Trying to present a calm facade, she moved away .

He let her go but the next second his arms imprisoned her waist from behind as she went past him . All air whooshed out of Jia Li at this sudden gesture . There was a full-length mirror on the wall facing the door in which she could see herself nestled in his embrace .

She, in her night shorts with scrubbed face and swollen eyes and he, in his tuxedo and tousled hair . Before she could utter a single syllable of protest, Tang's one hand snaked out to cover her lips while the other pushed her towards him, with her hips touching his thighs . He gently blew away the hair from her neck that had escaped her plait and nipped her there . A moan escaped from her mouth while she threw back her head involuntarily .

Tang knew this to be her most sensitive spot and allowed himself a small victorious grin before sucking harder on the now glistening spot . She couldn't take the torture anymore and turned around blindly seeking his lips . It was as if a dam had burst inside her and she was helpless against the tide . He thrust his fingers in her hair as her mouth reacquainted herself with the shape of his lips, the taste of his mouth and finally the texture of his tongue . He groaned in her mouth and both his hands slipped beneath her nightclothes feeling her contours . Jia Li tore away from his mouth gasping for breath and sanity .

"We need to stop this madness before it goes too far", she panted in his ear .

Oblivious to everything except his need to be close to her, his hands slipped under her shorts and found her well-rounded bottom . She could feel his arousal pressing hard against her thin layer of clothes and she was tempted…oh how badly was she tempted! Right at the moment, the intercom rang loudly in the room .

Breaking apart guiltily, she scrambled to get the phone, "err…hello?"

"Wake up sleepyhead… how much will you doze? C'mmon, get out of the bed . You have 10 minutes to get ready", said Li Jie .

"It's 5 in the morning! What is wrong with you? Where am I supposed to be going at this hour?" she grumbled, still panting .

"This is what happens when friends ditch you and leave the party early . They remain unaware of the plans made for the next day . By the way, you and I have a long chat due which we shall have over steaming buns and aromatic tea at the most famous breakfast place in the entire Bund . Now do I need to spell it in even greater detail or will you stop the interrogation and get out of the bed?" he finished .

Asking him to give her fifteen minutes, Jia Li put down the phone . She turned to look at Tang, who had been staring intently at her all this while .

She averted her eyes and strived for a neutral tone, "that was Li Jie . Apparently there was a plan made for breakfast this morning, err last night . So I have to get ready and step out in fifteen minutes and as for the madness that occurred few minutes ago, we need to ensure that it is never repeated" .

"I am aware of the plan . I was the one who had made it . Do you remember that we used to talk about visiting the place when I came back from America? Of course, that never happened . So I thought maybe I could fulfil at least one wish of mine to take you to one of my favourite breakfast place", he explained with a sad smile .

"I am just going to freshen up and shall see you downstairs shortly", he moved towards the door .
