At no response coming forth, he intertwined his fingers with her hair and pulled them hard . She whimpered in pain .
"When I ask you a question, you answer back . Understood?" he said in a normal tone, while his hands dug into her hair cruelly .
"Now that you know the rules, let's start . First, I want to see how do you look these days . Are those curves still as alluring as before?" saying so, he started shearing her clothes with the sharp knife .
She tried resisting but was rewarded with a stinging slap in return .
"Hold still . I don't want to accidentally cut your body yet . I told you, we have to follow the plan . Why do you never listen to me?" he gave her a disappointing look .
Going back to tearing her top, he turned to look at Tang for a minute . Oscillating his gaze between Jia Li and Tang, he saw acute discomfort on his face .
"Huh!, what's with the expression . I have seen her body enough number of times . I am sure, by now, you would have too," he uttered the second part of the sentence with deep seated hatred .
Fu knew that Jia Li had been a virgin when she had met him but now under the current situation, he was sure that Tang would have made his move on her and she wouldn't have said no . He turned to cut her clothes with a renewed fervour and vengeance .
Tang had dragged himself sideways to at least try and look at Jia Li, make eye contact with her, give her some comfort . But now he wished that he hadn't . He couldn't watch as that maniac cut through her clothes, bit by bit . He thought that he was going to die . He couldn't bear to look at the heart breaking expression on her face .
It seemed that time had stopped . Jia Li could feel the sharp knife grazing her skin by the time Fu finished stripping her down to her lingerie . He stood back to admire her near naked form . By now, she had given up on any form of help coming from anywhere . Maybe the call didn't connect, maybe Wei hadn't heard, maybe she was going to die today…
It didn't matter anymore . She did the only thing she could think of, she went deep inside her head . To the happy memories which this house held for her . She sought her parents out, asked them to hold her hand and never let go .
"I hate saying this but you have only grown more beautiful since I last saw you in this state . It is a shame that I didn't think of this method instead of looking for poor replacements for you . Never mind, we shall have to compensate for all of that tonight, right?" he spoke, almost to himself .
His fingers dug into her cheeks painfully as he brought her face close to his and forced a kiss on her unresponsive mouth . Then he started tracing the sharp edge of the knife from her forehead to her cheeks, then lips, finally resting it above her heart .
"This is the culprit . Had it not been for the obstinate behaviour of your heart, think how different our life would have been . I think it deserves a proper punishment for hurting me," saying so, he sliced a long, deep cut on the top of her breast without any warning .
Blood spurted out . She winced in pain but didn't utter a single sound . This was better than being touched by him . She could feel the sticky liquid spurt out and run down her body .
Tang emitted an inhuman sound at the sight of Jia Li's blood . With extreme effort, he pushed his body fast, hard and slammed into Fu's legs . Fu let go of Jia Li and lost his balance at the unexpected attack . Jia Li crumpled to the ground without his support . Tang dimly registered the fact that blood was gushing out of her chest at a fast rate . But his focus was still on Fu . Dragging his chair, he tried to slam into Fu but that trick didn't work the second time round . Fu was already backing away .
7:05p . m .
Right then the bell rang, and someone banged the door hard .
Heedless of Fu's warning, Tang screamed loud enough, "he has a knife, break the door, help us . "
Fu came and knocked Tang's mouth with his shoe, but Tang didn't stop shouting . Grasping the situation, Fu ran to Jia Li's room hoping to exit from the window in there .
The main door finally broke apart and a plethora of people came rushing in .
