Qianxi released his hands.  She stepped backwards one step to let him come in.  “But you need to explain clearly before you come in.  What did you mean on the airplane?”  She stood with arms crossed in threatening manner.  “Since you said like that, if I let you come in without clarification, won’t it mean that…...I tacitly consented to it…...so you better give me a good explanation!”

What was she talking about?

Xu Jimo’s “Qianxi Experience Bar” increased another notch.  She took his teasing rather more seriously than he’d expected.  She seemed to be a casual person, he didn’t realize she’d be bothered so much by it.

So he had better explain himself earnestly?

He self-examined himself and nodded.  “Do you want to hear my apology?”

Qianxi was stunned and looked at him. Why was it so easy for him to apologize?

“I’m sorry.”

Well, it sounded like a sincere apology.

He was so sincere that she even felt that she was making a big deal out of a small issue.

She walked back into the room, not wholly satisfied, and tacitly let him come in.  Xu Jimo entered and began taking the necessities out of his luggage one by one.  He squatted on the floor and looked upward.  Qianxi laid on one bed with both legs swinging back and forth in the air.  She faced the pillow and asked,  “How many girlfriends have you had?  You are so experienced and skillful at teasing girls…...no wonder you have so many fangirls.”

He ignored the question and continued to bustle around, “Do we need practice for that?”

“You don’t?”  She asked back.

He sounded serious when he had spoken back then.  No wonder it stuck to her mind.  “As long as the girl is lovely enough, then it’s ok.”

Xu Jimo was looking at her when he spoke.  The slender line of his neck looked more soft and attractive under the warm orange yellow light from the wall.

Qianxi felt very silly.  She slowly sat up with her legs crossed.  “......Really?”  Why did she feel that he was teasing her again……

“Uhm.”  He pointed to the bathroom at the back with his thumb.  “You first or I?”

“Don’t talk like that.  It sounded very sexually improper!”  Qianxi covered her ears and rushed into the bathroom, locking the door as fast as she could.

It was an absolutely proper question.  Now that she yelled at him for it, he suddenly felt…...it had become sexually improper.

What exactly was she thinking about?

Qianxi finished her shower and opened the door a crack.  She ran in with such a hurry that she had forgotten her change of clothes.  She was wrapped only in a bath towel.  She peeked to see whether he was still in the room…...well, he was there?  No, he seemed to have fallen asleep…..

It’s good that he was sleeping, it was good that he was sleeping…...She silently moved her feet trying to sneak back to her own bed.

But, the man on the bed suddenly spoke, “I’m not sleeping.”  There was no need to tippytoe.

Qianxi instantly backpedaled into the bathroom and used the door as a shield.  “Don’t open your eyes!  Don’t open them!”

“Uhm?”

“You are not allowed to open your eyes…...I’ll come out after you swear on it.”

“En.”

Qianxi sneaked out again.  She walked following the same path as before, then she quickly dove under the blanket. “Alright, you can open your eyes now.”

Xu Jimo rolled over and found Qianxi wrapped in a blanket like a cocoon.  She looked at him, wide eyed.  He burst into laughter.  “How can you sleep like this?”

“I can, of course.”

She was absolutely lying.

The next morning, she had two dark circles around her eyes like a panda as she sat in the dining room eating the breakfast buffet.  Wai Lai, the ungrateful and heartless little guy, sat in front of her.  He nervously asked,  “Qian, Qianxi Jie…...did you not sleep well last night?”

He was still a little guilty for “abandoning the big elder sister who was begging for help”.

Qianxi fiercely cut into a pie with a knife.  She bitterly stared at him.  “Humph, Jie Jie misjudged you.”

Originally she thought she was very strong mentally.  She had studied in medical school for so many years and had seen the naked male corpse and skeleton all the time.  She could even sleep soundly while holding a skull.  But who knew when there was a living man besides her…...it was totally a different feeling.

Wei Lai said.  “......”

Li Cang and Cheng Yang, the two lazy bones, also walked downstairs with a hand over the other’s shoulder.  They seemed to see a mass of dark clouds above Qianxi’s head.  They both started to click their tongues.  Then Xu Jimo walked in from outside and asked them as he was passing them.  “Have you seen Qianxi?”

The two continued to click their tongues then pointed at her.  “Over there.”

Xu Jimo walked straight over.

Li Cang looked scornful.  “Why didn’t he ask us whether we saw Cherry or not, or Wei Lai.  Ever since we got young lady boss, boss’s concern for us has suffered a disastrous decline.”

Cheng Yang exaggeratedly raised his eyebrows.  “Could it be the same?  After all they already slept together?”

Li Cang released his arm from him in shock.  “Damn, when’d you get so dirty now?  I can’t be with you anymore.  I’m on the side of young lady boss.”

Not too far from the two, the dark cloud above Qianxi’s head began to rain.  Her whole body was frozen like an ice sculpture. They seemed to be able to hear the sound of her fragile glass heart shatter into pieces.

Cheng Yang quickly covered his mouth in realization.  “......Was I too loud just now?”
