Rimbaud slightly turned his head to look at him. Bai Chunian had his head lowered, using his tongue to lick his shoulder, the barbs on his tongue scraped against the exposed skin between the gap of the bandages—it felt like a shark's body gently rubbing against Rimbaud's body, hurting a bit.

Very soon, Bai Chunian became dissatisfied with the less-than-intimate position of the shoulder. He changed to licking Rimbaud's lower jaw and cheeks like a clingy domesticated big cat.

It was unknown where the jacket that was draped over Bai Chunian's shoulder fell, but he was now only wearing a black undershirt.

Rimbaud lowered his eyes and stared at his arm lines that were not too exaggerated, but were so beautiful that one could not help but get hard. Because of the cool white tone of the skin, the places with rich blood vessels often turned red, especially the eyelids and knuckles.

Rimbaud carefully counted the marks on Bai Chunian's body: the blue fish mark covering half his neck, pecs, and shoulder, the name 'Rimbaud' written on the side of his lower abdomen in somewhat jerky lettering, and a piece of his own rib and corner of his heart hanging on his ear—Bai Chunian's entire body was covered in the marks left by him. Every single mark carried a light pheromone smell of Himalayan musk rose.

“There's something missing here.” Rimbaud held his forearm and said.

“What is it?” Bai Chunian defenselessly spread out his palm in front of Rimbaud.

Rimbaud extended his sharp nail and smoothly carved out a sentence in the merfolk language into the skin of Bai Chunian's inner forearm.

He carved it very fluently—different from the words he carved during the cultivation stage or when he was in the maturity stage caused by the AC enhancer. Within the traces of the engraving carried a deep blue color; Bai Chunian's wound quickly healed, but the color did not go away.

“What does it mean?” It's still a little painful. Bai Chunian bit his lips, revealing half his canine teeth.

Rimbaud pointed at each merfolk word and translated them to him, “Rimbaud's little kitty.”

“Why didn't you write Siren?”

“Cii atf ifjvfgr bo atf rfj mijcr jgf mjiifv Vlgfc, yea bcis P'w mjiifv Elwyjev. P'w nfgs rqfmlji.”

“En.” Rimbaud lowered his head and used his fingertip to caress the little design, appreciating it while in a trance.

He heard Bai Chunian call his name, and as soon as he raised his head, his lips were captured.

The soundproofing of the cabin was quite poor; they could hear Lu Yan and the others next door talking. All of a sudden, Rimbaud was pushed against the wall and made a muffled sound. The chattering next door immediately halted, probably thinking about what they were doing over here.

The kiss was very light and slow. Bai Chunian held Rimbaud's chin and sucked on his lips, then licked his sharp teeth; his eyes were closed as he reveled in the kiss.

He heard that a person who closed their eyes when kissing loved the other person more compared to someone who left their eyes open, thus Rimbaud also closed his eyes.

Bai Chunian kissed his lower jaw and neck, his flexible tongue hooked onto the bandage on Rimbaud's neck.

The bandage loosened, revealing a section of the skin below his Adam's apple, which was a bit different from the unbandaged Rimbaud he saw last time. There was a row of tiny blue crosses in a straight line at his throat—four and a half in total, the first four being crosses and the last being a slash.

“What is this?” Bai Chunian stopped and touched his slender neck. “These weren't there the last time we met.”

Rimbaud raised his hand, and his fingernail landed on the last slash. He drew a little line in the opposite direction of the slash, now making it five blue crosses.

“I did it just yesterday.” Rimbaud raised his neck and said as he pointed at the pattern, “The number of times we kissed.” Although it wasn't in line with his status, he gradually wanted to do something to please Xiao Bai.

Bai Chunian fell silent. He stroked the little crosses arranged in a row, his fingertip trembling.

“I like it. Very much so.” Bai Chunian suddenly excitedly pressed against him and licked the crosses on his neck, going a bit crazy with joy. “You're too cool.”

The night at sea was cold, and the room also felt damp. Rimbaud's body temperature was still very low, and after staying with him for so long, goosebumps appeared on Bai Chunian's skin.

Rimbaud also experienced warmth before—he would feel relaxed when migrating across the warm Atlantic current, but even that temperature was still too low for Xiao Bai. It would've been nice if Xiao Bai could feel warm when hugging him.

Bai Chunian buried his face in the crook of Rimbaud's neck, sucking and rubbing against it, as if not caring about the chill coming from him.

