When Mu Lingxi finished his heavy workload, it was already nearing lunch time .

Mu Lingxi quickly grabbed the phone on the carpet and pressed put it on silent mode . His slender large palm gently patted her back and pacified her, “Be good, don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid!” (TN: be good as in ‘be obedient, behave properly’ said to a child . )

The low, hoarse and indolent voice quickly enticed Luo Liyan deeply back into dreamland .

Looking at the phone noisily vibrating, the words “Tiger Auntie” flashed silently, and Mu Lingxi’s lips perked up in a good mood . He pressed the answer button and put the phone on his ear, and a sharp voice cursing in rage instantly sounded from the other end:

“Luo Liyan, I let you go to MuZhi to deliver a document, yet one morning has already gone by and you still haven’t reported back! Do you want to do it or not?”

“When delivering that kind of garbage to MuZhi what kind of reply are you still looking for?” The temperature in Mu Lingxi’s eyes dissipated into ice-cold, and the deliberately lowered voice couldn’t conceal the deep ridicule in his tone .
