"What's with our boss today?" murmurs can be heard everywhere.

"Is he that happy that his wife died?"

"But they didn't confirm it yet. Maybe she's still alive."

"Yeah. I was thinking about that too since there's no news for her funeral."

"Can you see what I am seeing right now?" one of the female employee uttered in desire, "Our boss looks more handsome when he smiles." She said with a dreamy look.

"Indeed, he is!" They giggled.

Larry could hear the female employees around them but Ethan looks like his not hearing anything. He is still indulged in his own world. It must have been the first time for the employees to see a smiling and enthusiastic Ethan. He even greeted the security guards in the building and also the pantry staffs. Did he drink a happy potion? Must be a love potion!

Ethan is still overwhelmed. He just can't hide the happiness that he is feeling right now.

The past few weeks have been a roller-coaster experience for him. He never thought that this day would come. Living a life with the woman whom he loves deeply without lies and pretensions. Eli would be so happy to know about the legality of their relationship. But he is also hoping that Master Omni would approve it.

"Sir Ethan, someone is waiting for you at your office." Larry interrupted the daze man.

"Visitor? But I am not expecting one." Ethan creased a brow when he faced Larry. "Do you know who could it be?"

"It's Mr. Lockwood, Sir."

Ethan raised his brow. It must be because of Angel. Ah, that nasty woman who tried to kill Aisha. he balled his fist in annoyance. He doesn't have any plans of forgiving that woman yet but in courtesy, he must face the Lockwood's first so they took the private elevator to his office.

"Mr. Lockwood, how can I help you?" Ethan kowtowed in respect when he saw Mr. Lockwood stood up when he arrived.

"Mr. Williams, thank you for seeing me. I'm here because of my daughter, Angel. I want to apologize for what my daughter did to your wife." He regretfully bowed.

"I know what she did is a grave offense and she deserves to be punished by law. But as her father, I would like to ask for your consideration. You've been friends for so long, I hope you will find it in your heart to give her another chance." Mr. Lockwood pleaded.

"Mr. Lockwood, What Angel did to my wife is an unforgivable crime. She deserves to be put in prison so she'll know the consequences of her debauchery. Ethan nonchalantly uttered as he moves towards his chair.

"Mr. Williams, please, I'm begging you. Angel is my only daughter. If something worst happens to her, my wife won't definitely forgive herself. Please, I'm begging you."

Ethan thought for a while, "Mr. Lockwood, you've been so good to me and I will never forget your kindness for sure. But harming my family was your daughter's greatest mistake. However, I may retract the case in one condition." Ethan faces the middle age man.

"Anything! Please say it."

"Angel must leave the state and never come back again."

Mr. Lockwood was surprised in a moment. Angel will never accept that consequence but it is better than to be locked in a prison. He must convince her daughter to go back to Japan with him.

"I understand. I will make sure she follows me in Japan. Thank you so much Mr. Williams."

Mr. Lockwood was about to open the door when he heard Ethan spoke.

"Mr. Lockwood," he paused, "I hope this won't affect our business partnership."

Lockwood faced him with a smile, "Mr. Williams, my personal life doesn't have any connection with my business life. I won't risk my business because of this matter. I still uphold a good judgement." With that he left the office.

As soon as Mr. Lockwood left, Larry came in.

"Larry, make sure that Angel leaves the country as soon as possible."

"I understand, Sir."

"And also, did you prepare the things I told you about?"

"For tonight? Yes, everything is set."

"Good. Make sure Aisha won't notice anything."

"Copy that sir."

As soon as Larry left the office, Ethan called his grandfather to bring Eli at the safe house tonight. He wants everyone to know about his relationship with the real Erika. However, Ethan cannot contact Demetrius since he also wants to get his blessings. He is hoping that all will be well in Aisha's side.

"Aisha, hey… are you okay?" Lisa stood in front of her while waving her hands but Aisha isn't even looking at her.

" Look! It's Ethan!" Lisa shouted. Aisha suddenly jerked to where she was sitting.

"Ethan?!" she stood immediately and spun around just to face an upset Lisa.

"L-Lisa!" Aisha was surprise for a second while Lisa was busy glaring at her friend.

"Tell me, what's the real deal? Why the hell are you acting like a teenage girl?!" Lisa cried.

"N-Nothing. I'm just happy that Caleb is okay and you're okay." she grinned from ear to ear.

"Liar! Tell me, what did Ethan do to you?" then Lisa grasp her breath when she realized something, "Wait! Did you-----?" her look was accusing.

"Hey! What a dirty mind you have! There's nothing like that!" she casually hit Lisa's forehead.

"So what's the gist?" Lisa raised a brow.

"Haist! Women!" Caleb sighed while looking at the 2 women before him.

"I'm just happy that Ethan and I sorted everything out." she smiled, "I hope everything will be alright by now." Suddenly, her smile was replaced by a frowned.

"Don't worry, I know everything will be alright for you and Ethan. I'm just glad to know that your both okay now." Lisa embraced her friend.

"Yeah, me too." Aisha looked at Caleb then she smirked, "How about you and Caleb? have you had a heart to heart talk?" Aisha emphasized the word "Heart-to-heart talk."

"Eh?" Lisa suddenly jolted. She blushed while Caleb glared at Aisha.

Aisha laughed to her heart's content, "Guess you haven't talk about it yet. Need my help?" Aisha was teasing Caleb.

"Do you always need someone to remind you not to put your nose on other people's business?" Caleb glared at her as if his ready to murder.

"hha! I feel like my life is being threatened here so I need to take my leave while I still can." her mocking laugh can be heard until she left the room.

As soon as Aisha closed the door to Caleb's room, Lisa spun around to see Caleb, but Caleb averted his eyes. Lisa raised a brow.

"So?"

"So what?" Caleb was trying hard to hide his discomfort. Now, he is regretting his choice to call Sophie that time. Why did he confess his feelings to this woman? Now his perplexed.

"Caleb, I think Aisha is right, we need to talk about us." She went near him.

"What about us?" Caleb gave out an innocent look.

"Hey!" Lisa hit his head. "Will you stop playing dumb! You should take responsibility on your own words! After telling me those words I've been dying to hear, now you want to play dumb?! Are you for real?" Lisa yelled in annoyance. She doesn't care anymore if someone hears her. She just wants to settle the real score between her and Caleb.

"Omo, I forgot about that. Can we talk about it next time?" Caleb sheepishly grin.

"yah! I had enough of you. if you don't want to take responsibility, fine! I'll get lost. Why am I even wasting my time with you? I rather be with Kian!" Lisa frustratingly took her bag and stride towards the door.

"Hey! Wait up! Okay, fine. I like you! is that enough?" Caleb called out. Lisa paused, she was already holding the doorknob.

"What? I didn't hear you?" she faced him sarcastically.

"Damn! What an ear!" he mumbles.

"What did you say?" Lisa opened the door wide.

"I said I like you! this shameless man has fallen in love with completely!"

Caleb was surprised when Lisa swiftly run to his side and embraced him tight.

"I knew it!" Lisa smiled from ear to ear.

"Dang this woman! don't you have any dignity left that you need to force me say those awful words?" Caleb simpered but then he embraced her back.

"I threw it off when I thought you were dead." She faced him as she look deeply into his eyes, "I love you. I must tell you that while there's still time. I love you and I want to fight alongside you." she gave out a loving smile then she herself captured Caleb's lips.

Caleb was shocked for a second, "I didn't know you were this shameless too," he smirked but he returned the kiss passionately.
