The Gods' Decree 72 Proud Momen

" This sure is beautiful isn't it Taf...."

A voice could be heard coming from a young beauty dressed in an all white attire she found appropriate for training.

She addressed a youth with dreads that wore a sleeveless blue shirt with black loose looking pants. These two were naturally May and Taf.

" Yes it is... huh?"

Taf then went on to reply to May who aparantly had fallen in love with her prestine surroundings.

" Sigh, so we are only given six months in which i can train you in proper combat techniques"

" Though I feel it is a short period of time, it migh definite be doable. If we were still mortals this would definately not be the case"

He then continued to say as May held on to his every word.

" In these six month I will be quite sever with my methods but it is also necessary. I won't be the one you have known from the past."

" on the contrary I will be the most despised person you have ever laid eyes on.There will come a point when you thought you have reached your limits but you will hear me whisper in your ears a few words:

" Precious.., this is only the beginning. The warm up has ended, now let us start the task at hand"

Taf looked at May as for the first time she saw a serious gaze on his face.

" I don't need you to hold back as I can definately take all that you can offer.

She then return his gaze with a firm display of her resolve. Seeing her action he approved inwardly but a smirk was displayed on his face.

" Is that so....?"

A week went by as two figures could be seen exchanging blows. One was moving with such ease dodging all the blows the other could offer.

" Is this all that you can show me.... ?"

" I didn't say provide me with wind to cool my face. I need you to hit me just one measle time"

" Seems I've be lacking in my training regime"

" Hmmmm 2000 kicks...immediately"

The male in dreads suddenly caught a kick that was aimed for his gut as he smiled.

In front of him a girl could be seen drenched in sweat but she did not retort after hearing his command. Moving towards a tree, kicking its bark as huge dents could be seen with each delivery.

Taf looked on and smile. It hurt his heart seeing her in this state but he knew that at this moment she was giving her all. Not just for her but him as well.

" Bring it on...."

She shouted and raged within her mind.

" Still too slow....."

A kick saw her flying through the grass. However she flipped landing on her feet. As a piercing gaze was shown to the youth before her who had a nonechant appearance.

She then charged at him and shouted...

" I'll knock that smirk off your face....just You wait"

He looked on as his smirk widened transforming into a grin.

" Talk is cheap....i rather action"

▪6 weeks passed▪

" Hehehehe....seems the wind and you are working in unison. As whenever your punches and kicks miss, you try to fan me to death"

Taf teased as he continously dodged blows one after the other from an enraged May.

" Keep talking and see what will happen..."

Suddenly she felt a blow from behind. Before she fell unconcious she heard a voice in her ears.

" What did I say about keeping calm and never letting your opponent get in your head..

" Still as water and cool as the ocean breeze....."

" This could have been your death...."

" Be the one to lead and not the sorry soul gasping for breath."

Her eyes then closed after the last word were uttered..

▪3 Months passed▪

Two figures sat with their eyes closed as world qi gushed forth. Taf's eyes opened up to stare at the beauty who was May before him.

Beside her was a blue stone that had been bestowed by Alester.

" Congrats on reaching qi condensation 4"

He smiled as May eyes slowly opened . There she kept her stance in the lotus position.

"I am still quiet slow compared to you. Using this Affinity stone is the only thing allowing me to keep up with your speed . "

(The affinity stones are natural stones formed over a period of time by the world qi. Within them is stored an abundant amount of world qi. The amount is determined by the quality of said affinity stone.

They can range from low, medium, high etc. These are used by cultivators as they increase in levels and realms. This due to the lack of sufficient world qi that can be garner through cultivating at a short period of time.)

" The first two realms were a breeze but it takes longer to absorb the qi from the world as we go along."

" I'm sure you could have already been far ahead of me if you were allowed by Alestar to use a similar stone."

She then went on to say after seeing his smile.

" I don't mind at all, remember this journey will only be worthwhile with you. Also since my path is one that has never been tread. Taking things slowly might offer the best results in the end"

" If a God were to advise us as such, who are we to disagree...right."

After her words Taf seemed unpreturb by the fact his cultivation speed had been purposely halted. Instead wearing a smile on his face.

" Arent you still at the qi condensation 5, so it doesn't appear you are being held back that much."

She made a point of saying as his progress became the focal topic.

" It's not that bad...is it"

If those words were ever heard by cultivators of The Dark Abylis Sect, they would all take up arms in attempts to murder Taf where he stood.

His progress at the moment was down right outrageous. Within the Sect it would take at the very least four months with low level affinity stones, elixirs and pills before the most talented of genius could think of attacking the fifth level.

A nearby tree was blasted into smithers by the swing of May legs.

Taf uttered after he had dodged the kicked that was meant for his ribs.

" Don't tell me you're finally unleashing that pent up anger on me, big flower."

Taf smirked as he eyed May who slowly landed her leg. Her face displayed serene calm as she returned his gaze.

" No....not at all. This tree was just tainting my view. I thought why don't i remove it."

" It is fortunate that you had dodge however. I sure wouldn't want to hurt a hair on that body of yours."

A playful reply was heard as the glow slowly withdrew.

" These techniques sure do drain ones qi however."

She frowned after inspecting her body as she neared Taf that had a smile on his face.

"At maximum I can only call up on it four times. As my energy is already at 75% after just that one use"

" Then you have to ensure that your target is hit. When that is done atleast your energy was not wasted in vein"

Hearing May's words , Taf chimed in with his own analysis.

" Yes you are sure right about...."

A small smirk made its way present on May's face.

Suddenly Taf felt something was amiss.

" Got you...."

He was sent flying into a stream nearby.

" Taf.., Taf are you ok "

May rushed over to the stream where she saw the youth with a bit of blood trickling from his mouth.

He however had a smile as his teeth were washed in blood.

" Hehehe.., seems I have taught you well"

" Whenever your opponent least expects it. If a moment presents itself, provide a lethal blow"
