Earlier, Sherry waited patiently for the doctor's arrival. The que was very long, good thing she registered her name first while waiting. Seems like he's really the best doctor in the hospital.

"Doctor, I came here to check on something." Sherry handed the pill that she took from her medicine bottle.

Doctor Menzi took it and inspected it for a few minutes. His forehead creased when he realized what kind of medicine it was.

"Madam, are you taking this medicine?"

"I've been taking that for how many years now. but just recently, I stopped since my memory loss is somewhat unbearable these past few weeks."

The doctor sighed.

"Do you have any idea what kind of drug this is?"

"The doctor told me that it's a supplement for the brain. I was told that it's good for my mental health."

"Madam, I think you're in danger. I highly suggest that you should stop taking this pill. Whoever forces you to take this must have an ill-intention towards you."

"What do you mean by that doctor?"

"This pill is dangerous, Madam. It has the ability to suppress past memories. Worst, it could even lead you to forget everything! Did you perhaps had an accident that made you lose your memory before?"

"I… I don't know. I think I had an accident in the past but I can't remember anything about that." She's about to break down. "My husband only told me that I had incurred brain damage before so he gave me that pill."

"Also, these past few days, I kept on having nightmares. I always saw myself falling from a cliff!"

"If you want, we can check your brain so we could figure what's wrong with it. Cause I think those nightmares where part of your repressed memories."

"Yes please doctor" she pleaded.

Doctor Menzi conducted a thorough check up for Sherry. But in the end, the result shows that she doesn't have any brain injury. Only that a part of her brain is a little shady. It must be the effects of the pill that she's been taking for more than ten years.

"Doctor, is there any medicine that could alter the effect of this pill?" she asked hopefully.

"There's no specific medicine for that. But I could only give you suplement for your brain. There's a possibility that it could also help you with your memory. But I must tell you that it's not fully guaranteed."

"I'll take the risk! And I will pay whatever it cost, doctor, please."

"You don't have to plead me for that. But I highly suggest that you should be extra careful."

"I will doctor. Thank you so much."

Sherry got out from the doctor's clinic. She suddenly felt betrayed. So all these time, Silver had been deceiving her? but why? there must be something about her past that Silver wanted to cover up. What should it be? She needs to know.

She needs to be careful from now on. her heart was filled with sorrow; then she thought of Rio. Rio might be able to help her. she dialed his number but the call can't get through. Did he possibly went oversee? Why can't she contact him? she tried again but to no avail.

"Aisha, can I talk to you for a second?" Lisa whispered.

"Sure, what is it about?" they walked near the window.

"I haven't apologized to you yet about the things that I told you the other night."

"Liza you don't have to. Besides, your right. I should have not kept you in the dark."

"I'm sorry." Still Lisa apologized, "But I want to thank you as well, for saving me."

"Lisa, I will never forgive myself if something bad happens to you because of me. You should know that. I will do anything in my power to protect all the people around me." She gave out a comforting smile.

"I know that. And I also believe that you need to go and see Ethan right now."

"What do you mean?"

"I was with him the whole time while you and Caleb had a heart to heart talk earlier. you should know what I mean."

Aisha's eyes narrowed but she averted her gaze outside the window. Lisa saw her hesitation.

"Aisha, I don't know what's with you and Ethan. But all I know is that, you should sort it out together. I know how much you love him, so do what your heart tells you to do before its too late!." Lisa tapped her shoulder.

"Ehm..." She nodded then exited the room.

Lisa went near Caleb and took an apple and peeled it. She sat on the bedside chair.

"What did you tell her? looks like it was very serious." Caleb asked.

"It's not for you to know. It's a girl thing." She made a face.

"Are you sure you didn't talk about me?" he smirked.

"What a big-headed guy! will you stop assuming that the whole world is just spinning around you!" she yelled. "So annoying!"

"Annoyingly handsome? Yeah, that I know!" he pestered her even more.

"Shut up!" Lisa suddenly blushed when she recalled something.

Aisha was running up the staircase to Ethan's room but to her surprise, Ethan came out from the room well-dressed up. She raises her brow.

"E-Ethan…!" she exclaimed. However, he walked passed through her as if he didn't see her. It's heartbreaking! She spun around just to see Ethan outside the door already. Is he going somewhere? And what's with that attitude? Crap! She needs to catch up! She run down the stairs again.

"Ethan! Wait up!" she tried to stop him but Ethan seems to be playing deaf. He went directly to the garage, opened the car's door and sat on the driver's seat. He started the car's engine.

Aisha swiftly run towards the car and got inside the passenger seat. She was breathing heavily while she settled. Yet, Ethan ignored her presence.

"Get out. I need to go somewhere." Ethan finally spoke with aloofness.

"No! I won't unless you talk to me." She's stubborn.

"What's there to talk about?"

"A lot." She mumbled.

"Then speak, faster." But Aisha doesn't know where to begin. She has a lot of things to say but she doesn't know how to start. How will she even begin with Ethan's current temperament?

Ethan must have felt her hesitation so he started the engine and drove away as fast as he could.

"Ethan! You're driving so fast!" Aisha cried but looks like Ethan is deaf. She was panicking in the inside but she mask it with her calmness in the outside.

After few more minutes of driving the long road, Ethan pulled the car over. He got off and shunned the door. Aisha jolted in surprise. She sighed, when will she ever get used to this man's temper?

Ethan was standing on the edge of the road while looking intensely at the horizon before him. It's a bit windy. Well, it'll help him cool down a bit. He might not say it but he is so frustrated and also somewhat jealous.

The woman whom he loves deeply isn't willing to take the risk for him. But how could she be so sweet with another man? That upset him so much. He must admit that sometimes, he envies Caleb's closeness with Aisha.

After a few minutes, Ethan felt two hands slid on his sides. Someone embraced him from behind. Now her head is leaning on his back. Ethan jerked a little.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for my cowardice. You should know how I feel about your proposition. The truth is, I was so happy when you told me to stay with you. I never thought you would ever say that. You must know how happy I am to know that you don't hate me." She paused a little but she doesn't want to let him go just like that. She tighten her embrace on him.

"But at the same time, I was afraid because I have a lot of what if's. However, I also realized that I'm more afraid to have regrets in the future that's why I gave a careful thought about this." Her voice was emotional.

"Ethan, I love you. I have always love you. I have loved you when we were still young and I love you even more today. With that, I am willing to take the risk-- with you and for you."

Ethan cannot believe what he just heard so he faced her. He stared deeply in her eyes.

"Do you really mean that?" he asked in disbelief. Aisha nodded.

"Ethan, I love you then, I love you now and I will love you forever. So will you allow this humble woman to be a part of your life despites her complicated situation?" Aisha teasingly knelt before Ethan.

Ethan caressed his jawline, "hmmm, I must think about your proposition first."

Aisha made a face. Her face was filled with embarrassment. She stood up and was about to leave but Ethan held her arm.

"Hey! Where are you going? Were not done talking yet!" He chuckled but Aisha averted her eyes.

"You don't know how happy I am this very moment!" He grinned from ear to ear. "Aisha, or should I call you Erika?" The woman chuckles.

"Erika, I love you and I am willing to be a part of your complicated life. So tell me as well, are you willing to take the risk and fight with me for this very complicated relationship that we have?"

"I do!" Aisha chuckled.

"I love you so much!" Ethan kissed her forehead.

"I love you even more." She gave out a loving smile that Ethan couldn't even resist. Then he gently captured her lips as they both savor the sweetness of each other's lips.
