didn't feel like stopping what the humans were doing, mainly because it was not his job to do so.

Hagoromo had chosen the people to do that. but it seems they failed...
