Tong Yan nodded and admitted, “Well, yes, I wanted to stop you for a second.”
“I can’t treat this matter the same way you do.”
“I know.”
“So what exactly do you mean?” Mu Qingyi also asked Tong Yan puzzledly.
Tong Yan had a few mouthfuls of his jelly before screwing the lid back on, “Don’t let your mother know about this for now. Wait till she uses her money to invest in her business or something before you tell her about this. That way, even if she wanted to help, she wouldn’t have the means to.
