The Gods' Decree 59 Where are we?

Hearing the couple the five became lost for words. Were these too aware of their shamefulness. They knew the Mouse was this way but this girl to his side was no better.

Even Lovren who normally would rush to say his bit could only look on in shear wonderment.

With such ease acting as if they were the ones that had been wronged.

" However, let's forget the matter. You all are forgiven"

" Shall we be on our way? it does seem to be getting a bit late and we pride ourselves on being punctual baring today of course".

They then both made their way over to the white hawk seemingly unaware of the expression they were being given behind their back.

There the hawk stood in its proud fashion as it strutted its feet in annoyance of not being in the skies.

Still staring at the hawk with curiosity was Lisa.As May approach she smiled as before noticing the same twinkle in her eyes when viewing the hawk.

" It is beautiful isn't It?"

She stated to the curious May.

" Yes it is...."

" I like its white feathers, it adds such a beautiful charm, don't you think?"

May smiled in response before following up with her own small observation.

" Hi I am May and that brute over there is Taf"

" You are Lisa if I'm not mistaken"

An introduction of themselves was given by May of the two to the freckled face blonde linda.

" Yes...thank you for remembering"

Slight joy was seen on Lisa's face as she saw how friendly this girl seemed to be. After seeing how the couple had been domineering to the cultivators during the test, this was unexpected.

" It is no problem as we come from the same home right"

They also greeted the cowardly baldie Damian who still seemed frightened out his skin as he viewed the huge hawk.

Curiosity also overwhelmed Taf who had never been outside the city walls. Having not ever seen a creature so large, he became fascinated by it stature and made his way closer.

" Be careful the White Hawk is known for its viciousness. Being a stranger do not get too close or it might strike"

Seeing Taf seemingly getting closer to the flying beast Malgrey exclaimed as he was far too familiar of it behavioural habits.

When his distance was no more than a mere 10 feets away, the white hawk that once carried itself with such majesty, became hysterical.

Fear could be seen in its eyes as the youth presence was felt. It shook and shivered with each step that Taf took.

Seeing the reacting he was a bit startled as he really had no Ill intent.

" Interesting...very interesting"

He thought as he looked into the eyes of the white hawk that had become panic stricken.

" That's odd.., why is the white hawk acting as if it is being stalked by some Fearsome predator"

Malgrey was frozen for a bit as he looked at how the events had unfolded.

" It is really strange isn't it. We have never seen it act in this manner before"

Nisha who had stopped practicing took note of the hawks actions.

" Maybe it's due to his Demonification affinity"

To the side Cameron who had not offered much in the way of conversation spoke, after thinking of the possibility and offered an explanation.

" Yes that does make sense the more I think about. It's the blood that courses through his veins that has somewhat triggered the white hawk's primordial fear and inferiority complex"

Luke who also seemed intrigued by the matter agreed and deemed it the most plausable explanation.

The person that had cause the reaction of the creature Taf, contemplated the events as well and also came to the same conclusion after thinking it through.

" I wonder what bloodline it is....."

He look to his hand for a bit while the idea had come to his mind.

After a few minutes the white hawk was then calmed down by Malgrey. It was offered some treats that made it squeak in delight.It begged for more just like child being given sweets .

Seeing that the hawk had now been settled, the the four newbies were then told the proper procedures towards boarding on its back.

Though it was again panicking as Taf leg had brushed against its feather. A solution was then found for that said problem.The one that came up with the solution was the girl that was always by his side May.

He was given the treats and after a few minutes of offering it as a reward for its calmness, it once again went back to normal.

Soon the command was given to the hawk for it to ascend into the now blue skies filled with patches of white clouds.

As they had ascending into the air a hand was felt squeezing the other. When Taf looked to his side he saw a teary eyed May looking on him.

" Hey don't cry i'm right by your side.Though we might be leaving, they are always in our hearts....right."

