May thought as she took a moment to inhale before slowly exhaling as she felt Taf's hand.

Seeing this their guide gave a look that needed no words. As if she had just had a moment of victory over this girl who exceeded her in beauty.

Soon they were led outside as the girl began to give her introduction.

" My name is Alicia and I will give you new recruits an idea of the Dark Abylis Sect. As members of the sect, you each will have a role to play.

These roles, of course, are based on your cultivation level as well as your potential. The roles include gathering of herbs, mining ( Qi stones), Demon beast hoard enforcement, Alchemy, Tools and weaponry refinements, Special Missions and lastly Elites.

I will be brutally honest in saying based on the fact you both exceed 15 and as of yet haven't reach qi condensation one, odds are you both will be limited to either mining or gathering herbs."

The more the guide spoke the more irritating her voice became to the couple.

She snickered as she thought of the little shack they both will soon be calling their dwelling.

" When one has arrived at qi condensation 6th stage they are placed within teams. These teams are ranked within a 5-star system. Merits are gained by missions accomplished as well as the strength of the team overall.."

As Alicia spoke it can be seen that she envied those who were a part of a team. Being at the 5th stage ascending one more stage and she would have arrived at the 6th and qualified.

"This, of course, is hopeless for you both seeing as such a stage won't be in your future anytime soon."

It appeared to both May and Taf that Alicia was the type of person to put down others as a means to make herself seem less inferior. Such individuals were quite pitiful indeed.

From her pouch, two more were taken out as if magic.

" Within these pouches lies your personal space of a few cubic feet. Within is additional information as well as your attire that should be worn. This, however, can only be accessed by those with qi.."

Alicia chuckled as her last words were uttered before throwing the pouches towards the two who caught them.

As they did they immediately scoured its contents.

Taf uttered to May as he observed inside. Within he saw a purple parchment that was sealed. There was also the uniform spoken of but also he noticed a black ring.

" Space ring huh, guess they are sweetening us up after all.."

He stated as he eyed Alicia who apparently was still trying to make sense of what had occurred.

Qi was then injected within the parchment and a popping sound was heard. When he touched the parchment information flooded his mind.

" By now you should have received an overall idea of the operations of the sect. Most of the information will be trivial to you both who have exceeded the requirements.

I'm sure Alicia has informed you of the team system. On a provisional basis, we have approved your membership with a group you are most familiar with. This is of course Team Malgrey.

As it relates to your boarding, within your space rings you will see a golden token. On your arrival hand this to the person in charge of lodging, Phillip.

If there is anything else my personal transmitter frequency has already been pre-install in your transmitter."

The message ended by saying...

"Hmm, Guess they truly want to keep my affinities under wraps. Which makes sense I guess. I wonder how Team Malgrey feels about my membership..?"

As he thought he looked to May who also smiled.

" Guess we will be seeing some familiar faces soon."

May uttered as she saw Taf expression. She then looked to Alicia who still was trying to come to terms with what happened.

" In what direction are our lodgings located?

This surprised Alicia as she still found the situation a bit odd.

" To the north, by foot, it should take 2 hours and by mounted demon beast a mere 15 minutes. You, however, will have to wait as my tour has not been completed as of yet.."

Once more Alicia tried to make known who was in charge...

" See that's where you're wrong..."

As May spoke a thunderous squeaking sound was heard. Above as Alicia looked, swooping was a huge red-feathered eagle whose qi nearly suffocated her with its overbearing nature.
