Tong Yan went downstairs and looked at the shopping bags Xu Xinduo had brought. He crouched down and searched through them, wanting to see if Xu Xinduo had bought any underwear. After confirming that she didn’t buy any, he gave up and put the shopping bag in the cabinet next to the door.
When he went back upstairs again, he saw that Xu Xinduo had already put on her pajamas. She was lying in the bed like she was about to go to sleep.
Wait!!! Doesn’t that mean she could have put the pajamas on her own? Was she just acting cute because I was nearby?
He sighed and sat by her side, looking at the half-asleep Xu Xinduo. He raised his hand to touch his recently kissed face, feeling both angry and happy.
When he heard her call him handsome, even saying that she could gaze at his face endlessly without getting tired, he couldn’t stop himself from smiling. Her compliments made him overjoyed.

After Xu Xinduo fell asleep again, Tong Yan didn’t intend to wake her up again to make her drink the remaining hangover soup, so he carefully moved a little further away, afraid that Xu Xinduo would wake up.

Tong Yan hurriedly held Xu Xinduo down. As the thought of her taking another bath scared him. He was planning to go to the guest room to sleep, but he didn’t dare to leave now.
He could only change into his pajamas and stay in the room to sleep. However, he was still afraid that Xu Xinduo would go to the bathroom to take another bath after he fell asleep.
After thinking for a long while, he came up with a solution. He used a piece of string to tie his and Xu Xinduo’s wrists together, and lied next to her.
With this, he would know if Xu Xinduo tried to get up during the night.
After lying down, he turned off the lights and the room was plunged into darkness.