"This is no farewell I promise you. As soon as we have attained the strength to walk these lands unbothered.., we'll be back. "

" We might have left the nest but not the flock. Let our wings that are meant to soar carry us back once more."

" This is our home..."

Hearing his words May took a glance back once more as the tears fell from her eyes.She then rested her head on his shoulder before Saying...

" As we walk back through those gates, no matter our great feats within that world..."

" This will always be our humbling...

" From this day on.., when we are here we will only be known as May and Taf.."

Taf also looked back as the White Hawk made its way through the skies.

" Bye Marvel City..... We'll be back soon"

While those words were uttered inside the city thousands of eyes watched as a white speck disappeared into the distance.

" Come back soon...."

Different voices uttered within the place they call the city of mortals. You may know it best as .....Marvel City.

Below the seemingly over grown white hawk, lands and rivers as far as the eyes could see were shown. It was a beautiful sight for the four newbies who had their first experience outside of the city walls.

There was only one problem as at moment, the ride was made unbearable by brute force of the winds that harassed them at every given chance.

Seeing the problems the newbies faced, the hawk was forced to lower its altitude and speed.

" My cultivator friends I don't mean to be that guy..,but shouldn't we get some idea of where we are going"

" I normally pride myself on being informed but in this case, I would say my knowledge is somewhat limited"

May to Taf side giggled as Taf tried to get the attention of Malgrey who was further in front.Hearing his words Nisha who had the broad sword in her lap decided to do the honours.

" I guess we should introduce ourselves to the four of you. I think that would make us more familiar with each other right.We after all will be apart of the same sect"

She looked at Taf and sighed as she spoke who seemed to be an instigator of sorts.

" We are team Malgrey and as the name suggest this team is headed by Malgrey, who is the fiery haired individual that is guiding the hawk"

Malgrey smiled after his introduction was given.

" I'm second in command Nisha, there is also that green haired fellow called Luke."

Hearing his name Luke also smiled.

" It has been a pleasure visiting your city. The foods were a delight. "

" Right...Lovren"

Hearing the comment by luke Lovren shrugged and looked away.

" Well guess I won't have to introduce Lovren as luke has done the honours"

" Lastly the blonde that is known as Cameron. He is not known much for his talking and is the newest member of team Malgrey."

Seeing that they had finally introduced themselves Taf nodded his head while May smiled.

" As you all know we are going to our Sect know as the Dark Abylis Sect. Now before I tell you where it is, I'll try to give you some basic knowledge of some matters."

" It is general knowledge that we are all citizen of a grand continent called the Star continent. This continent is filled with many countries that are seen as Lords of their domains.Within every country there are Sects or Clans that govern them."

" As with all things, there is inequalities when it comes to power of these countries. This is due to some being viewed as lord countries and others lesser."

" Those that are deemed Lord countries tend to colonies those lesser countries. This practice is quite common as often times it is initiated by the lesser countries."

" Why is this you may wonder...?"

Nisha looked at the four after asking the question to see if her audience was hanging on to her words. Seeing that there attention was still there she went on with her lecture.

" This is due to them being suseptable to attacks from enemies or worse being used as ritual sacrifices from devil sects"

After saying those words she paused and seemingly everyone eyes except May's was on Taf. He still remained calm as the eyes stared.

" Why don't you guys do a painting...it might last longer"

After hearing his words they all looked away and waited for Nisha to continue.

" Eh em...let me continue"

" These are fearful matters as such. Sometimes a lording country might have 20 or more countries in servitute"

" These countries other than being offered protection under the banner of the lording countries. often reap other benefits"

" That you will learn as you enter the Sect is beneficial to sects like ours"

" Based on my previous statement you should have probably guess what kind of country we are currently apart of"

Nisha once again paused before continuing with the necessary information to the wondering eyes.

" We are of the lesser country called Chu"

Within our country there are 3 provinces. There is the Teng Province, Fu Province and Meng Province.

We are from the Fu Province.
