Followed by the slash, five bodies stood without any motion and the upper part of their body slide off them slowly and then fell on the ground and blood-splattered like a fountain, followed by the sound of a sword falling on the ground.

"Damn." Lucas cursed. Though his slash was quite good and he was able to execute it quite nicely but since his muscle hadn't adapted to this type of move, his right hand went numb and he felt an onslaught of sudden pain as if every fibre of muscles in his right hand tore apart.

The pain was unimaginable and he felt as if someone had ripped off his entire arm.

He even lost the sensation of his right arm.

'I have been careless.'Lucas spoke but before he can open the system to buy a potion, the remaining goblin didn't give him any chance to take the potion and jumped on him.

They noticed the human hand dangling loose and thought this was their chance to take them down.

Lucas stomped the ground and jumped back and rolled on the ground to gain more distance and avoided the goblin's attack.

The goblins followed Lucas not wanting him to give time to recover.

As Lucas got up, raising his left hand to the chest he made the number two hand sign and he waved his fingers and the daggers that were hovering beside him flew swiftly and pierced the goblin's chest.

Feeling the pain in his right arm, his mind was in mess and his control over the dagger had worsened significantly.

If it was a normal situation, the goblins would be have been headless by now, moreover, the dagger piercing the goblins got stuck in that place and even after trying his hardest to pull, he was not able to retract back his dagger.

"Damn." Lucas gritted his teeth to endure the pain and rotated his body turning in a semi-circle, letting the goblin club pass by the side and throwing a fist towards the goblin's jaw.

With a crackling sound, the goblin's jaw was dislocated. Lucas kicked him in the guts sending him flying in the air as the goblin slammed against the tree taking other goblins along with it who were at the back.

Since he was fighting in close range, goblins were popping out from everywhere like a game where you have to hit the mole with your hammer coming out of the holes.

Lucas pulled a dagger to his hand and use shadow steps and appeared behind a goblin and placed his dagger on the goblin's throat, he cut its throat as blood gushed from the cut like a fountain.

Lucas used the combination of shadow steps and a few killing techniques of assains, he learnt from Parth to take down the low-rank goblins to clear a part of the battlefield.

Finally, he cleared the minions with the remaining four daggers and took out the potions and gulped them in one go.

The cuts on his face and wounds began to heal at a visible rate. He felt his connection to his right hand restored and within a second, he could feel the pain he was suffering being disappeared.

He clenched his fist and moved his hands to and fro, to check it.

'Hush. I was not able to feel my hands just for a few minutes and now it feels odd for me to use my right hand.'

Lucas raised his head to slay the remaining goblins and get out of here quickly but his heart constricted slightly as he felt a threat coming for him.

Boom.

With a loud bang, a creature landed on the ground. The ground cracked and a fissure was formed which extended to a radius of twenty metres.

As the smoke and dust disappeared a deep green creature emerged from it holding a big war hammer. He wore a small shoulder guard on his shoulder and a chest armour made of bones. His lower fangs protruded from his mouth giving one an eerie feeling.

His body looked more like an orc than a goblin.

"Shit...A D rank." Lucas cursed.

The goblin took a huge and heavy step, as he walked forward, he swung his weapon and hit the goblin standing before him making them fly off in the air slamming onto a boulder which was crushed instantly as it came into contact with the goblin.

He spat on the ground and looked at the remaining goblins making them shudder in fear and spoke a few words in their language.

Noticing the behaviour of the goblins, Lucas concluded that they were being mocked by this newly arrived goblin.

The goblin after noticing the massacre looked at the puny human who was responsible for killing so many of his kins.

Lucas didn't avert his eyes and looked straight into the green goblin eyes.

The goblin's sharp gaze met with Lucas's cold eyes. Both of them looked at each other observing their opponent's strengths and weaknesses.

Seeing the goblin staring at him, Lucas could discern that the goblin's intelligence had reached that of a ten-year-old. Moreover, intelligence combined with his strength will surely be hard for Lucas to take on.

After observing for a moment the goblin gave a mocking smile and clicked his tongue. In his eyes the moment he set his feet on the battlefield, this small human fate had been sealed.

Lucas felt the mockery of his opponent. As he saw his opponent looking down on him, a thought flashed in his mind and he felt something inside him changing

Lucas's eyes became cold as his blood started to boil. He can feel his heart beating faster not of fear or excitement but with anger.

He hates someone looking down on him and seeing even a monster mocking him left him with immense anger.

A faint murderous aura leaked from Lucas as he stared at the goblin with the killing intent.

His anger amplified his killing intent mixed with his pressure giving him a formidable and majestic aura signalling to take him seriously otherwise you may not know when your head will roll down.

The goblin smile crumbled as it saw Lucas releasing his full pressure. Suddenly, he felt a threat though it was a minute threat still the thought of being defeated by this punny human had taken a bud in his heart.

He felt fear and saw the human glowing with a red aura that was giving it an uneasy feeling.

"Haaaaaaaa."

The goblin roared with its full might which forced the surrounding goblins to take a step back. The wind blew fiercely as if responding to its war cry.

The fire that was burning around was extinguished by the swift wind as a ripple in the air was formed by the frightening roar of the goblin.

Still, despite his strong howl, Lucas didn't take a step back but his gaze become more intense and his eyes flashed with ruthlessness.

Lucas raised his right hand and pointed his finger towards the place where his sword was fallen and made a calling gesture.

Saisshhh.

The sword was lifted in the midair by an unknown force and hovered in Lucas's direction and stopped gently before Lucas's hands.

Lucas held the grip of the sword tightly and looked at the goblin.

In an instant, the image of both Lucas and the goblin disappeared and a loud bang was heard and a figure flew back from the collision and slammed on the ground.

The figure than flew was of Lucas.

He dusted his back and stood up from the ground and spit the blood that was in his mouth.

From the first collision, it was clear that Lucas was the one at disadvantage.

Just as Lucas was about to take a step, from the smoke of dust where the collision take place, wind blades flew towards him.

Lucas's pupil contracted as Lucas felt the sharpness of the wind blade even from the distance. He jumped to the side and rolled on the ground avoiding the blades.

The wind blades that passed near him and ravaged the surrounding behind him turned everything into powder on being collided.

Lucas turned his head to look at the goblin. He was holding a sword made of bones that looked especially sharp and he swing his sword in Lucas's direction.

Followed by his swings, blades of wind flew towards him.

"Huh, wasn't he using a hammer, where did he get the sword from.'Lucas though.

Although this question came into his mind he didn't delve much into it. And used his shadow steps to change his position.

The goblin was surprised at Lucas's disappearance.

Lucas emerged from the nearby shadow cast by the rock and cast the ice spikes on the goblin.

Ten ice spikes with a sharp edge flew towards the goblins.

The goblin took out a brick-like object from his waist and put it on his sword. The brick locked and fitted on the sword turning into a hammer and he swung the hammer towards the ice spikes.

Bannnng.

The ice spikes instantly turned into dust on being collided.

Lucas ran through the field gaining some distance. He didn't remain still after casting the spell.

He was casting a fireball and running towards the goblin jumped in the mid-air and threw the fireball towards the goblin.

He even used telekinesis and locked onto the goblin with the dagger. The dagger converged beside him and rotating around, started to accelerate towards the goblin.

The goblin didn't feel any threat and slashed with his hammer but the fireball raining from the sky burst before him into small pieces and exploded.