Too cute. Rimbaud looked down at Bai Chunian nestled beside him and felt that the Queen didn't need to be so able and virtuous; whatever he suggested would satisfy him.

“You have something you want?” Rimbaud rubbed his hair. “I'll go do it for you.”

Bai Chunian half-jokingly answered with his eyes closed, “If killing wasn't illegal, I wish the world's population would be cut in half.”

“Of course you can wish that, I'll go do it tomorrow.”

Bai Chunian, “Ah, no need. I just wanted to vent it out. You can't do that.”

Rimbaud was disappointed. “Alright ba.”

Bai Chunia, “You didn't do it before either, right?”

“I didn't because you didn't like it, not because I didn't like it.” Rimbaud straightened the curled up edge of the bandage on Bai Chunian's left eye. “Otherwise, I could've killed them a hundred times just because of this.”

“Don't ya, why is such a cute little omega always so violent?” Bai Chunian cupped his face and rubbed it, then planted a loud kiss on his forehead.

“I first need to know what they're using those clones of me for.”

Rimbaud furrowed his eyebrows. “What crooked plan have you come up with again?”

“Aiya, how can it be called a crooked plan when it concerns the Secret Service?” Bai Chunian sat up and leisurely crossed his legs, his two fists stretched out in front of Rimbaud. “Pick one, there's something nice inside.”

“Something nice?” Rimbaud seriously looked at the two hands, attempting to find some clues from the gaps. He hesitantly picked the left hand.

Bai Chunian opened his hand—a layer of pink lion paw pads emerged in his palm.

“Randi.” Rimbaud stared straight at it, then he suddenly lowered his head and stuck his face against it, sucking on it.

In the next room, Bi Lanxing leaned against the window and stared at the deck lost in thought. Vines grew and twisted into a slowly swaying hammock from his fingers. Lu Yan slept in it curled into a ball while wearing Bi Lanxing's jacket.

After Han Xingqian finished checking Xiao Xun to see whether there was any damage to other parts of his bones, he turned around and found that the scythe Bai Chunian had left behind was on the ground.

It looked hard on the surface, but when he reached out a pencil and touched its handle, the seemingly hard surface rippled like the surface of water.

He retracted the pencil, and nothing got on his fingertips. He tried to grasp the long handle with his hand and lightly lift it, but discovered that his fingers passed through the water-like insides without any obstruction.

Then the long scythe suddenly turned into a pool of blood, which quickly evaporated on the ground, leaving behind no traces.

“A weapon not made of any kind of metal material.” Han Xingqian wrote down in his notebook, “Only two glands in a driven relationship can be used together, and when they are used together they are extremely powerful.”

After the mission was completed, they returned to Greenfly City. Lu Yan, Bi Lanxing, and Xiao Xun went back to Greenfly Island's Special Training Base to continue their training. Rimbaud didn't have anything to do and didn't feel like going out, so he stayed home and watched TV. After entering the maturity stage, he was able to understand more TV programs, and life on dry land became plenty fun.

Both of Golden Silk Spider's mummy and rifle were sent to the Alliance Medical Association, where a tailored research team of experts was formed to carry out an analysis of the glands on the mummy and firearm magazine.

Golden Silk Spider's silk had a preserving effect, so before coming up with a fully established examination plan, the experts didn't dare rashly peel off the outer silk cocoon of the mummy.

Han Xingqian had also pulled an all-nighter for the past few days to look through the materials. When he went to work this morning, he made a cup of coffee to refresh himself.

Someone pushed the door and walked in before knocking. Han Xingqian was leaning on the back of a chair and kneading the space between his eyebrows. When he saw Bai Chunian come in, he asked, “Have you submitted your investigation report yet?”

Bai Chunian put his hands in his pockets. “Yeah. I wrote several pages of draft, typed it character by character into the computer—thirty thousand characters in total.”

“Got it. Once the materials are sorted, they'll probably be distributed to our Medical Association first.” Han Xingqian tidied up his desk full of piled up materials, then raised his eyes to glance at him. “Aren't you cold from wearing a short-sleeved shirt in this season?”

“No ah, us young people are full of vim and vigor.” Bai Chunian leaned over to him. “Han-ge, how about I give you a phrase in the merfolk language for popular science?”

Han Xingqian thought he had found some new clues to finding a different way to save the country, so he focused on listening carefully.

Bai Chunian stretched out his forearm to show him a line of merfolk words tattooed on the inner side, next he pointed at each one of them and translated them word by word.

Then he was shooed out of the consulting room.
