Farah .
Seoul, South Korea .
June 22, 2007 .
Malika and her friends wanted to go to the oldest cafe shop in Seoul called Hakrim . A vintage-looking cafe that every part in it had loads of stories . Farah didn't care much about how old the cafe was; she only wanted coffee . Malika was sitting with two of her high school friends who lived in Seoul for three years; she was existed to practice some Korean words with them . Farah wasn't enjoying the vacation from the beginning; Lena called her after they checked in the hotel; telling her about a new project . She had the drawing sketch with her, and she started working while they were at the cafe .
Malika was busy with her friends she didn't notice Farah at all . Farah already ordered two cups of coffee, yet she felt uninspired and bored . She went outside the cafe to breathe some fresh air; the weather was great and refreshing . She took her sketch and sat on the ground outside, she was desperate to start drawing anything; she had to finish three different designs in two weeks, despite being the head of the department, she had to do it herself .
Across the road was a man in his mid-twenties standing in front of a bookstore talking on the phone; he was a handsome man, yet his watch was the only thing that caught Farah's attention . Without thinking she started to draw his muscled left arm wearing the watch . She wasn't listening to anything but the music from her earphones .

"Wow . " Farah didn't respond . She kept drawing, he squatted down to reach her eyes . Farah startled and took off her earphones . "Hey there . " he had a husky deep voice with an Australian accent .
"Hi!" Farah was a little confused .
"I noticed your eyes were fixed on me, so I had to come and say hello . " his smile was charming; a smile of a confident man .
"Right! Your watch caught my attention . " Farah smiled, and her deep dimples appeared .
"Are you an artist?"— Farah shook her head no— "you should be, you're really good . "
"Are you interested in that type of art?"
"No, but my father is a master in drawing people, I grew up watching him drew the whole time . "
Both stood up, Farah closed her sketch and took a deep look at the man . "So, you must know how to draw then . "
"No, I am awful at it, I'm Noah Kim . "
"Farah Nezar . " they shook hands and went inside the cafe while talking . They took another table and sat with each other for thirty minutes, Malika noticed that Farah disappeared, she texted her . Malika looked behind her after Farah texted back then went to their table . "This is my cousin Malika," Farah said and pointed at Malika who took the chair next to her to sit .
"Hello, I'm Noah . "
Farah told Malika what happened earlier . "Again!" Malika said and chuckled .
"She did it before?"
"Every time we travel, she draws someone randomly . "
"That makes you a complete weirdo," Noah said and smiled at Farah . She smiled back and ordered three cups of coffee from one of the waiters .
"Noah, are you full Korean? You look mixed," Malika said suddenly .
"Great question, not racist at all," Farah said sarcastically that made Noah laugh .
"I swear I didn't mean to sound racist, I'm just curious about genetics and cultures," Malika said in a lower tone, raising her hands apologetically to him .
"No worries, my father is Korean, and my mother is Australian of English and Irish descent," Noah said, smiling .
"Interesting!" Malika said with a bug-eyed look . Farah smirked .
"You're not a fan of genetics?" Noah asked Farah .
"I don't see her point of being obsessed with it; I bet you she's already imagining how your DNA looks like . " Malika hit Farah's shoulder causing her to groan in pain . Malika's punches were always strong and quick . Noah laughed at their small interaction and from that one round of coffee, these three spend the whole three months of summer together .
