The Overlord - Naruto Fanfiction (COMPLETED) Chapter 12: The Bell Exam

Ryu yawned," Man... When is he going to bring the people who are supposed to be our teachers? It's boring to wait here... and they should've been here literally 15 minutes ago." Kurai inside him snickered.

Ken rolled his eyes, agreeing with his friend," Aren't they supposed to be like... Jounins? They should just shunshin here... Talk about a waste of time, I could be out training instead of doing this."

Yato simply took out some snacks he had gotten and ate them, earning an envious look from his teammates, he only snorted and ignored the two of them. Ryu smirked before taking out some chocolate, and eating it.

Suddenly 3 figures appeared before them, a beautiful woman with purple hair, a man with a sick looking face with brown hair, and a familiar figure, The Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze Senju. Team 7 smiled.

"Hello, I'm assuming those are our Sensei's?" Ryu said with a cheerful tone, looking at his father and the other two Shinobi's and Kunoichi's. "Yes, Ryu. This is Yugao Uzuki and Hayate Gekko, your new Jounin Senseis."

Minato said, and smiled at the new genins," They'll be there for you whenever you need someone to explain anything to you guys. From now on you are Team 7, goodbye." He said as he shunshined again, not using his Hiraishin.

Hayate looked at the three and nodded,'So those are the ones Hokage-Sama wanted us to teach huh, they are physically very fit, their chakra reserves are already comparable to High Chunin Levels, especially Ryu, his is beyond Jounin, probably Kage Level.'

Yugao smiled at her boyfriend before doing the same to her new team," Hello, aren't you cute little ones? I am Yugao Uzuki, just like The Fourth said, I am going to be your new Jounin Instructor, you can call me Yugao-Sensei."

"Yugao Sensei!" The three said in unison.

Hayate smiled and coughed," You can call me Hayate-Sensei too. I hope we can have a good time here*cough*" Ryu frowned internally," He has been cursed with a disease from one of the Twelve Sages... Probably his Ancestor."

Since he was his Jounin Instructor, he could spare a few moments to heal him slowly, of course he could blame it in his Mokuton, or just simply secretly heal him daily, to the point he got rid of it.

"Well, then since you are still young, you probably don't know it, but every team has to face an exam before they can actually become full fledged genins, there is no use hiding it to you, because you were already tested, but you need to be tested on your teamwork." Yugao said.

Ken nodded,"What kind of test will we be facing?" Yugao and Hayate smiled kindly, but the trio could feel the fact that the smile did not promise anything good, only pure evil.

"You'll have to defeat the two of us, or make up for a good challenge, and also get Three Bells from us, two on Yugao and one on me." Hayate coughed and said, as he revealed a bell tied to his waist, and two on Yugao's.

"Just letting you know, there is a 66 percent that you won't be able to defeat us and become true Genins."

"It starts... Now!" Yugao shouted as the three genins suddenly shot forward, to hide themselves. Yugao did not bother to remove her sword from the leather sheath, while Hayate did not underestimate the Genins, and did it.

Suddenly several kunais flew at them, Hayate used his sword to block them, however a rogue kunai flew at Yugao who jumped behind to dodge it,they heard a voice,"Fire Release - Great Fire Ball Jutsu!" as a giant fire ball shot at them.

'That's Ken probably.' The two Jounins thought,Hayate smiled weakly," Just because I focus on Kenjutsu, does not mean I am weak at Ninjutsu," While his Kenjutsu was Jounin level, his Ninjutsu was almost Jounin Level as well.

"Wind Release - Breakthrough!" Hayate shouted as he expelled a lot of wind from his lungs, in the form of wind gust, the two jutsus fought with each other, but the wind one simply had more chakra in it, and it won.

'He moved away before the outcome was even clear, smart boy, probably knew he wouldn't win from the beginning.' Hayate said as he threw several kunais at a tree, the sound of metal clashing with metal rang out, signifying he had hit some kind of force with those kunais.

Yugao nodded at Hayate as she ran forward with an incredible speed, " I won't be using any kenjutsu with my sword, as it would be considered cheating with your current power." She chuckled to herself, her ninjutsu was also not the worst of the bunch.

Her best affinity being water, she was around high chunin level with it.

"Water Release - Water Dragon Jutsu!" She shouted as her chakra began to change to a water dragon, and flew at the trees, where Ryu was hiding, said boy smirked as he returned the jutsu behind.

Making her raise an eyebrow," He can perform a C Rank Jutsu so effortlessly..." The time he had definitely was not enough to do all the hand seals. The two jutsus meet with each other, in the end Ryu's jutsu won.

Yugao had to jump to dodge the water dragon, she was just about to use kenjutsu, but she remembered she said she wouldn't use it, and being the nice woman she was , she pouted in anger.

Hayate at the other corner, was fighting Yato in a battle of taijutsu, and was having a few of his Chakra Points sealed, it was extremely hard to battle the Hyuuga's Gentle Fist without destructive power, and he was not supposed to hurt them too much.

He swung the dull side of his sword and disturbed the stance,'His stance can be easily broken, that needs to be fixed, from what I heard that has already happened 3 times...'
