The Last Embrace 73 Real Or Fake?

Jessy went inside the Queen's study room with a livid face. But in spite of her anger, she still has taken the time to make a bow in her presence.

Margaret was surprised by the look of annoyance on the young woman's face.

"What's wrong, Jessy?"

"Mother, your son Zain, nearly r-ape me last night! I couldn't tolerate any more of his degrading behavior. I change my mind I no longer want to continue with the marriage. Your son doesn't know how to respect me!"

"Calm down, Jessy," said Margaret. "Please, sit down, let's talk this over."

Jessy shook her head. "There is nothing to talk about, Mother."

"...at least please tell me what happened last night?" Margaret suddenly rubbed her temple, she tried to subdue the headache that was beginning to pound on her head.

"Zain entered my room while am sleeping, use my towel and my bathroom and spread my legs wide open to r-ape me!" she blurted out indignantly.

The Queen's mouth opened, then closed again in horror. She didn't expect his son will resort to this kind of bad and dishonorable act just to get Jessy.

"I'm sorry about all this, Jess. I don't tolerate my son's bad behavior. I will talk to my son about this. I will make sure he apologizes to you so that he won't repeat the same mistake again while you two aren't legally married yet." Margaret held her breath, waiting for the younger woman's reaction.

Jessy didn't make a sound. She was still furious with everything.

Afterward, she sighed.

The conflicting emotion and internal struggle were displayed on Jessy's face.

"We can no longer cancel the wedding. The wedding gowns, grooms suit, and other wedding attires are already sewn and everything was already planned and set in motion. To cancel the wedding at this point in time is no longer applicable," said Margaret.

Jessy smiled at the Queen. She smirked for some reason she can only understand. They can plan and continue the wedding, no problem, but the bride herself won't be there in the altar, that would be the sweetest revenge she could give them.

"As you wish, Mother. If it makes you happy then let's continue the wedding. Just make sure you reprimand Zain for me, okay?" she uttered her voice as gentle as possible, then she gave the Queen a faked smile.

Margaret frowned at Jessy's reaction, trying to decipher what is going on inside the young woman's mind. She doesn't like the sly smirk that appeared on her lips earlier. As if she was planning on something!

Jessy stood up and bowed to the Queen. "I'm going out now, Mother. If Zain would like to talk and apologize to me, he can find me in the dome garden. I will be waiting for him there."

She didn't wait for the Queen's reply. She exited the study room still wearing her fake smile. All she has to do now is to wait for Zain in the dome garden.

Margaret waited for her son to enter the study room. She was deeply bothered by Jessy's recent erratic behavior. She was also furious that Zain was not behaving properly towards Jessy, it only makes things more complicated between them.

"Mother....I'm here," the Prince entered the study room.

Zain sat on the sofa facing his mother.

"Jessy was here earlier telling me to cancel the wedding because you nearly raped her! My goodness son, why you have to do it? Why can't you wait for the right time? The best thing you should do is to gain her trust not destroy it. Why are you so, stupid?" the Queen lamented, throwing her hands in the air in a furious manner.

"I'm very disappointed with you!" Margaret added loudly.

Prince Zain fidgeted on the sofa and closed his eyes. He had to admit to himself that he was not able to control his urges last night resulting him doing the despicable deed, actually, it happened two times already, he doesn't have the energy to confessed to her mother that she molested Jessy twice already. When it comes to Jessy, he always loses control. Maybe, because she was always playing hard to get, and the more she acted that way the more he wants to consume her.

He sighed deeply and cradled his face with his hands. A feeling of shame and guilt washed over him.

"I am sorry Mother. I will look for Jessy later, to apologize and ask forgiveness for my sins." Prince Zain stood up and bid goodbye to her mother.

"She's waiting for you in the dome garden. Hurry up, go to her and apologize!" said Margaret.

"Yes Mother," he replied obediently and exited the study room.

When Jessy saw the Prince coming, she smiled at him first. No trace of anger on her face, just a genuine smile of politeness.

That really puzzled the Prince. When he sat down beside her on the bench, he makes sure he keeps a safe distance between them so as not to scare or invade her space.

"Hello Jess," he greeted her while smiling a little.

Jessy looked at him sideways. He has an air of seriousness around him, a little bit withdrawn, a tad different from the aggressive and lust-driven man she saw last night.

"Hi..." her voice a little bit distant and cold.

Prince Zain initiated a cough to hide his uneasiness.

"I would like to apologize for last night. I just realized how barbaric and psychotic I acted last night. It makes me so ashamed of myself. I promised to you I will never do it again," he looked at her with sincerity on his face.

Jessy looked at him earnestly. "Even if we're already married, you won't force me against my will?"

"Yes," he said.

Jessy laughed at him dryly. "I don't believe you!"

The handsome Prince stared at her.

"Well, if we're already married, aren't we supposed to make love? Enjoy each other's body? Is that what supposed to be all married couples final destination, right?" He threw her a wink and a smirk. "I promise you I won't do anything stupid again while we're not married yet."

Jessy nodded her head and smile a little. "Nice to know that."

"Don't worry the wedding will push through. But am bringing with me a companion. Your assistant will live with us under one roof," she said in a casual manner.

Zain's face twisted in disbelief. "Huh? You mean Hannah? No! That can't be. I won't allow it!"

Jessy laughed hard. "Why? You don't like bringing your sex toy with you? I will allow it, you should be thankful!" She grinned.

Prince Zain stared at her, face darkening. "Is this your way of doing revenge on me?"

"Revenge you say?" she asked, eyes rolling.

The handsome Prince watched Jessy for a long time. Her face was so beautiful and adoringly sweet you could literally lose yourself into her expressive eyes. He blinked twice as if trying to break free from her charm or else he will do something stupid again that he will surely regret later.

Jessy stared back at the Prince, not breaking her eye contact.

Then she does something he never expected...

She edges closer to him, grabs his arm energetically and pressed her head on it as if she was showing him affection. Then she looked up into his eyes without even blinking and showered him her sweetest smile, eyes sparkling.

"Be at my room tomorrow night, 10:00 PM to be exact, don't be late. I will show you something," she winked at him. She smiled at him for the last time while ruffling his hair affectionately with her fingers, then she rose from the bench heading to the dome's door for a quick exit without even looking back.

Prince Zain was left alone in the bench with a puzzled looked on his face. Its the first time Jessy do something like that, as in literally touching him, was that a sign of affection? She never openly touch him as if she was allergic to his touch and his nearness. So, what just happened a while ago?!

And those alluring smile...?

What the f*ck is going on?

Has she been possessed?

So unnatural of her!

Yet, that was the sweetest gesture she had showered him so far. He doesn't even know if it's real or fake. But somehow he felt happy that she showered him a little bit of her affection.

He grinned. He felt excited about her invitation!

He's very much looking forward to it.
